Proff, I’m relatively new to your channel. Thank you so much for the Master Class on shirts. I’ve finally learned what a shirt really is. I look forward to learning more.
Hello Mr. Proff. Very good video, very interesting. Thank you. May you talk more about the different cloth, the weaving types, weights and the seasonal aspects. Great video, like every time. Greetings from Germany.
Thank you for another great segment. You mentioned Brooks Brothers. They used to source their shirts from Gitman Brothers. Gitman is still in business but I believe all (or nearly all) BB shirts are sourced overseas.
BB oxfords are still made in USA, but the price had increased significantly and and the last batch I purchased circa 2021 were of noticeably poor quality.
This so really Original, creativity at an optimal height. We get ourselves dressed up in all sorts what we consider as fashionable albeit cluelessly. Prof. Thank ever so much and more grease to your elbow. Guys let's learn to dress well while knowing exactly what clothes we're wearing. Stay easy.
Sir excellent video on shirts with bespoke MTM fabric and fit as well appreciate your thorough detailed description of how to my the best choices for your own personal style as always thanks for the tremendous efforts you put into each video!
I loved the video and all the insights about the shirts, the “levels” of quality and price and also the tips! I live in a tropical country and will invest more in linen shirts just to be more fresh while wearing jackets during the day. Thank you Proff
I agree with you with respect to pocket on a shirt. With the exception of a guayabera I don’t have pockets on any of my shirts. I also agree with the fabrics of shirts. A shirt should be either cotton or linen. A shirt should never be polyester.
One problem with the armhole being cut high is that it may restrain your arm movement when your latisimus dorsi/teres major muscles are flexed. Usually when you try to reach forward. If you train and order bespoke shirts and suits, make sure that won't be a problem when they're taking your measures.
As a rock climber, I have to stress this a lot and the tailor/measurer doesn't believe me until I flex them forward and pop the top 3 pins they put into the mock jacket. It does in fact, get old and I wish they would just listen. The skinny fit crap the younger employees try to push is just atrocious to have to fight against every time.
This is excellent content! Even your overview is more detailed than other resources that claim to be comprehensive and authoritative. I also appreciate the insight into the upper end of fine menswear, minus the pretence. More people should be paying attention. In any case, keep up the excellent work, Proff!

Is your navy hopsack DB jacket here the 500gr Fearnought or the 400gr? I am considering whether to go for the full suit (since I can wear them as separates if I wish) or the lone odd jacket and, as you know, this choice determines the fabric on the site.
Hello Rulia. This Navy cloth (400 grams) is a “one-off” Hopsack by London Lounge Cloth Club. However we have something very similar in the FEARNOUGHT bunch (about 450-475 grams) My guys have been trying to reach you to set up a meeting as you requested on our website. Thank you PROFF
Amazing content, you obviously know what you are talking about. But the longer videos - because your reels/shorts are doing really good - are still a bit too slow-paced. What would help is background music or more dynamic visuals accompanying the spoken information, which means either more post-editing or just more sceneries and requisites for one video. Just my honest opinion. What you are putting effort into is great🕴️
