Other Arctic's songs to recommend is all of them, one of those groups that it's practically impossible not to find a good song by them, but if you want one to react to go for Brainstorm will blow you away
This band was a favorite of Bowie.. they spoke about how a long time ago he came to one of their shows and was automatically sat at a vip table.. somehow when one of their family members came to the show Bowie was asked to move by someone who didn’t know it was him.. their admiration went up a million fold when he didn’t pull the big star ⭐️ card by saying who he was.. him and his associate just quietly moved to where they seated him.. he even went up to them afterwards to tell them it was s great show.. true story and the sign of the truly humble Bowie and his lack of arrogance! ♥️👨🏻🎤♥️ Great Song!
Bowie never liked to sit with the famous people he used to sneak of and sit next to strangers and just sit and listen to their conversations. I have some amazing memories of Bowie such a gentle soft person who really championed the underdog with his poetry competitions and music. One day ill get to see the arctic monkeys live too.
Yessssss. In the future, check out their songs “I Wanna Be Yours”, “505” and “Knee Socks” Also, you would probably like the bands Bastille and Cage the Elephant. They’re alternative bands as well!
Honestly one of, if not the, best reaction channels going. It’s so genuine. You should react to some songs of their 1st album, came out in 2006 and they instantly blew up in Britain and became the biggest band going. Different style, but he’s still a poetic lyricist. I recommend “I Bet You Look Good on The Dancefloor”, “Riot Van”, “Mardy Bum” or “When The Sun Goes Down”, some incredible live versions at festivals (Glastonbury) too if you want to shake things up, particularly for the last song, where basically the crowd sings every word for him, over a 100,000 people.
That debut album was quality. It was like they came out of nowhere to save British music. Just as Oasis was on the decline The Arctic Monkeys were born
Artic monkeys are lead by their drummer. I'm glad even someone who hasn't heard them much can respect that upon a cursory glance at their music. People put so much emphasis on the lead vocalist and guitarist. but it's the drummer who keeps them all in time, in a song that has such rapid timing changes. The drummer is incredibly underated.
You should definitely peep game on their earlier material--"A Certain Romance," "Fake Tales of San Francisco," "Do me a Favour," "D is for Dangerous," and "Pretty Visitors". Matt Helders is on the drums, and he stays killin' it.
Bruh, everything seems underrated compared to R U MINE? and Do I Wanna Know?. 😂😂😂 I'm still a huge fan, don't worry. I'm just here to see the reaction of these guys on RUclips. It gets boring after I've seen 20+ videos, where they react to the same 2 songs only.😂 It looks like a trend now. 😅
I think this some completely broke my brain when I first heard it. The whole album is a 10/10 and pretty much solidified the Arctic Monkeys as all-timers regardless what they do in the future. Years later I played it for my future wife and she loved it so much we entered our reception to this song in 2019. ❤
Since you loved both of these songs so much, you would definitely also love their songs "Knee Socks" and "Snap Out of It", which were both off the same album as this!
Depeche Mode - Enjoy the Silence The Smiths - How Soon is Now Echo and the Bunnymen - Lips Like Sugar Train in Vain - The Clash Tenderness - General Public Our House - Madness Just Like Heaven - The Cure It's My Life - Talk Talk Big Country - Big Country I Melt With You - Modern English Love Will Tear Us Apart - Joy Division Blue Monday - New Order This Must Be the Place - Talking Heads More Than This - Roxy Music
Here's a list of my personal Arctic Monkeys favourites: Do I wanna know? R U mine? One for the road Arabella Why'd you only call me when you're high? Snap out of it Knee socks Black treacle Don't sit down 'cause I've moved your chair Crying lightning Brianstorm Teddy Picker D is for dangerous Fluorescent Adolescent This house is a circus 505 The view from the afternoon I bet you look good on the dancefloor Fake tales of San Francisco Dancing shoes Mardy bum When the sun goes down From the ritz to the rubble A certain romance Riot van
Another nice band on the same vibe is The Racconteurs. It is another band from Jack White (White Stripes). Some npowerful songs of them: “Steady as she goes”, and “Level”
Mate this guy’s reactions are so on the mark for the first time I listened to Am Also you know this is a man who knows his music when he’s got Electric Light Orchestra on his wall 💪🏻 Respect my friend
Their early stuff is something I highly recommend, each song from their first album like “fake tales of San Francisco” and “A certain Romance” (to name a few) are an experience! Keep up everything your doing mate!
Same album pretty similar theme through this album try some of the earlier hits like fake tails of San Francisco, bet she looks good on the dance floor, 505, riot van so many fluorescent adolescent another great
Such an underapreciated band in the states!! SONIC PERFECTION!!! The similar sounds on those two songs is because they are on the same album. Each album has its own wonderful sound. Try some earlier songs like: "I Bet You Look Good on the Dance Floor", "Teddy Picker" or "Crying Lightening". Your channel is fantastic! You have that genuine music appreciation we all have.🖤🎶
Lol he does have a song in the same album called -I wanna be yours... let’s just say it’s 🔥🔥🔥Mat(drummer) goes ham on a song called Brainstorm from an earlier album. listening to them live is 😩👏🏼🙌🏼😻😻😻 Alex is an excellent lyricist👑 proud to be a fan since (OMGGGG Im olddddd😩😩) I bet you look good on the dance floor.
This whole album is perfection and mostly stays true to this theme. Would recommend listening to all of it from start to finish! Also this song was before 'Do I Wanna know?' Came out first as a single a little before the rest of the album
Check out something from their first album "Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not". Completely different vibe from their newer stuff, but still amazing!
Some greats for you to check out off the top of my head: The 1975 - Somebody else The neighbourhood - void Lord Huron - the night we met Muse - supermassive black hole Ghost loft - seconds The killers - mr brightside (A MUST IF YOU DONT KNOW IT) Lana del rey - gods and monsters, born to die and young and beautiful The cure - lullaby Richard Ashcroft - check the meaning My chemical romance - welcome to the black parade Snow patrol - run Keane - somewhere only we know Paramore - decode I'll stop but those are all brilliant songs/artists to check out.
Another great reaction! That's exactly how we felt when this came out! You'd also like to check out The Last Shadow Puppets, a duo with Arctic Monkeys' Alex Turner with Miles Kane (another amazing singer!). I'd recommend Standing Next To Me, Aviation and Used To Be My Girl 😄🌻
This band has so many sounds!! Please react to "Star Treatment." These two songs are built around the same riff. Both great songs but kind of a bummer for them to be your first two listens. Both are also from the AM era (you might want to check out "arabella" or "why'd you only call me when you're high?"). Songs from other eras include "when the sun goes down," "d is for dangerous," "secret door," and "hellcat spangled shalalala." no wrong picks with this band!
Have to say i've been bingeing on you videos for the past hour because I love your reactions! (and you get pretty good suggestions!!!). Please I'd love you to do a reaction to Tanita Tikaram's Twist In My Sobriety. It blew me away on 1st listen, pretty unusual voice & song.
love your reaction channel, so genuine! :) i recommend watching some of their live shows to see the on stage magic! they’re rly something special and the lead singer, Alex, well just see for yourself. The man knows what he’s doing on stage 😅
Thats MUCH more like everything else that band has ever made. 💯 I know that "Do I Wanna Know" is a xool ass song... but 95% of this band's catalog before that sounds like THIS! 😎💯
React to their songs from their first album (Whatever People Say I Am, That’s What I’m not), like I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor or When The Sun Goes Down
My favourite things about arctic monkeys are alex turners writing and the diversity is mind blowing u should check out 1 song from each album its crazy how different they are and the drumer is matt helders hes also on the vocals. singer, writer, guitarist alex turner. Jaime cook guitarist and nick omally basist,on vocals
If he's gonna do KOL he should do Molly's Chambers, Holly Roller Novocaine, Slow Night So Log, King of the Rodeo, Charmer, My Party, Black Thumbnail, Arizona
Meet Alex Turner & co. their songs are brilliant. Glad u do this react! Arabella next. Listen to their numbers from latest album; Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino, Four Out of Five.

Fun fact, the drummer is also doing those high falsetto backing vocals
His name is Matt Helders and he is also a cowriter
Roger Taylor mood
Why is that a funfact? It's in the whole AM album, everybody would notice that
Helders=God, Alex didn’t lie

Really? That's really cool
Bowie loved indie/rock music, but hated his own fame because he couldnt just "go to a show" and listen.
I never knew that
"I Bet You Look Good on The Dancefloor" 😎
ohhh pleaseee
That intro is so good!!
Yes! They are so young, raw and amazing!!!!
I bet u do :))
Yesss plss
Try Arctic Monkey's "Why you only call me when you high?"...I think you have already listened to "Do I wanna Know".
Definitely. Great song.
Yaaaaasss! Do this one.
maybe their older songs too

Agreed, definitely not your average lyrics
That debut album was quality. It was like they came out of nowhere to save British music. Just as Oasis was on the decline The Arctic Monkeys were born
Riot van has got to be one of my all time favourite AM songs, hits every single time
Drummer is Matt Helders, he also does the higher falsetto harmonies
alex turner is a hell of a lyricist. he was a hell of a lyricist when he started at 19 yrs old... he still is. king capricorn supreme.

You gotta check out “Old Yellow Bricks” and “Fluorescent Adolescence”. All Arctic Monkeys songs are bangers!!
'Brianstorm' is a drum banger as well 💯
You should definitely peep game on their earlier material--"A Certain Romance," "Fake Tales of San Francisco," "Do me a Favour," "D is for Dangerous," and "Pretty Visitors". Matt Helders is on the drums, and he stays killin' it.
I wish I could hear it for the first time again
SAME!
This is one of my favourite bands
Absolutely agree! I never get sick of hearing them.
AM is by far one the best albums I’ve ever listened to. It’s a masterpiece man😭
I would highly record listening to “I bet you look good on the dance floor” by arctic monkeys
Arabella, 505, One for the Road, I wanna be yours, Fireside...all are 🔥
‘One for the road’ is another great song by these guys! Love your channel lot of love from the UK 🇬🇧
Their song 'Cornerstone' is very underrated
One of my favourite songs ever
Catapult too. The lyrics on that song is brilliant.
Bruh, everything seems underrated compared to R U MINE? and Do I Wanna Know?. 😂😂😂

'The View from the Afternoon' by them is a banger. Mad drumming 💯
Wait, are the Arctic Monkeys classic rock now? I can't be that old

(g)old
Well this was an instant classic
nah not yet imo
"When the sun goes down"
"A view from the afternoon"
"Dancing Shoes"
"I bet that you look good on the dancefloor"
Good stuff, I'm literally wearing their merch right now. You should react to 505 next.
Listen the WHY DO YOU ONLY CALL ME WHEN YOUR HIGH
You should listen to “My mistakes were made for you” by Last Shadow Puppets (another band where Alex Turner, from Arctic Monkeys, is the singer).
Ah Well thanks for bringing this up❤ this one just tears me up🥺💕
Mardy bum is my favourite Arctic monkeys song
I think this some completely broke my brain when I first heard it. The whole album is a 10/10 and pretty much solidified the Arctic Monkeys as all-timers regardless what they do in the future.
