- hii!!!! my first original song!!!!
i wrote this song when i was going through a moment where i realized that everything i did was for other people. i put someone else above myself and i started feeling suffocated. instead of understanding that my feelings were valid and ok, i thought that there was something wrong with me and i started being in denial of my own existence. i hope u like the song, i may not be the greatest songwriter of all time but this song is 100% me :)

This is one of the best original songs I've ever seen on youtube, you have this smoky voice that just sounds so real with none of the plastic self-aggrandizing singing style that you see everywhere now.

Has this young lady discovered a time machine from the 90s grunge/britpop glory days? as she would fit quite comfortabley among the greats of that era. Very compitant songwriting too and with Hope Sandoval of Mazzy star's looks and the nirvana/pearl jam influences as well as an eclectic knowledge of all the great indie pop/rock of the 90s you are clearly a star in the making. As a huge fan of your covers I really want to say it is better than I thought it would be. I know you are talented but writing original music is something different and I think it is quite common that people who do great covers are not so impressive when it comes to playing their own songs. I was a little afraid that your song won't be that impressive but damn, I was so wrong. It has this cool retro, unplugged 90's vibe, I love it.

This is a really good song, the melody is what shines the most for me. I feel like the song could be sung in so many different ways and still stay true to its original form. Being a songwriter myself, you have inspired me to keep writing on a song thats been in my head now for a while!

I find absolutely imposible to not hear this song in my brain while i'm cooking or whatever i am doing. This song comes with me wherever i go. Anyone else finds this as a great song? I really really love this song.
This song gives me a feeling I can't quite describe. Brings me to a really chill place where everything feels ok. I listened to it on Spotify first and had no idea this was an original, I went RUclips to find who did it originally, expecting Mazzy Star or another 90's band, and was completely blown away to realize it was written by Alicia. I don't understand how she hasn't blown up more.

Somehow her music seems like something really personal and known, besides I've never heard it before. And I don't talk about those 90'th songs that I've known for years (which is actually over a half of her channel for me), I talk about songs like this one, and this is the reason why it is so bittersweet to hear every time.
And I am so grateful for it.
Sometimes you come across someone in life and you feel a warmth in your soul but there comes a sad realization that you will never know this person and they will never know you but I've been so happy to hear your music for the last 2 or 3 years and I know you probably wont see this but I wish you the best.

Alicia I read your comment in the description and I really understand why you're into grunge now, it really makes you feel something so blissful yet only those suffering can feel that bliss. I love your covers and your energy, it's speaks so much about who you are and what you see in this life. I'm so happy you released this song, it takes a lot of guts but I'm grateful you decided to show yourself a bit more. To me you are real, you exist, you're one of the most real and honest as well.
