What surprised me is that they don't sound that different live.
This is what happens when singers actually have voice, talent and passion. They sound the same way live and in the studio. They don't edit/reinforce their music with anything, it's just pure beauty. Same goes for Adele.
I always found it amazing that Peter Gabriel sounded even BETTER live even while performing on the stage. He even used to sing upside down.

He has a spectacular voice. Like even if he goes flat or sharp he keeps the same tone of his voice, so it sounds completely correct. It's really impressive. I love this band so much, I feel like they're bringing back good music with real instruments.
