Fabulous and informative presentation again gentlemen delivered with enthusiasm and obvious passion for all things sartorial. Beautiful tobacco linen suit Proff. your choice of colours and material is truly inspirational!
Professor, you're knowledge of cloth and the detailed explanation is fantastic for sure‼️💯🎯👍🏾 However, if I may offer a little critique, the audience would've benefited greatly if your videographer could've zoomed in to clearly see the different colors and patterns. Just my thoughts...hope you take my critique as a strong desire for your continued success‼️ Keep up the great content...thank you‼️👍🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾💪🏾
Thank you Morgan for the feedback. Lewis McNuff above suggested ZOOMING INTO THE SHOTS. It worked for him. Please see if you can try the same on your monitor. Separately, we are getting a new lens set up exclusively for such FOCUS SHOTS. Thank you once again for the feedback Morgan. PROFF👑
I was able to view better by zooming in myself too. Excellent suggestion though. Thank you for this content, learning so much about men fashion Mr Okey and Mr Pete.
Good observation KEAHON. Since that video was shot last year, we have acquired a “MACRO LENSE” for the purpose of zooming into the cloth. Thank you for the observation and welcome to AskOkey. Are you following us on Instagram? @askokeyig PROFF
It is one of my favorite suits. It's also linen, and living somewhere where it is above 90 degrees Fahrenheit for 10 months or more, I could wear it often! :)
Mr Okey, may I ask which tool you use to film each segment..I've noticed with recent videos that I've been able to zoom in and focus by a factor of three or four, on each video. It's a special feature, but I've this feature has been especially satisfying given the quality of the cloth on show here. I can literally see the weave as if I were in the room, with the zoom in feature. The cloth with twill weave is a bit challenging to focus in on, but nevertheless it works well on everything else. Such a wonderful privilege to be educated by such well learned men who share the same passion and we do
Thank you Lewis. For our STUDIO ONE sessions, We shoot with ALL SONY set up. We use 2 A9’s and 1 A7R4 with various lens set-ups. Thank you once again and I’m glad you enjoyed the segment. PROFF
@@AskOkeyInc The pleasure has always been mine..May I correct myself after my earlier message..I can actually zoom into the image to a factor of eight! So it was wonderful to be able to see the cloth in such detail..It really helps with choosing the cloth and I can only imagine it helping clients of yours in making their final cloth decisions
Okey..you are doing God's work!! ❤️❤️❤️This and all your videos. I can't wait to see these next earth tone check patterns in your recommended single or double breasted style of odd Jacket. Currently I am living in East Africa Uganda and found a fabric market district that sells (well at least) it looks like all the fabric you showcased!! The colors and patterns are like a dream....how can I spot the quality of the fabrics? I believe I know, but I want your expertise.
Thank you for your kind words sir. Spotting quality fabric is an acquired skill. You have to fail quite a few times till you understand good cloth. There’s no other way unfortunately. Welcome to AskOkey. PROFF👑
I have used TONIK 2000 in the past for a dinner suit but Dormueil is not one of our registered Vendors. We can however contact them if there’s something specific you want from Dormueil. Good morning Keahon. PROFF
No sir they aren’t Prince of Wales has an overcheck of a different color over the Checks. Usually light blue over gray checks A Glen Uquhart Check has no secondary color. Just check on overchecks PROFF
@@AskOkeyInc Oh I See. Thank you PROFF. Very informative episode but there is one thing that is missing in the video, the close up shots of the fabric. A herringbone pattern for an example is my favourite one but I couldn’t see the close up of the fabric you showed in the video. But otherwise your conversations are precious. Love to see your work and always waiting for a new video. Thank you

Why didn’t the cameraman zoom in on the fabrics? Good verbal descriptions but I would have liked close-ups of the fabrics as you discussed them.

What's Peter's professional background?
Hakeem, Pete is a Business Consultant. He primarily authors technical manuals and business procedures for medium to large enterprises.
The moment at 11:54 would make a great short if you have not already made it into one.
I do wish there were close ups of the fabric. It seems like a basic consideration. Nevertheless I enjoyed the video.
