- hii! failure is my favorite band and it's been a long time since i want to cover one of their songs, but everytime i tried it sounded weird. i recorded the video like i normally would and edited on garage band (usually i edit on sony vegas). i added a second guitar and that's it lol. i hope u enjoy this video, 'cause this song and failure are very special to me :)

Also I got to thank you for doing this cover because since It had me looking up old Failure songs again the algorithm made me aware that one of my favorite 90s bands Hum released an album last year. I can’t believe I missed it but better late than never. Thank you Alicia.

@@paulyguitary7651 I just discovered that album a couple days ago. Hum is from way before my time but when I found them almost a year ago I was hooked. They've always been great, but I really like the direction they've gone with Inlet. It's nice to hear them in modern-day quality.

Quando eu descobri seu canal foi tipo: "ah, vamos ver o que é essa menina tocando violão no seu quarto" e eu imaginei que iria ver algo simples. O que acho admirável é que vc transmite uma potência com sua voz e com o violão de uma forma tão sincera. Faz parecer que estamos entrando no seu mundinho...
Além do mais, pra mim é extremamente nostálgico ouvir essas músicas. Eu tive a sorte de ter pais jovens com um ótimo gosto musical (que se tornou o meu rsrsrs) e ver ver vc tocando as músicas que eu escutava com eles me deixa emocionada e imensamente feliz de ver que tem mais pessoas da minha faixa etária que curtem esse tipo de som tb. Hi Alicia, failure is also one of my favorite bands. As a professional musician, I was blown away by your cover of stuck on you - a fan at first sight! I notice the reverberation you have used on your voice in this song, but I'm not sure if it is necessary. You play very well and sing like an angel :) Have you considered a Patron for your channel, like $10 per month to hear unpublished covers or music of your own? For the membership, you could include a VIP level where every month a member could ask you to play a cover for them? You certainly need more exposure and deserve to go viral - a Patrion or membership to your channel would help you do this. You are bursting with potential and I have no doubts that one day you'll have enough material for a Vinyl Album. Cheers David (who lives in Geneva Switzerland but is from Edinburgh Scotland).

This edit sounds more crisp and less flat, vocals are further reaching. I just compared to a couple other recent releases.
Gives more stage presence, sounds like you're playing a small venue. Maybe the extra guitar is part of it.
