Y’all if you enjoyed this episode drop a huge like to show your support!! Also comment down below what setup you’re rocking this weekend! Thanks for tuning in gang 🙏🏽🔥
I'm a little late to the party, but I'm using my beloved Leica M4-P with Portra 400, Gold 200, or HP5+ and my trusty Mamiya 645 1000s with mostly the same film stocks.
Love this video, people really do love their setup, and it shows. Part of why film is amazing-- digital seems like maximizing specs so we tend to see the same five cameras over and again. With the exception of Leica, the vast diversity of film cameras here seem unique and very personal. Film is very much alive!! And as for your question, RB67 w/127mm and Portra 160 (considering pushing 2 stops)
I'm shooting with my two eyeballs, which is probably about 50k resolution or more, and the film I'm using is brain power, it has about a ba-gillion exposures until I die 😂 love you videos keep it up bro:)
I’m loving seeing all of the different videos covering this event from each creator. Currently I’m juggling too many open rolls: RB67 - Cinestill 400D (135 panos) Canon Ti - Ultramax (Frugal film challenge) Minolta XG9 - Cinestill 800T Bronica ETRS - HP5+ (pushed 1 stop) Olympus LT Zoom 105 - Ultramax (redscaled)
It‘s a bit like a car show for photographers. I love it. Currently I’m testing two newbies: Konica A4 and Canonet 28, both with Ilford HP5 plus and my trusty Minolta Hi-Matic E with Kodak Gold.
GREAT video my man! I'm heavily invested in Canon FD glass for video production, so naturally I have a few Canon bodies as well; my favorite being the FTb (I have a few videos about it on my channel - and a bunch more in the works). Lens-wise I really love the 135mm f2.5 SSC. As far as film goes I shoot whatever I can get my hands on these days, haha. Cheers
I’m loving the vibes of the video. I’m shooting on two bodies right now: Mamiya Press Super 23 (6x9 back) 100mm; 3.5 with Cinestill BWxx and the Mamiya 645 1000s/80mm 2.8 with PORTRA 400.
My dad just showed me his father's RevueFlex 1000 S. I am not sure what film is currently in there as its old and my dad is letting me try it out and get an understanding of it but I believe its an ASA 400 film (maybe Kodak) with an Auto Revuetar 50mm f2.8 lense.
Great video as always. I’m shooting Minolta Dynax 7000i (gotta be in the Minolta gang 😀) with 35-70mm f3.5-4.5 loaded with Gold 200. It’s my first film camera, they work good and are dirt cheap.
Great, great, great episode, and great idea to do, please do more of these, it will surely rise interest in all of us to see what other people are using, and also see their enthusiasm while talking about our (also) favorite cameras
Excellent video. Depending on the scenario I'm either shooting with my Leica M3, Nikon F, Olympus stylus Epic 80 Zoom or Mamiya RB67. My film stock of choice is CeniStill 400 and Portra 400.
Awesome to see so many passionate photographers using so many different cameras. Personally I have so many favourite cameras, rangefinder so far would be my Oly 35SP, SLR would be my Pentax Spotmatic and the Minolta Dynax 9, medium format would be my Bronica ETR, and the Voigtlander Bessa 2 folder, digital it has to be my Leica Q2 I'm new to Leica and love shooting this camera every day. Great episode enjoyed that cheers
Theres a lot of options out there for alternatives for a Leica, but the 35SP was my choice aswell and man does it deliver. After seeing this video my want for a leica continues to be zero lol.
@@ThomasBurchett-u8o good on ya mate, have to say I resisted the Leica urge for so long, finally got the Q2, it's pretty amazing, I still love the Oly tho' and I'm just trying a Zorki 4, first Impressions are pretty good.
Another great video, and I'm not just saying that because you included me and my beloved camera :) Cheers from Chicago and keep up the good work! Peace.
I've got some ilford sfx in my zenit as i run a test rollof kentmere through my new Fed 2. Running through the cheap FSUs as i relearn everything in camera and get my developing down.
this is so cool!! awesome to see some many photographers hanging out out together!! makes me sad that you're all the way over in America though because I would jump in and join you all in a heart Beat If I could!!
Nice to see a fellow OM-1 user! Also special mention to the guy with the Petri rangefinder, theres a whole bunch well-made RF's out there for a steal. And you don't have to pay the leica/nikon s/canon p RF tax :)
Lately I shoot with two special cameras for me. I got both as gifts. One is Asahi Pentax S3 that came with Super Takumar 55mm f2 lens. That camera is special because it was gold plated for one Yugoslavian actor that my friend know. He bought it from him long time ago and gifted it to me because I collect Pentax cameras mostly. Other one is Contax RTS Quartz II that came with Planar 50mm f1.4 and Sonnar 135mm f2.8 lenses. It came as gift from one old photographer that I met few years ago. It was his personal camera back in the days when only film was available 😅
A up! I'm shooting with a Walz Envoy 35 loaded with HP5, FM2 and Orwo expired in '84 and the laudest shutter in existence... so far ... Bronica C with some HP5 as well. That's for this week, next week I'll switch with something else from my humble collection. Great videos, BTW.
Great video! This event is so cool, must have been really fun to roam around and explore the city. btw Trev is not the only M5 lover! I love my black M5 and am currently rocking it with a 1.2 Nokton III and some casual 200 Gold. But I must admit I find the silver version to be pretty ugly, the black one is a beauty though.
Just caught this on RUclips. Really inspiring to see what you guys are all using. I shoot film when I can using a Yashica 124g, a Werra 1, Voitlander Vito B and the amazing Olympus XA.
Most current photography is mostly Ilford FP4 Plus in my Burke & James 5x7 or Ilford HP5 Plus in my Burke & James 4x5 monorail. I also recently shot Kodak Tri-X in my Minolta 800si and half a roll in my Konica Big Mini point 'n shoot. Props to the Petri rangefinder. I have a slightly later model with a big "bug eye" selenium cell light meter -- that is still accurate! Lovely camera, desperately needs a CLA.
Super video. Variety was fun to see. I was suprised to see a Petri. I started with a Petri 7s in 1965. Later, 1969, bought a Petri fe. Loved that camera. My last film camera is, still have it, a Minolta SrT 202. Now I have a Nikon D750. I REALLY MISS FILM. I shot slide on back then.
Pentax 6x7 MLU with the 105mm f/2.4 and 55mm f/3.5with Silberra 100 are my jam, but today I actually took out my RB67 along with my one week old to me M240.
lol I feel for the girl who said her Big Mini isn't working... I've gone through 2 of them. One just looks like it's massively underexposing... tempted to try and push a roll 3 stops. If they were reliable it'd be my favorite camera.
I have so many film cameras what I am shooting with changes often. Right now I am shooting alot with my Rolleiflex 3.5 (type K). It is one of my favorites. One of my favorites for 35mm street photography is my Foca Sport II which is a French rangefinder and the Braun Super Paxette.
Right now I'm shooting with a Nikon FM2n that I inherited from my uncle and with Nikkor 50mm f1.8 AI-S Pancake lens, and comes along with a Canon EF which is like the sturdiest camera I've ever own. Currently I'm trying out different Kodak color film stocks but I would love to try out some black and white films in the future!
Loved the video. I rotate through my cameras, so no camera sits on the shelf too long. Right now, I am shooting: * Contax G2 (black) with the Carl Zeiss Planar 45mm f2 T* and Kodak Tri-X 400 * Contax G1 (silver/Titanium) with the Carl Zeiss Biogon 21mm f2.8 Tx and Kodak Tri-X 400.
Bit late to the party, and that was some party, 🎉 but I'm currently shooting with my Yashica LM TLR + Kodak Ektar 100, and Lomo LC-Wide + Lomo400. Cool video, thank you. 😊
very interesting the different cameras people have thank you as always, i have started comparing folding 120 cameras as i am a collector of cameras for over 30 years
Respect to the guy with the OM-1; the OM system rocks (I have the OM-1 and the amazing OM-4ti). FYI, the Petri is a Japanese camera, many of which were manufactured in Okinawa while it was under US occupation in the 1960s (I have one). Respect to that guy too for knowing a good value. And props to Grainy Days Jason for finally publicly calling his Fuji TX-1 a TX-1 and not an “Xpan” just because somehow “Xpan” boosts street creds and/or self-esteem. After all, it was Fuji that manufactured both versions (I proudly have a TX-1). As for the Leica sheep, *yawn*.
I'm both a OM fan and Leica sheep, owning an OM-1 (and recently, an OM-2SP just because the seller would only sell the 28mm f2.8 to me as a kit with this camera), meanwhile also using a Leica M5 (with a broken bottom plate lock, but still usable though) and a IIIf (this one needing CLA).
Wow, looked like a very fun event. Glad you were there to bring it to us. After being recently inspired by you and other RUclips film shooters, I am currently running the affordable Fujifilm 200 to function and light seal test my Nikon FE and FE2 bodies with one Nikkor AI lens (50 1.4) and three Nikkor AIS lenses (28 2.8, 105 2.5, 80-200 4.0). Hopefully all are working fine. After testing, I will likely transition to Kodak Ektar 100, and a yet-to-be-determined ISO 400 stock. Back in the day, I would shoot Kodachrome 64. Loved those reds! Keep up the great work!
Looked like fun. Wish something like this would pop up in the San Antonio area. Right now I’m shooting JCH 400 out of my Praktica LB2 that I call my lil’ AK. And FPP X Ray 120 out of my Yashica D TLR.
My cameras are Canon F1 with a motor drive (5 off) FD1.4 50mm lens. Ilford delta 400, HP5, and Portra 400. I also use a Mamiya RB67 with Ilford HP5, and Portra 400.
Tomorrow for a portrait shoot I’m breaking out the ‘89 Canon EOS RT , love the pellicle mirror ! Running some Cinestill 400D behind the 50mm f1.4 and I’ll probably bring the Fuji Natura black with some Portra 800 in it. Great video, love seeing what people are shooting with!
Recently, I purchased one of my dream cameras, a Nikon F3 with 50mm F1.4 and 85mm F2 lenses with an MD-4 motor drive. The film, Ilford ASA 400 36. My desired camera is a Rolliflex TLR.
I really love that Dave and I are shooting the same camera right now. The canon rebel ti is an underated camera that is slipping under the rader and i love it! Multiple exposure, full manual mode, 7 auto focus points. If you play your cards right you can snag a body and a 50mm lens for under 40 bucks rn.
Love seeing the variety of different cameras, pretty wild the assortment! I currently shoot with a Leica TL2 as my main camera and a film Seagull 205 rangefinder (rare chinese RF). That one’s for the slow days because I need to use an handheld meter
Shooting Leica M5 with a Leica Summicron-C 40/f2 and the most beautiful camera in the world and worlds first popular SLR camera the Asahi Pentax AP w/50 1.8
I shot Ektar 100 with Nikon F-301 and Voigtlander 58mm f/1.4 Now it's Agfa APX 400, with Kiev-4a and standard Jupiter-8 50mm f/2 lens, shooting at 200 though
I would say def think about a stick mic for something like this. Kind of cheesy aesthetic but they work really well for these loud environments. Audio was a struggle for me watching this video. Could also have them clip a lav on real quick. But I get trying to keep the casual vibe.
I'm a bit of a gear hoarder, mostly because I'm known as "the camera guy" by some locals and people just keep giving me boxes of crap. That being said, the cameras I use the most are cameras I bought myself: Canon EOS-1n and EOS 300 (I have several, they're light and when one of my friends wants to try film it's the camera I borrow them, with the 50mm plastic fantastic). There's a FED-3 that sees semi-regular use. Furthermore: Konica C-35 and Auto S3, several Prakticas. For Medium format: Pre-war Voigtländer Bessa, Fujica G690 BLP and the venerable Yashica 124G (which might be my favorite camera ever). Why so many different cameras? Cameras are neat. Shooting different cameras is a different experience. It's like using different pens when drawing.
My favorite is a nikon f6 with acros 100, tmax 400 or portra 400. Same for the f100 and the f5 I am selling. Fm2n, FE the same. I love my mamiya 645 pro tl for portraiture and street ilford Fp4 and 3200 and of course portra 400 printing up to 20". Mamiya RB 67 with portra 400 is glorious, fp4. 3200 when I want to print 20" or larger.
Today I used a Franka Solida III with Fomapan 100. Thats the one with the built in non-coupled rangefinder.

Awesome video for camera enthusiasts! I’d love to see a list with everyone’s names 😬 Btw. I’m using my trusty Canon t90 with a 28mm, and mostly Fuji Superia 400 😊
All I have is AH 400 and kruitvat 200 both expired lol. film is expensive these days. I also got too many cameras so I'm still trying to pick out which I want to shoot with. Last one I had was the Miranda Fv with a 5mm 1.9. If I can manage to get my Rollei 35 to work again I might shoot with that one.
love to see people who are passionate about photography currently shooting street with canon ae-1 and 35mm lens. I shoot bnw only rn and I'm experimenting with pushing different film stocks
OK, let me get a towel to wipe the drool from my desk first 😁 Right now, it's my trusty Nikon F90x loaded with some very expired Photolab branded film (it's just some Fuji Superia) and a new to me Pentax PC35AF (manual wind version) with some Fomapan 400. I know... boring... but I also have an experimental hand made camera waiting for me on my desk.
Fun video to watch ! I shoot with Leica M6 /summarit 35mm, Canon Ftb QL 50mm, Canon T70, Canon EOS 1V. All BW film, usually Tri X 400 and Ilford Fp4 Plus 125. Nice to participate. Warm Greetings from Switzerland !!!

I’ve recently bought my Nikkormat LE with the 50mm f/1.4 lens, a 35-70mm f/3.5 lens and fujifilm 200 :)
Great to see so many film camera users!!
HORSEMAN CONVERTIBLE 35mm insert & mask (65x24)
Ilford Delta 400 (EI 320)
I’m shooting with a Leica M7, & 28 crown, also… a Mamiya 645, pro TL, with 50mm 2.8 - Ilford HP5 (Mostly)
Shooting Leica M5 with a Leica Summicron-C 40/f2 and the most beautiful camera in the world and worlds first popular SLR camera the Asahi Pentax AP w/50 1.8
love seeing a petri f1.9! Those are great rangefinders
Pentax MX 50mm f1.4 with HP5+ (my third ever film roll!!!)
I’m on Missoula, MT right now (from Chicago). Shooting with my Canon A-1 with Kodak Gold 200.
I currently have a k1000 with a 55/2 and some Fuji 400 color I got at Walmart.
I shot Ektar 100 with Nikon F-301 and Voigtlander 58mm f/1.4
Now it's Agfa APX 400, with Kiev-4a and standard Jupiter-8 50mm f/2 lens, shooting at 200 though
I'm going with Olympus before I even start watching....
I'm currently shooting a roll of Ilford HP5 in my Canon EOS 500n (Rebel G)
I’m shooting with a Minolta X700 and special edition Rollei Paul & Reinhold ISO640 B&W film
Thanks for the video. Nikon F3 28mm f/2 Cinistill 800t and Tri-X 400
It was an absolute blast to get to meet you!
I’d love to see a list with everyone’s names 😬
Btw. I’m using my trusty Canon t90 with a 28mm, and mostly Fuji Superia 400 😊
The t90 is such a joy to shoot. Mine's away getting serviced right now. I miss it. But this time apart will help me enjoy it for several more years.
I shoot either a Nikon F or F2 with Kodak gold 200. Also, I use a Mamiya RB67 pro S with Portra 160.
I shoot a few different cameras depending on the mood but I almost always load it up with Fomapan 100 these days.
Cool vid man! Thank you 🙏🏽
My go to is the black Leica mp & 35 summicron 😎
love to see people who are passionate about photography
currently shooting street with canon ae-1 and 35mm lens.
I shoot bnw only rn and I'm experimenting with pushing different film stocks
Love this video! Nikkormat ft2 w/ Ektar 100 and Rebel Ti w/ Portra 400!
I'm surprised how little love Nikon had in this video. Cameras like the FE2 are so feature rich, small and cheap.
OK, let me get a towel to wipe the drool from my desk first 😁
Right now, it's my trusty Nikon F90x loaded with some very expired Photolab branded film (it's just some Fuji Superia) and a new to me Pentax PC35AF (manual wind version) with some Fomapan 400.
I know... boring... but I also have an experimental hand made camera waiting for me on my desk.
Fun video to watch ! I shoot with Leica M6 /summarit 35mm, Canon Ftb QL 50mm, Canon T70, Canon EOS 1V. All BW film, usually Tri X 400 and Ilford Fp4 Plus 125. Nice to participate. Warm Greetings from Switzerland !!!
Looks like an awesome event!
I shoot with a Nikon F3, 50mm 1.8 or 28mm 2.8. For film its mostly Fuji Superia 400, Kodak Gold 200 and Portra 800.
