Reminds me of Paul McCartney a little: he just has a great ear for a good riff or melody, and ends up writing total ear worms that you just can't get out of your head. I think they're possibly the best band of my generation. They have it all; tight musicians (especially the drummer) and Alex Turner is one of the best lyricists I've ever heard, he's actually got bars like a rapper rather than just repeating catchy choruses

I first caught them on Jo Whiley's Radio 1 show. I was one of the 120,000 that bought the first album the day it came out! Still one of my favourite albums today. Doesn't hurt that I'm from Sheffield and that accent sounds so good.

I saw them live in 2014 and It was truly amazing. I remember laying out on the grass with my friends and just vibing to the music.

I love their music. It's very rare to find a band or artists where I love all of their songs. And Arctic Monkeys is the only band for me. Their music is amazing.

The lead singer is ALSO one of the Last Shadow Puppets, I think you should listen to Standing Next to Me or anything from the first album
2nd album is better, imo. Miracle Aligner is worth it alone.
