He could have just said "be a vegetarian, don't eat too much and chew properly", but he has really gone to the length of everything that surrounds issues relating to being a student and issues around food. Its very true. I'm a Designer and whenever I eat heavy in the morning my whole day literally is messed up. So sometimes its good not to eat in the morning at all if you always seat behind the desk. and when you feel very hangry, something light depending on where you are will do. The educational system around the world should know this and instill this in students before they get into the coporate world. this little things are what most successful people do differently that makes them different.

I find when I eat light or go for hours without eating in the morning, I can do focused work for hours and be really sharp. Umm, according to yogic sciences, we must eat properly in the breakfast, less in the lunch, and even lesser in the night. Even Sadhguru did not say one must eat less, he said to eat right. Eat the food that will give nutrition without excess dead matter. Say you can get X amount of nutrients from an a fruit platter, and the same X amount you can derive from a heavy meal at a fast food center or cafe, you should go with the fruit platter. Because the other meal is having some unnecessary matter to be processed, just so that you squeeze out that required X amount of nutrients. And generally raw or semi-cooked veg food has the least amount of dead matter. It is fine even if you eat more, but simpler food whose level of complexity is not up to that of an emotional animal. Also, one must club this with different exercises in Yoga, like the Shambhavi Mahamudra, to achieve best results but because this is a college with busy students, maybe Sadhguru didn't talk much about that exercise.

The brain needs fats and proteins that plants dont sufficiently provide. Carbs are trash. They aren't necessary. The body can create its own carbs through gluconeogenisis.
I went broke, I didn't have enough food around. I discovered I could read for a long time, sit behind the computer alert and focused all time without wanting to take a nap. Make good decisions. Free and calm And after noticing these great benefits I have never eaten much or 3 Square meal

Since I've quit drinking, exercising more, and quit meat, my sleep has improved so much. And lately I've been averaging 4 to 5.5 hours a night and wake up feeling well rested. 7 to 8 hours is nice but I don't need it.

omg this opened my eyes. for a few months now, my average sleep time is 9-11 hrs a day. and i was so frzstrated cuz i just couldnt get up earlier. i didnt understand the problem, because i used to be able to sleep 6hrs a day and be completely rested and fit before. and now it all makes sense. about 3 months ago, i started to eat more and more in my attempt to gain more weight. and thats exactly the time when my sleep schedule started to get worse. now i have the answer - not only to the sleep problem, but also to why i barely gained any mass although i was eating like a madman the past weeks. thank you soo so much for uploading this! that may just have saved me a lot of future trouble.
So true, after changing my food habits from meat eater to plant based, I am felt much better in body & mind. There was a time where I loved to eat non-veg all day long. The older I grow I realised that I dont like it anymore. I liked fruits and vegetable much more and I feeled a lot better. If I had to eat non-veg food I prefered fish much more than meat of mammals. Sadhguru spoke out loud what I knew for myself through watching and listening to my own body. He is so right about that.

Chinese Food mostly contains raw dead food i.e dead meat on any living creature which moves around you and doesn't contain much of a living creature that does not move hopefully like plants.

I have been tracking this topic and a few research and what I have found is, it is important to sleep 8 hours, at least 7 hours, in the worst case 6 hours. Always try to sleep and wake up at the same time so the body learns it and get used to it. If any day you have inadequate sleep, please take a 20 mins nap sometime in the morning. Sadhguru might be habituated or at a different level of life so he can carry it out, but we normal human being need to care about our sleep. As of the research done until 2019, live or raw food are not that great, they make the body work more to digest. Well-cooked food is always better. Chewing is important as Sadhguru points out. Also we Indians have far better-eating habits than the west.
This is natural. Humans need around 8 hours of sleep each day. Trying to cut your sleep to 4-or-so hours is foolish and will result in health problems and burnout.

Hello. They said we must sleep 8 hours to live longer. But I only sleep for a maximum of 6 or min of 3-4 hours but still strong. I also learned to do IF. I really lost weight about 6 kilos in just 2 months. I lost my appetite in sweets and raised my saturated fat foods that melted my fats on the sides.

Summary: Eat sattvic food, 40-50% in raw / uncooked form, and avoid meat
Don't think the right food and posture is enough, you also have less/no stress if you want to decrease sleeping time (safely).
stress seems to go hand in hand with needing lots of sleep. sometimes it feels like the only reprieve from a busy life.

omg this opened my eyes. for a few months now, my average sleep time is 9-11 hrs a day. and i was so frzstrated cuz i just couldnt get up earlier. i didnt understand the problem, because i used to be able to sleep 6hrs a day and be completely rested and fit before. and now it all makes sense. about 3 months ago, i started to eat more and more in my attempt to gain more weight. and thats exactly the time when my sleep schedule started to get worse. now i have the answer - not only to the sleep problem, but also to why i barely gained any mass although i was eating like a madman the past weeks. thank you soo so much for uploading this! that may just have saved me a lot of future trouble.
So true, after changing my food habits from meat eater to plant based, I am felt much better in body & mind. Meat is indeed filled with cruelty & if we eat that it’s obvious how our body will form & produce. I will continue to keep my plant based diet & live compassionately within & for other living being. 😇🙏🌱

There was a time where I loved to eat non-veg all day long. The older I grow I realised that I dont like it anymore. I liked fruits and vegetable much more and I feeled a lot better. If I had to eat non-veg food I prefered fish much more than meat of mammals. Sadhguru spoke out loud what I knew for myself through watching and listening to my own body. He is so right about that.

Thank you.I have the absolute privilege to have found this man and his videos for the first time today.i feel blessed and I have learnt so much today. i am a vegan but the day I checked everything ,such as toiletries and cleaning products on the web to see if used in animal testing or ingredients and then replaced them I felt a weight lift from my shoulders,my energy changed for the better. When we know better we must do better.

Eat properly, live a balanced life, but please don't take it to extremes. This personally happened to my brother, who is now bipolar because of listening to this advice. Live a normal life and protect your sanity please.

I have been tracking this topic and a few research and what I have found is, it is important to sleep 8 hours, at least 7 hours, in the worst case 6 hours. Always try to sleep and wake up at the same time so the body learns it and get used to it. If any day you have inadequate sleep, please take a 20 mins nap sometime in the morning. Sadhguru might be habituated or at a different level of life so he can carry it out, but we normal human being need to care about our sleep. As of the research done until 2019, live or raw food are not that great, they make the body work more to digest. Well-cooked food is always better. Chewing is important as Sadhguru points out. Also we Indians have far better-eating habits than the west.
Well, he has a lot less stress in his life since he has developed high coping levels. What do you particularly eat in your diet to have energy?

This is natural. Humans need around 8 hours of sleep each day. Trying to cut your sleep to 4-or-so hours is foolish and will result in health problems and burnout.
@@vigneshts1168 Sleep is absolutely key to living a long, healthy life. Long-term sleep deprivation is linked from everything from cancer, high blood pressure and heart attacks to reduced focus and hormone generation. I wouldn't risk it, frankly.
@@vigneshts1168 You can invoke 'science' all you like - this is irresponsible advice. Cut 4-5 hours of quality sleep out of your life in exchange for a bit of meditation, and you'll take years off your life.

Hello. They said we must sleep 8 hours to live longer. But I only sleep for a maximum of 6 or min of 3-4 hours but still strong. I also learned to do IF. I really lost weight about 6 kilos in just 2 months. I lost my appetite in sweets and raised my saturated fat foods that melted my fats on the sides.
You look healthy? I looked so young this summer but now I look much older and I sleep much less.....
Can you tell in detail about your daily diet pls because i m also trying but my sleep quota is still at 9 hours it will be of great use if you could tell about your diet. 🙏🙏
