Classic Blazers and Sportcoat game is on fire. Appreciate the details of the fabrics, construction and the purpose of each. That glen check rust with blue is just beautiful. Noted on the Tropical Wool and Summer Hopsack selections for Summer instead of going the Linen route. Especially for those of us in hot climates.
I just recently found you're channel and it's fantastic. I wear full drape cuts as well so as soon as I seen you're style I subscribed. Keep up the great work, I can't wait to catch up on all you're videos. :)
Once again, excellent teaching and explaining keys to the gentlemen's wardrobe! Sport coats are so important to each man's personal presentation....Thank you...

Very enjoyable 🎯😎 just when I think I may have too many sport coats 🙆🏾BOOM🤯💥... I see this and realize I'm quite normal😂😁🤭 even slacking in my quantity. Thanks for sharing this knowledge Prof!.. 🥳

Mr Okey, you have a brilliant way of looking at style. One of my favorite channels right now. I wish you had a store here in Toronto. Keep up the great work.
So much great information!! After all these years I never looked for the pleat in the back or less lining for hotter months. Thanks for the details. I have a good friend who never buys suits..but only dress pants and shirts and fine sport coats. You probably won't be happy to know that I like to wear sport coats with denim and tactical pants.😢
Thank you very, very much for this tutorial. I learned a lot, and plan on implementing these suggestions in the next 6mos when my tailors visit during their next trunk shows. Thank you again!
Guys leave a comment for the algorithm so more people get to see this great content! Proff, thanks as always. What fabric would you suggest for a Navy DB Blazer that can be worn in varying seasons and that can easily be dressed down and worn casually? With cotton pants etc...Im leaning towards no or half lining and soft shoulders.
@ichder jogi. Thank you for the kind comments Ichder. Regarding your inquiry on a navy blazer, I’d suggest a Hopsack Weave by Smith Woolens. It’s a lovely and robust 13oz wool from the Botany Bunch. Tailors exceedingly well. Check out our Instagram post from two days ago for a specimen of this cloth made into a traditional blazer @askokeyig. And yes, ladies and gentlemen, PLEASE LEAVE A COMMENT or TWO 😁 Helps out with the ALGO’s on RUclips. PROFF!
A strikingly beautiful hat sir. Was that made by the master at Optimo? And of course a very enjoyable presentation with an exquisite selection of foundational sportcoats.

@@ruliadultra Mighty, I think tipped ties look nicer because they are sown at the edge. Of course one wouldn’t know this merely looking at the tie. But the wearer would know. Functionally, am not sure there’s any difference. I get most of my bespoke ties tipped. As to a potential AskOkey Get Together, this is something we’ve been thinking about. Hey there Proff, can I ask you what the brim length in inches is on that hat? I also love how it has just a slight turn up in the back. Usually snap brims turn up real high in the back.
Hello Aussie and welcome to AskOkey. The coat lapels are about 3.75” which I would consider average for my build. The Classic width is about 3.5”. PROFF

Not always sir. See it depends on the “density” of the Hopsack weave Hopsack made for suiting is usually less dense (and smoother) than that for jacketing And conversely, a TRUE Hopsack meant for jacketing cannot be used for trousers So in a sense, yes you have a point. But you have to very careful in your choice. Welcome to AskOkey sir! PROFF
