I just love 💕 Natasha’s formula. It’s so accessible(more do than Pat), although not all color stories work for me. I think I DO want this one as well. The black shade is better for liner or under duochromes than the lash liner shade in the Glam palette. I got rid of the actual Love palette but reserved most of the pans, swapped a few out in the Retro palette and created a custom cool/neutral pinkish palette.

It is impossible even to keep up with all the new releases! Only if I were a millionaire I would buy them all, at least from my favorite make-up brands like ND. But unfortunately I am not a millionaire 🤣

Hey, Allie! Little tip for avoiding sunburn: Check the weather app on your phone. If the UV Index is 3 or higher, you need sunscreen and you need to reapply after every 2 hours in the sun. Hope this helps!

This palette and her glam palette are two palettes I think would be the best choice if you owned one only. Her glam palette is mostly cool toned but neutrals and this is like a rose neutrals.

I really appreciate your closing comments Allie. It's a much more responsible way of doing product reviews, and it shows that you understand "real people's" needs and circumstances. Personally I only owned 2 Natasha Denona minis for a while, and never felt compelled to pick up a bigger palette. However this one spoke to me on a "soul level" as you say: the color story isn't one I have in my collection (the closest I have is the Modern Renaissance which, while similar vibes, isn't at all a dupe for this one). These colors also look amazing on my hazel brown/green eyes and warmer skin tone. So I felt like this could be a justified purchase for me. I've since also picked up the Sunrise palette, because I used to own a much cheaper dupe and loved it, and the Sunrise was on sale. It also filled a void for a bright-coloured summer palette that I can also use throughout the year. I own enough makeup now, so a palette needs to be one where I know I'll use every single color, and it needs to fill a space where I feel I can add something, rather than being a repetition on the same theme. I find that if you just give it a bit of time, a brand will inevitably come out with something you can get great use out of. And I think it should also feel inspiring, like, if you look at a palette, you feel excited to use it . I find that with these kinds of stipulations, I've been spending a lot less money on my makeup and using it a lot more!

What beautiful fall colors for the eyeshadow palette!
I've not seen My Dream palette IRL, but from pictures it seems like a few of the colours are pretty similar to those in other palettes. I'm not good with purple and mauves, so I'm sitting on the fence at the moment. Glam is my all time favourite palette which I've used more times than you can shake a stick at. If you would do a few more looks, you may yet convince me 🤔.

I am a 65-year-old woman and things have changed so much since I first started wearing makeup back in the early seventies! But there's one question that I have been asking over and over again but no one has answered it for me and that is 'what is meant by a color story?' There are so many beautiful eyeshadow palettes and I can't make sense of what is being meant when you say color story. Will someone please help me out? I love you Allie, I have learned so much watching your videos I just wish I was younger to be able to pull off the looks that you create. Oh well I can dream still 🌟♥️ By the way, for your sunburn there has been a lot of solar flares coming to us and those bursts are very powerful, so that might be the reason for your sunburn, just a thought. 🌞

I just purchased this pallet so I would love to see more looks. I was on the fence until I saw it in person but it is an investment. I do love all of her pallets but the glam one is my favorite because I can get ready quick using it. I have other cheek blushes that look great , but I am on the fence about the lipstick since I just purchased some other brands. Love this look! 😊

I have this eyeshadow palette and the lip trio. I like the eyeshadow, but I wish there were a much lighter shade in the palette to use in the inner corner and browbone. There are a few very similar mid-tone colors in the palette that could have been replaced with a lighter shade. Regarding the lip trio, I am pretty fair, and the Natasha shade is a little too light for me and makes me look washed out. I would appreciate a deeper coordinating lip shade. As far as the most versatile Natasha Denona eye shadow palette, I actually prefer Retro to Glam. Retro is WAY more versatile than you would think at first glance. You can use the neutrals/beiges/browns in it to create looks that have absolutely no pink/purple in them at all. (Example: Nude Mauve in the crease, Jude all over the lid, and Apart to deepen the crease/outer third. It is a gorgeous fall look!) I have the Glam palette, too, but reach for Retro much more often.
I love how the eyeshadow looks in the pan, but I’m worried that it’s more of a warm-toned palette, so I’m on the fence about it.

Congratulations on your pregnancy! I'm so excited for you & your husband! I remember another YT review that said that Serenity was in the Star(?) palette. That was based on the number by the color. Googled before I posted: 114DC is called Supernova in the Star palette. Supernova (2020) 114DC is listed as a top dupe for Serenity114DC on Temptalia. I hope that helps!

I was in a Sephora recently - it was the first real-size Sephora in my life. And I had a mission to get one nice palette. I swatched the ND ones and can admit their special features. Yet these features were totally not for me. Even when metallics and shimmers look literally like OMG WHAT - they just don't suit my aesthetics, my style.
The one I picked though was the Better Than Chocolate from Too Faced. The brand I didn't even consider as an option. And all because the "right" tones of matts and fairly magical shimmers and toppers.
So yeah, I definitely recommend one to swatch the palette if it is possible before you actually invest.

So gorgeous 😍 i would love to see a comparison between this dream cheek palette and the blush and cream highlight from her glam face and eye palette. Would also be super curious to know if the cream blush in the dream face palette have a kind of cream to powder feeling like the one in the glam palette does.
I’d love to see you do other looks with it. This is my first Natasha Denona palette that I’ve ever bought because it seemed so useable for everyday. But I find myself just defaulting to one or two looks. Would love to be inspired to do other looks.
