Wonderfully organized presentation. A comprehensive start to finish on how to start building a gentleman's foundational wardrobe in one video. Jackets, Pants, and footwear. You can see how everything has been thought out to work for function, climate and combinations.
Thanks Okey. I am using this as a template to rebuild my wardrobe. I recently just found your channel. I will definitely be shopping and copying your style 😂
Okey, I really appreciate you putting the time and effort to teach us so many valuable aspects of how a gentleman should dress up (or down haha). If I may, I would like to kindly suggest adding time stamps and links to your previous videos during your videos. I believe this will add value to them. Shout-out from Brazil! 🇧🇷
Amazing. When I had a question in my mind you answered it! Can’t wait for the next one. Did you cover pocket squares? I’ve always been curious about the appropriateness and what about the best suit to travel in on a plane or train.
Good afternoon Sir, Where is the brown tie that you were wearing in this video from? I've been binging your channel since I stumbled upon it last week, thank you so much for your time and help.
Thanks for this. Having followed your segments, I think you've missed to address an issue that is equally important when speaking of building a wardrobe. And that is styling/details when deciding on a wardrobe, ie type of pockets, pick stitching, edge stitching, shoulder expression, gorge height, structure etc. Depending on styling you ought to end up with a totally different type of garment for different purposes. You've touched upon a number of important factors such as pattern, weight, colour, fabric etc. But details are certainly equally as important when speaking of a curated wardrobe or a limited number of items to include in a wardrobe. Looking forward to such a segment. Keep up the good work!
Dear Sandro, pls check out the segment we did on “Fit of an AskOkey” coat. While we didn’t delve into details such as you highlight (pocket styles etc), we discussed such design elements as gorge height, double stitching/doppio Impuntura (in the suit wardrobe video) etc. But thanks for the suggestion. I’m gonna pipeline this for a future segment titled “design elements and details of a jacket”. PROFF
@@AskOkeyInc I'm sure I've heard you mention shotgun shells determining the size requirements for jacket pocket size! 🤔.. I may be blending videos together at this point but I must disagree with @SandroMagna, that these topics have not already been covered. Especially Shoulder Expression. Seems we have seen several episodes extensively detailing how to obtain proper drape using correct shoulder stitching methods.. 🤔

PROFF, so what should I combine the burgundy penny loafers with it, is a jeans with olive field jacket okay, or just suits, or maybe a nice trouser with tweed jacket?
I share your passion for fine dressing but what I see people wear in United States I feel as if you may be preaching to the choir. I hope the upcoming generation will adopt classic dress.
Thank you for all the videos! Loving them!! What will be best fabric and in what wight for an overcoat for winter in Berlin where it is typically -3 degrees to +5 degrees but it is rains 10 days a month and is windy? Is Harris tweed a good option? What are other options? Thank you and keep releasing those videos!
