Jeff doing amazing 👏 great vocal. Band needs to back themselves and play more recent songs in setlist.. 2 last albums are solid...would be great to hear live... otherwise just a touring greatest hits tribute band
Agreed 100%. Perdida is an album I consider a masterpiece and something they could not have done with their two previous singers. I'd pay very good money to see them play that entire album in an intimate live venue.
They played Meadow but the problem is that most people only recognize their first 4-5 albums before the break-up. Their more recent music is great though, so I definitely agree it should get into the setlist
They sound incredibly good here. The recording is good, I’m sure the PA is too, but the band is playing so well together! This sounds heavier than some heavy metal concerts I’ve seen recently. :-)
He has an amazing good voice. New album before peridida real good. I believe the show co attacks the artists. From Jimmy hendx on.. prob have insurance on them if they fail.like tom cruise in that Vietnam tropic thunder war movie by Ben stiller.learn alot from him. Stiller and Mera.Great. I still luv their art original albums.
They've got two excellent albums (2018 & 2022) with Jeff Gutt on vocals, but for some reason they aren't playing them live (except for Meadow). Their newest album, Perdida, is especially fantastic, but completely unlike anything they've done previously. I wish they would've done a special tour to support that album, but the fans probably would have rebelled if they didn't play the old hits. They're in a kind of tough spot like Fleetwood Mac found themselves where the fans didn't want to hear anything they made before Nicks and Buckingham joined the band, but in reverse.
They picked an excellent replacement who sounded amazing. I saw STP in the 90's and Weiland was so fucked up on drugs he sounded like shit. Jeff actually sounded better then Scott. His stage presence is clearly not his own. But who really cares he sctually did a good job imitating Scott. Being a replacement cant be easy. So much ridicule to endure. At least the new singer does the songs justice. Good job STP...
Yeah it sucks he’s gone, they gotta make a living. Scott unfortunately made his choice and got caught up in the drugs. They are not the same without him, so I can’t blame them for doing what they do.
The band sounds fantastic and their replacement Jeff serves the songs well. Sadly Scott passed. Glad the other guys can go out and rock the songs they wrote for fans that want to see them play. World class musicians. They would still be in arenas if Scott could have managed his addictions.
No Scott was one 4th of STP & he let his weakness ruin the band & take his life. Not anyone's fault but his own. They don't have to roll over because he did. Those songs are every bit as much there's as Scott's.
I saw them when I was in college in the 90s. Still sound great and the new singer is really awesome. Hopefully they visit Pennsylvania.
So tame now
They sound amazing !!
Guitar player is smoooooth.......great band...
Im 15 years old! Yeaaaaaaaaah!
Jeff sounds awesome here and the band is incredible! Thanks for posting.😊

This is great. Thanks for this
I saw them May 08 in Cleveland on the way back from London to Perth. Epic. My best live music memory of all time.
Sounds good.

Jack Bates who plays bass for the Pumpkins watching on the left side of stage 6:29
Love STP, I got to meet Eric at Hard Rock Biloxi Ms. Very cool dude.
WHAT A GREAT FCKN GUITAR PLAYER !!!!!!@

As much as I dig the band - I saw them in '96 - this is a nostalgia set. I wish they were creating more new stuff...
Their catalog is stunning. Glad they’re playing what the fans want to hear. They do sprinkle in a couple new ones.

Meadow is a great track...
Anybody know what kind of guitars the yellow/gold one and the blue one are that Dean played? Not Gibsons, but similar. Thanks
I believe that the gold one is actually a gibby les paul special.
the yellow one is a epiphone special p1
Looks like Graham Bonnet fronting…
Jeff is good- his albums are quality 👌👌
Holy smokes- you're right!
More like Max Headroom 😂😂😂
@@crackert5176 c’mon now lol
@18:13 "Meadow" Kindly asking which album this is from?
Their second self-titled which came out in 2018. It's the first album with Jeff, the singer in this video.
@@gnrledzep4evaThought She’d Be Mine is the best track on that album
Who were they touring with?
The smashing pumpkins 👀🌊🏄♂️🌊😁🎸👂😎

Not STP!! Stop trying to act like Scott ! Be Yourself!!
А что им было делать..? Скот злоупотреблял, потом умер, этот вокалист норм, но за ним незримо стоит тень Скота.. Мир праху его. Голос поколения!!!
5:26 They need second guitar player Vasoline sound weak
Joe Biden is an awesome new lead singer for STP, love it so much
I can’t unsee that now. 🤣
LOL!
🤢🤮 nobody’s come near close to Scott Weiland !!
Who would imagine that Joe Biden is a rock singer?
Much love and thanks to Eric and the DeLeo brother's. But without Scott they're just another cover band
They should call themselves Old Temple Pilots
It's like an STP cover band with the original musicians. Better fit than Chester, RIP.
Sorry, they’re no longer the stone temple pilots. Scott Weiland was the stone temple pilots let’s be real. This is lame.
Gotta make the money sadly, it's pathetic.
Yeah it sucks he’s gone, they gotta make a living. Scott unfortunately made his choice and got caught up in the drugs. They are not the same without him, so I can’t blame them for doing what they do.
I kinda agree man. Their singer seems like he’s trying way too hard to pull off Scott. He comes off douchy to me.
