Pauli’s, this has to be one of your most interesting and intriguing Walkie Talkie videos I have seen. Jeremy is almost reckless and spastic in his photography, yet there is a very definite purpose in his photos. The man is a genius. You would think his shots are staged, but obviously not. He has a great eye and sees things most of us would miss. I really enjoyed this video!
I was kind of doubting his methods at first, but, as the episode went on, I really grew to appreciate the guy and his work. Thanks for the vid, Paulie!
Jeremy is articulate, has a nice personality and is a really good photographer. He also works hard. Paulie knows how to ask the right questions and when to stay quiet. Put them together in Hollywood and you have a great video. Thanks guys and very best wishes for all you both do in the future. Regards Jake Everyman.
Paulie definitely knows how chill to let a guest talk. He may edit some of his prompts/questions out, but it's clear he knows the episode is about them, and not so much about him and his questions. It's one of the best things about this series.
09:44 man Jeremy gave such an intuitive answer to giving out prints. As I see it, he knows that if he lets the mindset of getting "the most marketable photos"/"take as much easy to sell photos" to creep in, it will hijack his own artistic view and he will eventually stop being true to himself.
Thank you so much for interviewing Los Angeles street photographers. I don't see as many videos here in socal so this is super nice to see others approach in this city in particular.
Every other walkie talkie, "I take pictures because... I have to." Jeremy: "I'm bored" 😂 Loved this guys work ever since I found him on IG a couple years ago, one of the very few photographers where I'll keep going back to their IG just to see their photos again.
I saw a video about Jeremy 3ish years ago that got me into the whole street scene. His eye and timing is amazing. Very cool to see how his approach has changed since then.
Awesome walkie talkie. I've seen him around, but never met him. He seems like a very cool guy with the right idea about his craft. I really enjoyed this one and he's a great representation of LA based street photographers.
Really enjoyed this one. You can tell that Jeremy has spent a lot of time thinking about the philosophy of his photography and approach to it. It almost doesn't matter what the philosophy is, it is always interesting hearing people like this speak about it.
Became very familiar w/ this guy’s stuff for a while on ‘gram - very cool to not only see him and his personality for the first time but also how he interacts w/ his surroundings and thinks about his art and the world.
I'm sorry, but no. It's kinda clear it's the opposite. This guy is so confident in his work that he doesn't need to brag in the slightest. His excellence is evident in the work.
Finally get to the voyeur behind the work. Can relate to him saying how the place is a crutch because it reminds him of home back in New Orleans - if anything, he’s just being honest that Hollywood Boulevard has the same energy, a wildness, that allows him to cross paths with personalities that remind him of where he grew up. Been following him for a few years and his work is 👌
I can kinda hear the frustration in his speech about the culture and the hobby, but also just how much he loves it. And the natural feelings he gets for photos. Really digging these walkie-talkie episodes.
I know this man and his work, but he’s such a likable and honest human. Love this episode. The only think is you have missed to ask about camera, lens and film choice. My guess is 24 mm, Nikon one the last film cameras and porta 400. Not that matter at all, it’s just we all are curious about 😂
really love Jeremy's work, so hyped to see this one! thanks for the free month of skillshare too i havent been able to afford it so its gonna be a long month of learning and growth
Watching this I couldnt help but feel an incredible amount of joy and happiness for you. So happy for you man. I hope to have a similar moment with Kid Cudi one day
I enjoyed the video. Nice you're showing some Los Angeles photographers since RUclips doesn't have that many Los Angeles street photographers for some reason. Hollywood is a good place to find interesting people to photograph. I already followed Jeremy on Instagram and notice he hasn't posted anything in a while.
"the photo they settled to take". That hits home so hard. I do settle. Thank you for calling that out. ✊
8:40
Justine is that you?
7:54 ah america, where you can just take pictures of strangers, if they want or not. must be a dream.
I believe lost of us do that, but realizing that you do that is the first step to sobriety😉🤙
Man................................... :(

I appreciate that he's reckless but not invading people's space. He makes smart use of high density of people in the same public space.

Jeremy is a true artist! Completely devoted to his craft
waiting for this guy for so long... thank you, Paulie, thank you Jeremy
He’s right … it’s so much more fun when you don’t care
I was kind of doubting his methods at first, but, as the episode went on, I really grew to appreciate the guy and his work. Thanks for the vid, Paulie!

I really love how honest he is about the inner turmoil street photography can make you feel. He is so great. Thank you both!
The effort you put in to these videos are appreciated. Paulie, you are a Legend!

With a lot of these photos he seems to be at the right place at the right time. JUST FASCINATING!!
Dude has great flow. Has such confidence, like the best folks on walkie talkies.
This guy is legit!!! One of the best in this series so far
OMG!!!! a walkie talkie with one of my favo street photographers. Im so hyped!!!!!!!!!!
5 minutes in, I already like this guy.
Watching him work is hilarious and entertaining.
Been waiting. on this one and it did not disappoint. It's always nice to hear Jeremy talk about his work.
One of the nicest guys I've ever met. Love Jeremy's pictures!
Love Jeremy and love seeing the West Coast/California in the series ❤
That girl at the end giving the finger, hilarious!
Thank you so much for interviewing Los Angeles street photographers. I don't see as many videos here in socal so this is super nice to see others approach in this city in particular.
the images this guy took that they featured in this video are mindblowing;
Every other walkie talkie, "I take pictures because... I have to." Jeremy: "I'm bored" 😂
Loved this guys work ever since I found him on IG a couple years ago, one of the very few photographers where I'll keep going back to their IG just to see their photos again.
Prob the most anticipated episode
This is my favorite episode yet, and that's a lot to say. Congrats!
I saw a video about Jeremy 3ish years ago that got me into the whole street scene. His eye and timing is amazing. Very cool to see how his approach has changed since then.

One of your best videos yet. This guy is a super interesting and kind person. His photography isn't bad, either.
Wow I love his photos! Great episode Paulie thanks again 🙏 walkie-talkie talkie is the best thing on RUclips
He is genuinely genius. Sporadic energy, that’s creative energy at work. Just running through em. Fun to watch
Great interview, Paulie. Jeremy has a really cool and laid back perspective on photography that I appreciate.
So good had to watch it twice maybe one more time
i like this guy. seems very genuine and just shoots to have fun. he gets his steps in and carries a camera
1 of the most original modern-day photographers that i have seen. Classic artist
Jeremy’s pics are actually insane. Super stoked for this one.
We also need episodes on dov and andrwsnapd in Toronto!!!!
Honestly incredible watching Jeremy shoot. Constantly amazed.
Became very familiar w/ this guy’s stuff for a while on ‘gram - very cool to not only see him and his personality for the first time but also how he interacts w/ his surroundings and thinks about his art and the world.
"I don't try to make my presence unknown. I just try and control my energy".......real.
So awesome to hear the story behind the spitting photo, been wondering ever since he shared it
Been waiting for this one! Can’t wait to watch it 👌🏻
GREAT episode Paulie. Been following Jeremy’s beautiful work for a while. Also, I’m a fellow Nikon F4 user, so props to that.
one of my favorites, stoked for this one!
It's almost like he's oblivious to how great his work is. Excellent interview!
I'm sorry, but no. It's kinda clear it's the opposite. This guy is so confident in his work that he doesn't need to brag in the slightest. His excellence is evident in the work.
(tho I agree he comes off as really down to earth and likable, which is what I think you were also saying)
Great episode. I like how you let the guest speak and then subtly guide/ask more questions.
Walkie Taklie is such an underrated series.
Watched it twice and will probably watch it a couple more times. One of the most interesting photographers/walkie-talkies, very inspiring!
This is super inspiring ! Love how he has fun. Def one of my fav episodes I didn’t want it to end !
photos are fire, great video, thank you for what you do
lots of great shared thoughts and bits in here that are good to keep in mind, awesome episode, real talented guy

wow, this guy is so talented! great photos, great interview - thanks!
I can kinda hear the frustration in his speech about the culture and the hobby, but also just how much he loves it. And the natural feelings he gets for photos. Really digging these walkie-talkie episodes.
Jeremy is a cool guy overall! I love his photos and opinions on stuff
I know this man and his work, but he’s such a likable and honest human. Love this episode. The only think is you have missed to ask about camera, lens and film choice. My guess is 24 mm, Nikon one the last film cameras and porta 400. Not that matter at all, it’s just we all are curious about 😂
It doesn't matter but we're still pausing and enlarging the frame 😂 not discussing the elephant in the room is part of the fun in these clips
really love Jeremy's work, so hyped to see this one! thanks for the free month of skillshare too i havent been able to afford it so its gonna be a long month of learning and growth
Really enjoyed this episode Paulie! I really like Jeremy’s work and street attitude. Lots to learn from this episode!
George Constanza energy on this guy 😂 I love it 👌
Good Time Ice is just … incredible ✨
Awesome episode!!! Already watching it a second time
34:54 I'm not the only one that sees the person spawn in and start walking in the middle of the crosswalk? Right? 👽
This is topping the list of best walkie talkies. So nice to hear a different answer that "because I have to" as well.
Watching this I couldnt help but feel an incredible amount of joy and happiness for you. So happy for you man. I hope to have a similar moment with Kid Cudi one day
Subbed to Patreon to see it early now I’m rewatching it 😅 I’m a Jeremy fan for sure
His photos were my favorite so far from the Walkie Talkies I have seen. Good interview.

I enjoyed the video. Nice you're showing some Los Angeles photographers since RUclips doesn't have that many Los Angeles street photographers for some reason. Hollywood is a good place to find interesting people to photograph. I already followed Jeremy on Instagram and notice he hasn't posted anything in a while.
breath of fresh air
I found this video deeply moving. I am not sure quite why, but it made a difference to me. Thank you.
What a marvellous episode!
Great episode. Such of what Jeremy said resonates. Keep up the good work Mr. B 🫡
Great work on this episode loved it guys.
damn. what Jeremy says at 19:47 really hits home. It's very VERY true. Great videos, as always.
