When the audience sees you dilly dallying around nervously it ruins the integrity of the review and makes us doubt your quality regardless of Dave's score.

Dave just needs to give an honest score when they do it. If it’s crap, give a low score. He might get some backlash but what is the point of reviews if he’s not giving legitimate scores?
He knows his pizza sucks and if you get a 6.1 on the app your business dies, if you get mid sevens it can save a business. You're a moron if you think they shouldnt stand next to him. They know it helps get a bigger score and WILL make them more money and possiblely save their business.

The pizza shop owners can get great crisp if they would take the time to par bake the bare pizza for 3- 4 minutes take it out and brush all of it with olive oil THEN top it and bake it until done, the undercarriage will be super crisp and have the crunch we all crave from a pizza, it's easy but the owners are lazy or dumb.
@@hankfanelli719 dude that's a lot of extra time. The crisp comes from the dough mixture, not leaving it in the oven longer. You'll just have a dried out overdone pizza. It's in the proofing, hydration in the dough and they type of mix you're using. But I get what you're saying.
When the owners stand out like this during the review I just think that's somewhere I should never go to for pizza.

Whenever Dave gives a 7.1 it’s really mid to low 6 , that 💩 would have made the pills bury doughboy look over cooked
Sometimes a 7.1 is a 7.1. Here you could see him deliberating hard, wanting to give him a generous score, but a 6.8 would have made the dude unhappy, 6.9 is a sex score, so he landed on 7.1. This would have realistically been around a 6.2.

Haha. I work for Backyard Pizza. The pizzas are not the money maker for the owner. It is the restaurant next door that he owns called "The Peddler" and the brewery that's on-site that's the money maker. Something like 40% of the profit is alcohol sales from the brewery. And for people saying the pizza was "doughty," they usually are not. They tend to cook more like pita bread, but Drew the owner didn't trust us to not mess it up, so he made and cooked the pizza that Dave ate. We in the kitchen basically had the mindset of "If Dave likes it cool, and if he doesn't then he doesn't".
He thanked the owner for letting him be in “his” pizza review at the end ahahah
