The local news started filming out in front of the restaurant.
The boss pulled me aside and gave me a brand-new restaurant tee-shirt. He then instructed me to put it on and go out and get filmed as much as possible.
When I ask him why, his answer was simple, "free advertisement for my restaurant".
I will tell you this the man's restaurant was still in business being ran by his kids long after he passed away.

Bank Manager is so concerned about camera being "suspicious activity" that at 15:58 he walks out of the closed bank and leaves the front door unlocked while he turns his back on the empty bank and unlocked door for over a minute.
I manage a bank and we are trained to think photography is a crime. As a photographer and a street photographer, I know better.
And he shouldn’t be in the bank alone after closing. That’s a violation of dual control, and that’s for all banks.
Why is he the bank on a Sunday, alone?!?

Anytime I have seen West Virginia portrayed, all I see is gut-wrenching poverty, run down shacks or mobile homes etc. I was impressed and learned alot . I now have very different view of the area. You provide a wounderful service as well as defending our rights. Thank you both.

It’s not a matter of whether a person has something to hide. In today’s world it’s too easy to forge documents with AI and attach a persons face to it. If ask to delete a photo simply do it and take another of the same view. Unless you’re up to something and want peoples faces in your photos, I can’t understand why a person would want somebody close up in their shot anyway.

I am 70, 107 pounds (male) and I interact with bullies, A LOT. Your style is beautiful and instructive and more helpful than I can express. Standing up to bullies, for many decades, was always a fearful situation for me and yes, when you have to stand you stand, trembling or not. Steve at the bank is a perfect example of why SWAT teams wait for a length of time before storming a building. Once you get amped up about anything, chemicals are released into your bloodstream. It's impossible to have an intelligent conversation until these go away. It can take hours. Anyone who's been in an argument before KNOWS this to be true of both parties in the argument. You have to "cool down" (chemicals dissipate) before you can think clearly and LISTEN to the other party.
So ridiculous how they get in your face and say you put a camera in their face. Keep up the good work, many “confused” people across the country.

When I think of WV.. I think of that song "Country road take me home.." that part where it says "West Virginia.. mountain mama.." - what exactly is a "mountain mama"..? - I imagine some big fat hairy inbred mountain hillbilly type woman who married her cousin, drinks moonshine and who needs serious dental work.
We all seen what 'mountain men" look like in the movie "Deliverance".. so I would think a "mountain mama" would be the female family members of these men.
I love this style of video, This felt like half 1st amendment audit and half genuine travel advertisement. You made each citizen look good, even if they did not like what you were doing. I think this is a powerful video format and would love to see more like this. I got the warm and fuzzies every time you thanked some one for smiling.

The Police never showed up. The reason that the Bank man "Steve" was so pissed is that when he called the police they educated him over the phone and they did a drive by and saw you outside on the side walk and most likely they recognized you from their online activity or BOLO bulletins.

I haven't finished the video yet but that guy from that CPR store was exemplary. I used to work at sprint and when someone had a repair that we couldn't do because they lacked insurance or something, we used to always send people to CPR stores. I'm so happy that guy showed me that they treat people right and that I was sending them to a place where they would take care of them
I sadly with the wide franchising of the stores there is no shortage of CPR‘s that I’ve been to that have terrible customer service. This guy is great though in that video very exemplary as you said. And I work at iSpecialize Phone repair in Chattanooga Tennessee. And we always treat any customer with the utmost respect

I have loved these latest videos and the still shots make me smile. The videos are more professional, respectful and confident. I am able to share these with my own son. No vulgarities or provocations. Just honest interactions with everyday people. Educating the masses one person at a time.

The auditing, the auditor and the editing is a perfect combination for what you want to see from a 1st amendment channel. Thank you Jason and Ben keep up the great work.
He really does take it to a different level than better than 90% of other auditors out there. There are points in time where I feel he is a little quick to jump at people but overall he is a gentleman to 99.9% of the people he comes in contact with until it's time not to be.

Your videos make me think back to when my boyfriend was in a motorcycle club about 30 years ago and we all rode down to the Caribbean Club in Key Largo, Florida Keys. I started taking pictures once we got down there and I got told off real quickly by one of the bikers and never did THAT again. You and your son are brave men and I love it. Oh, and the pic of that old Impala (?) with the Black Sheep sign .... Bravo. So good.
