Only the Cage would play his own clone rather than play himself. What a legend
He also owns a fucking pyramid 🤣
He just did a movie called Pig, which is Jon Wick, but he's a chef and they stole his fucking pig.
It’s basically face off 2.0
@@RageUnchained wait, is this for real?
@@Crimson_Sun2486 It’s entirely possible.
Kudos for Cage for been able to take a joke about himself and even participate in it... High Praise!
He can do that anyway.
You mean "Kudos to* Cage for being* able..."
He needed the money
Cage has sort of become a joke so he may as well laugh at himself. Besides that he's a fucking actor not some sort of saint or important person in the world.
No one knows if The Cage is a good or bad actor
Nicholas Cage is a national treasure and must be protected from himself.
That's high praise!
THERE IS NO H IN HIS GODDAMN NAME
I see what you did there.
@@uome20bukz that's high rage.
I'm going to steal the Declaration of Nicolas Cage
'All of the dialogue is whispered or screamed.'
'Everything is on fire.'
Ladies and gentlemen, Nic Cage does watch his own movies 😂
You’re wrong though. That’s Nic’s clone.
@@StopCallingMeShirley1180 Well, Nick's clone also watches Nick's movies.
LMFAO
This is literally the description of the two Ghost Rider movies.
Writers write the jokes, not him.
Next time somebody insults me I will just reply: "That's high praise".

Nicholas Cage is a real pro...holds character without breaking, great sense of humor.
He almost did tho....can you guess where?
Holds character? He is the character...
😂 no shyt right! Well I meant like he doesn't laugh
Yeah and Nicholas Cage was a real pro as well

Prepare to die from human bites!
I loved him in Gone With the Wind
Cage’s utterly, utterly faultless straight face throughout this whole piece is so incredibly Nic Cage it genuinely adds layers of humour I can’t even process.
And the guy on the left really captured the essence of the Cage, hats off for that guy!
He cracked a big grin once. Other than that it was flawless.
That's high praise!

Best thing about Cage, he's totally self-aware.
mike jones funny cuz you sound so much like what you're speaking of jeez man
mike jones Nice b8 troll
mike jones I agree with you. Nick did not look happy. I don't know why people make fun of celebrities. Most probably jealousy moves them to want to bring them down.
This is legendary
Pardon Me I've always thought of Andy Samberg's impression as an affectionate one.
The unbearable weight of his talent was too much for one man to bear alone. They needed another Nick Cage
And just like that, any dislike towards the guy was gone in 60 seconds.
He truly is a national treasure
That's high praise!!
He's also a Family Man, imagine that. He always makes me laugh my Face Off.
@@theKK_spideyfans is o😅o oop o
The fact that Nic Cage kept a straight face during this whole skit speaks volumes of his legendary acting ability.
He had a couple hard looks to the left 😂

How the real Nic Cage didn't break character and crack up at Sandberg is light years beyond me.
Which one is the real Nic?
Because I could have sworn they both Nics

I love the way Nic comes close to cracking at 1:58 but regains his composure fully. High praise!
Nice catch!
That is the smile I always talk about when it comes to lord of war. The first scene where He stands in this ocean of bullet shells, he turns around and smile for a second and then he turns to his serious character. I love his acting in that because you can see at the very beginning that his character is a good guy in the first place
“All the dialogue is either whispered or screamed.”
If that isn’t the truth XD
I thought they were joking, but I just saw the movie MANDY and Nicolas either whispers or yells all his lines, plus everything is on fire.
Mao still a great movie.. 😁
Everything has to be on fire otherwise it’s not a nick cage movie lol
That’s high praise
They dedicate a whole episode of Community to discuss whether or not Nicolas Cage is either a great or terrible actor, cept it's an impossible question lol
Nick was on fire in Ghost Rider
I would love to see a cop/buddy film starring both Nicolas Cage and Keanu Reeves.
@Mike Studmuffin ...not a bad idea.
Cage, Reeves, Chris Walken, Sam Jackson.
@@theraque1 ...great lineup.
Underacting and Overacting all in one incredible duo? My god...

Nick Cage stays in character the whole time. High praise.
Which one?
@@thomasr1051 shut up
@@thomasr1051 Good question
"All the dialogue is either whispered or screamed". Love how Nic Cage can make a joke about himself.
I prefer to think that he suggested both key qualities in the writers room.
Nicholas Cage: "We're gonna have a three-way with the Declaration of Independence."
Declaration of Independence: "High praise!"
title of the 3rd national treasure movie... three-way with the DoI, where gates has to protect the DoI and nic cage played by andy gets mixed up in it all and thoughout there a romantic subplot of gates' girlfriend constantly mistakes gates and cage with eachother and ofcourse at the end nic cage and gates end up having a three-way with the DoI as the ending scene
I pay to see that movie

Kudos for keeping a straight face Nick.

Nicolas Cage: "No... I've got a pair... Of twos..."
GODDAMMIT!!!
Cage is a fuckin' legend. He's got that Walken-esque thing where he can always play himself, and he's been in every damn thing ever, and he's always awesome even when the movie sucks, lol.
Good comparison
WHEN the movie sucks? His IRS debts drive his project choices.

That's high praise!!!
more so than steven seagal.
Same.
My deepest respect to every actor who is that able to make fun of himself!
Excuse me but being able to gently poke fun at yourself is totally different from being a "self hater." A certain 2016 presidential candidate who hosted the show certainly lacked / lacks that capacity.
"blessed are those who can laugh at themselves for they shall never cease to be amused."
mike jones in real life, people who take themselves too seriously are hated
The best example of that on SNL would be Christopher Walken doing a sketch where the whole cast was imitating Walken.
Keep Nic Cage's name out your fcuken mouth !

The Simpsons version of Bill Clinton once said "if you can't laugh at yourself, who can you laugh at?"
He knows he's wacko its intentional lol
That fact that he didn't laugh is even more impressive
I remember seeing this live and freaking out lol. The way Nic can sit there stone faced the entire skit and not even think about breaking character once is amazing. Dude is such an underrated actor and a good sport. That’s high praise!
How Andy Samberg kept it together during this bit, is a miracle. Nic Cage is awesome for appearing during this
I love this i look at it many times
I think he was about to crack when the real Nic called him a psychopath. He realized he couldn't finish it and took a breath and said "🤨that's high praise"
You can say a lot about Nicolas Cage, but he does have humour and he's not a stuck up twitt. He definitely can laugh about himself. Something a lot of "serious" actors can't do.
He's the GOAT!!
That’s high praise
Serious actors make better movies though.
Be good to get Sean Penn on this

The fact that Nick does not break at all in this is the best. Thats what makes the skit.

Nicolas Cage does the best Nicolas Cage I've ever seen
That’s high praise!
You need to watch Face Off so you can see Nicolas Cage doing John Travolta doing Nicolas Cage.

They should remake that just to see 2 other actors acting like each other, but I'm not sure if there are 2 viable candidates for it
How are Nicholas Cage and Samuel L Jackson both in everything but nothing together?
Damon Hoffman *Nicolas
They stared in Kiss of Death together.
Amos and Andrew
(Nick Cage voice) Because that combination of raw untamed power and manically calm and contemplative charisma would simply be to volatile to contain. Any audience who saw the film would spontaneously combust and despite the fact that this is the goal of every Nick Cage film, it would simply be too powerful.
Maybe they're the same person...
I just loved how Nickolas started criticizing Andy's impersonation of him while being mocked at the same time lol
I just finished watching Mandy, and their description of every Nick Cage movie fit PERFECTLY: 1. All dialogue was either whispered or screamed.

Yeah. The real one is on the left.
At the first look, I had already recognised Nick's green eyes.

This is such a great segment. They were all so funny. And the dialogue. No one missed a beat. Really, this one is a classic.
It's a shame they didn't do an episode of Celebrity Jeopardy with him.
Managing to keep that straight face the whole time- THAT'S why he's in 90 per cent of movies out there!
Cage just earned some points from my perspective.
SausosiosIsrugos Yup, I'm sure that's what Nicolas Cage was waiting for... For *YOU* to validate his life. LOLOLOLOLOLOL
I totally agree! I have new respect for Cage after watching this...if I had to guess all the people arguing against this idea likely voted "orange" in 2016? That buffoon certainly lacks the humility and confidence to EVER poke fun at himself NOT to even mention accepting responsibility for anything.
