I have been doing my eyes before face for 40 years. Not only do I avoid the fallout issue, I also can sharpen my eye shadow line with my foundation and concealer.
I’m 59 and have ALWAYS done my eye shadow first. Liner next, then foundation then concealer than powder then blush, then mascara and then lips. I’m talking since 1977! Famous makeup artists at the time recommended this.
In case you’re keeping track…I received my classic lilac bag and loved it. Now I’ve ordered the full lilac bag and two tool bags. Can’t wait to get them! I would recommend to anyone who loves makeup and Allie! ❤😊
The Ethereal Eyes palette is so beautiful but I was very easily able to put together an almost identical color story from my existing collection and unfortunately no reviews have convinced me the Mario formula is life changing enough to spend the money on it.

You should do a top 5 or 10 CC creams! I’ve been trying to get into not too coverage foundations and I would love to try Cc creams. Drugstore is preferred.

My rosacea drives the look. That's why I do the face first - if the rosacea flares up bad and I can't cover it very well, my eyeshadow colors will change. Also, I tend to use more shimmer shades and a darker, stronger brow when the rosacea's bad, to draw the attention to my eyes and away from the cheeks. Love the video, Allie!

I was gifted the Bobbi brown face primer and it definitely made my makeup look better. My makeup started to look patchy and peel, I’m guessing since my skin got drier in the colder season.
The highlighter you used was so pretty on you! I also loved the tone and undertone of the bronzer because I have a similar skin tone as yours and some warmer bronzers can look muddy and just too much for me. Loved the final look you created.
