I've been sleeping on Paulie B's photography. Damn man! He puts so much energy into pumping up other photographers (thank you for this), it seems I've/he's overshadowed his own photos. Paulie is the real deal.
Thanks again for sharing, to the both of you!
this guy has great photos, he should make a youtube channel talking& walking with other street photographers
That’s actually not a bad idea…..
Paulie could call the show something like, I’m just spitballing here; Walkie Talkies.
I've been waiting years for Walkie Talkie to be turned on the creator
Paulie be the most influential Street photographer at the moment. I've learnt about so many different Street photographers through his RUclips.
Your interview shows that he's a thinker and thinks alot about his photography.
This is an interview that we and Paulie needed!
I support Filipino artists ❤🇵🇭
Good
I feel like no one ever brings up Scott Schuman & Bill Cunningham. I know their work is more editorial but they worked the NYC streets for decades.
Excactly! don't be hard on yourself. As HCB said, "your first 10000 pictures are your worst" ,and he said it when everyone shoot film. i guess make it 100000 if you shoot digital :)
So Paulie been to college, what degree, and how can he afford a 7000 dollar set up, trust fund baby or what I gota know, not judging and its all good
Lupet nito mga kuya! 🇵🇭 . Thank you for inspiring us and also representing Filipinos in the scene of street photography! Tara, photo-walk if ever you'll visit Manila! ✌🏾
40 minutes to freedom baby
Jeez, some of these photos are amazing. Kid with the rainbow in the fountain blows my mind. Colors are amazing, too. Great work.
Super proud of the representation we have from the both of you ✊️🇵🇭📸
🤘🏽
400 rolls a year sheesh 😮 400 x ($15 a roll (say he has a hookup for portra 800)+$15(develop scanning)) = 😅
35:12 who is Lee Freedman ?
That was Dope to see two Filippino youts reppin the photography community.. 🔥🔥
That was a great interview! Paul always speaks with such wisdom and it's always a pleasure to hear him talk about photography. Great work on putting this together.

It’s a good one for sure!

A brilliant interview 🫶 You guy’s need to visit the UK and look at different styles are created over the pond.
Paulie is such an angel! In the walkietalkies I always loved when he also gave some of his opinions...really love to hear him talk, super refreshing how he managed to put me at ease with the macro prespective @ 31:35

Really cool..so much for you guys. Walkie Talkies are really inspiring fir me as a non professional street photographer. Who's the Kobe photographer that is mentioned and also Dylon ? And where can I find the podcasts?
Excellent interview. Thanks to you an Paulie, I follow both of you. Hello from Colombia.
Paulie B definitely got that goat status . Great interview my. G 👍🏾
Great interview Paulie! What was the ambient music you had on while your photos were showing ?
Does anyone know the song that played while showcasing the photos
Did you use the cinematic settings on the iPhone on some of the side shoot bro?
Must be it, the out of fokus falloff looked weird on/oroande paulie! Not hating tho, just noticed!
Are these interviews on Spotify or podcast platform?
This is so awesome! You have no idea how many videos of these two I saw when I started liking street photography. Thanks for what you do!
Been waiting for this !. Mabuhay 🇵🇭
Something strange happening with the depth of field / out of focus areas
You had a Sat & Chat with Paulie B? Nice
Is Paulie A filipino?
Yes he is
I hope I get to meet Paulie B one day - he seems like a good ass dude!
This man Pauly be workin
why is it so clipped up when you are talking?
Been waiting for this one!
Excited for this one
Great interview @KingJvpes ! Really enjoyed the chat, along with the "pep talk" from Paulie.
I’m new to this genre of photography whatever it’s called. 😂 Capturing life randomly while exploring the streets. I appreciate what you guys are doing! You & Paulie B’s videos are teaching me so much, thanks. Best of luck to everyone
Paulie has been my biggest inspiration within my street photo journey and I can’t thank him enough for all the things he has taught me and continues to teach me ❤
Great video, one note I'd give however is finding a bit more confidence to let the conversation play out. Some of the jump cuts are pretty jarring when you're dealing with a conversation between two people.
This is creating community! Speaks a lot about Paulie that we know more form others photographer´s job because of him, and we barely know about his photos and creations online. Thanks Japes por this, we needed that!
Excellent video guys, my favourite Filipino dish is Caldareta and I recommend Glasgow, Scotland as a great place for photographing street life. Keep up the great work and all the best from sunny Scotland.
Has been the focus/autofocus set in post-processing? Looks so weird/distracting to me.
Interesting video KJ. If Paulie B is taking Walkie Talkie on the road, I'd love to see an episode with Devin Allen.
Flegoy overload from the two of you! Enjoyed the deep dive into street.
Super laid back interview, keep up the good stuff
Great interview
PB & J
As an inspirating street photographer..... Paulie B is amazing.
Great interview! I really enjoyed this episode.
Gotta come to Tucson/Phoenix!!
My two favorite photographers
Q&A and Walkie Talkies are the best.
2:00 this must be staged right? So good
he's literally me, fr! hes me fr fr!!!
Oh shit this dudes good
Thank you for doing these interviews! They are so interesting! I really loved the Trevor Wisecup one. Hope you do more of these!
More to come!
i like to look at the Rules of street photography like this:
Oskar Barnack went out on the street with his leica for the first time, he could have done anything he wanted, asked people to pose or whatever. street photography is the freedom to take a small camera outside and do whatever you want with it.
No. It’s not that. But you can always look it up and learn about it if you’re interested in it. You’ll see how ironic it is that you mentioned posing. 😀
