Nutshell was my Father's favorite, he was in the military unfortunately he died in Iraq in 2004, every time I hear Nutshell I remember him. A very memorable song for me.

Back when I was in Vietnam, one of my patients who had lost a leg would always sing Behind Blue Eyes, he wasn't the best singer, but to hear him sing at that time, no feeling like it. There really is nothing like the power of song, without song and prayer, I wouldn't be here, Nutshell was one that made me feel a little less alone in the struggle in some of my darkest years after I lost one too many of my brothers to cancer and war. Now my daughter loves to pull it out for family gatherings, and it reminds me of the hope and will power her innocent smile gave me, to live on and fight through the pain, it has become our song. Stay strong son, I pray you have found some peace and joy in life, your father died a brave man, but he will always live on in your heart and mind. Thank you for sharing a piece of his memory with us.

This is the only song that has ever made me cry. I listened to it after I had a falling out with my Mom. I was still in Highschool, and my grades plummeted. I couldn't justify doing homework when I felt like my world was crashing around me. I started smoking weed, I would get high off carts and lay in my bed, listening to this song and thinking about how I was going to get out of the situation I was in. My life is better now, my Mom and I repaired our relationship. I'm happy, but that was the darkest period in my life as of now. Whoever's reading this, don't lose hope. It's hard being a teen in its own way, don't let anyone invalidate those feelings. There are so many people that want you to succeed and are willing to help you, reach out and be surprised by it. Loneliness is oppressive, but don't let it cripple you. You're stronger than it, even though it isn't fair. Best of luck and keep your head high.

Damn man. This is the only song thats ever made me cry too. Only difference is I wasn't really going through anything, just outside enjoying the beauty of nature in autumn. Autumn is just a whole different vibe, can be so solemn but also joyous in it's own weird way.

@@butters_ the 'enhanced' bits are minor and only effects. the voice is still there. it just has added feel due to the effects. they dont discount her talent at all, if anything it makes her sound worse compared to her other videos where her voice takes more of the audio than the guitar does.

I am grateful young people today sing Alice In Chains. Not many people really understand what a great voice, and how much he put into these songs. No one really knows what he went through. And when he passed away, how much music was lost. Remember and be sad, because he was one of the best vocalist of all time. Heartfelt and real, even on drugs and heartbroken. You can hear it. Well done.

This is breathtaking good, Alicia. You do the Alice in Chains stuff so perfectly with such atmosphere and vibe. The "Ooooooooo" parts were especially beautiful. Its so angelic you could open the song with a few and add an extra on the outro. They are majestic the way you deliver them.

You put a really cool spin on all the songs you do, and your music taste is on point.
