I love that you just picked up things YOU were interested in and not just what’s the new new. Always love when you do a full face of nothing new or what your reaching for on the daily! ❤
Hi Allie! The O’Keefe’s Working Hands Cream (the one in a tube/bottle, not the tin) is my absolute favorite! It’s not greasy (which I hate in other hand creams) and makes my hands feel so soft and supple. I apply a thick layer of it on my hands/elbows every single night before bed and wake up with baby smooth skin, it’s amazing!! 🥰
@@bernypowers8534 yes, ditto!! i’m on accutane right now and the o’keefe’s lip balm is the only thing that is doing anything for my lips rn. i’ve gone through more of them than i can count 😅
The L’Occitane hand cream is amazing! I’m a nurse and wash my hands all day, and this is the cream I keep at my desk! Also, randomly, the Bath and Body Works hand butter is awesome!
You should totally check out the Swedish Dreams/Sven Drom Seaweed hand creme. I worked in a commercial fish cannery & on commercial fishing boats for years & really struggle with dry hands & the feeling of dry hands drives me crazy. I got a sample size in my Xmas stocking last year & went & got the full size the next week. Soooo good, thick & starts out greasy but totally sinks in & just leaves soft hydrated hands within a minute.
I’ve got really bad allergies to hand soap/ borax/ cleaning products but they can’t always be avoided and I’ve been chemically burned. Medicated creams sting so a very kind nurse gave me a tube of the original L’Occitane hand cream while I was in hospital 15 years ago and it was miracle cream, I’ve never looked back!
Not a fan of Ulta or Sephora, I personally don't shop with them, but I do appreciate the product reviews you provide, so that I have an idea of what's out there if I ever need something! LOVE BareMinerals!!!❤️ Thanks!
@@itsacarolbthing5221 probably because they are pushing a toxic, anti-woman, woke agenda. We don’t need men telling us what it’s like to be a woman while parodying us.
One thing I truly appreciate about you Allie is how much you absolutely love makeup. You can def tell it’s more than just a job to you. It’s as much a passion for you as it is for people like me who love to watch you. Also side note, my mom has super dry hands and she swears by the Jack Black industrial strength hand healer.
I love that you reviewed this palette! It's been on my wish list for a while and I am positive I will be gifting myself it for the holidays. I love the side by side palette so much and no one ever talks about it or the read my mind palette. So underrated.
I love the L'Occitane hand cream. I use the original, BUT they have a trio of the almond, original and lavender in a travel size trio on Ulta and Sephora's website! It's perfect to throw them into your purse, and SO worth it!
The original is awesome, but I think the richer hand balm is even better, especially for very dry skin. It's expensive, but I always get the big tube anyway because it's so worth it. I could also drown in that awesome scent it has and wouldn't even care.
Hi Allie! I love Ahava’s mineral hand cream as well as their dermud line for the winter. I get super dry skin so that really helps me out! Love the video btw❤
She doesn't buy or use indie makeup that I have ever seen. Alter Ego might be an indie brand, but that is all I have seen her use in the 4 years I have been watching her. Not knocking it, but it isn't in her lane. If you are truly interested in Oden's Eye, I would recommend watching Angelica Nyvquist or Heather Austin.
I love adding a completely different color to the lower lash line. It gives the look a whole new story to tell. If you’re still looking for a good hand cream, I actually use my toddlers’ Aveeno baby eczema balm (it’s a bit oily-feeling but truly moisturizes). Bonus, a big tub is perfect for the whole family, including baby. I hope this helps!
As a nurse I wash my hands so much and my personal favorite is the Gold Bond Ultimate Healing Hand Cream it absorbs in seconds, it’s non-greasy and it lasts through hand washing! I love this stuff and I love to use it on my feet when I’m going to wear open toed shoes because it absorbs so quickly it makes my toes and feet look moisturized without the greasiness. It’s the best. I think it’s like $4-5 for a 3oz tube that fits great in my purse.
Allie! I’m obsessed with the gold bond ultimate healing hand cream. It has seven intensive moisturizers, and most importantly it absorbs in seconds and does not leave my palms feeling greasy!
I love Neutrogena Hand Cream, Vaseline unscented lotion, and if really dry, Aquaphor. Nabla is one of my favorite eyeshadow brands currently, I’ve been slowly collecting their Cutie palettes. ❤
So I read through all the hand cream recommendations and I have some very different and multi purpose ones that I swear by. First is Udderly Smooth, it was originally made for cows udders when they are dry, or cracked from milking. Also great for breast feeding nipples. The second is Bag Balm in the green tin, it's more of a salve. I alternate these both in the winter months at night with cotton gloves or aloe infused gloves on top and I'm telling you, miracle workers! Stay blessed
Highly recommend the Swedish Dreams seaweed hand creme. I’ve used both of your rec’s and def get why you like them. The SD seaweed creme is like a mix of those two, starts out thick & salve-like but it sinks in quickly & once it does any greasiness totally disappears & just leaves really soft hydrated hands. I’ve tried soooo many hand cremes from drug store to high end to spa & this one is def HG status.
Hey Allie you should review some Korean makeup! I have been interested in trying some of the foundations, concealers, and cushions and would love to hear your opinion on some brands first. Love you, hope you baby girl is doing great!
So happy to watch this video. I have the Read My Mind Nabla palette and just don’t reach for it very often. Your enthusiasm for the palette has definitely inspired me to pull it back out and use it again. Love your videos, Allie. Your excitement for makeup is contagious.
Aveda Hand Relief! It’s seriously THE BEST hand cream. I can’t live without. I’m a hairstylist, so naturally my hands get extremely dry and cracked. Hand relief and the Aveda Beautifying Composition Oil mixed together cures my dry, cracked hands!! Love your videos, Allie!!
Josie Maran argon oil whipped hand cream is awesome. I am a nurse, and this is what I go to all day long. It sinks in once you put it on. I also use the Dionis Goat Milk lotion, it sinks in and feels less oily than most.
I am so happy that you picked up this palette by Nabla. I live in France and it is really hard and expensive to get products from American Indie brands, and I love when my favorite youtubers try products that are more accessible for me. Thank you so much! And I hope that you are doing well during pregnancy! All the support! Love you so much!
My go-to cream during the day is the Vaseline intensive dry skin repair (in the yellow bottle) since I *hate* my hands feeling greasy during the day. At night, my "heavier" creams that I don't mind using are Glysomed. There is also Cicaplast that I like because even if you wash your hands, it doesn't take it all off. Winter always kills my hands and dries them to the point they crack and bleed
Beautiful Allie! La Roche Posay Cicoplast hand cream is great. I would love to see you sculpt your nose a bit with bronzer. I think that would tie it all together perfectly 😊
Lubriderm Advanced Therapy pump for the nightstand/bathroom (she thicc but she actually penetrates) and Necessaire or Eucerin for the purse 👛 these are must haves! For years I used to struggle with extra dry, cracked skin in the winter (even in LA) but now as long as I “lube up” I’m fine. Be sure to always use right after washing your hands! 💖💖
For hand creams, I use Neutrogena Hydro Boost hand gel cream, and sometimes put something thicker on top to seal it in. I recently got Ahava Deadsea water mineral hand cream in my Ipsy bag and I like it a LOT.
The ultimate hand cream (hands down) is the gold bond ultimate healing hand cream. I live in Munich now but whenever I go home to California I stock up and bring at least 5 of them back with me to Germany. You won’t regret it.
Hey Allie! That Nabla Read My Mind eye palette was actually a buy for me this year, and I am not usually a fan of more expensive makeup. But Jen Phelps demonstrated this palette so perfectly many months ago, and I knew its unique layout would help me build confidence with eyeshadows that wouldn't overwhelm me. The feel of these shadows is luxe, and I'll never regret spending the money on the palette. I use it in different ways at least a couple of times a week, and while my collection would never rival yours, I do have plenty of others to choose from. But the Nabla is my go-to. Loved this video, and now that my nearest Target has an Ulta, I'll be working hard to not spend there until after the holidays - I have road trips planned and the holidays always bring unexpected extra expenses. So thank you for this video. * And my favorite hand cream is actually the Burt's Bees Body Lotion in the Milk and Honey formula. It's thick enough for my hands and has the nicest texture and fragrance. And it's always at the top of the pile in my drawer, proof that it must be working or it wouldn't be at the top! Thanks again!
I love the eye look, with the greens on the bottom. I would absolutely love to see you create a look with the blue /green / browns shades in that pallet please! Love your videos Allie 💙
Hi Allie ~ I love the Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Dry Hand Cream. My hands get very dry in the winter and this really helps. It is my all year round hand cream.
Best hand cream is the Nivea 48 hour. It looks like it might be greasy but it really is light and lasts for a long time. I also use it for body lotion in the winter.
I’m really loving the Necessaire hand cream. It’s not as thick as some creams but I find that it absorbs very quickly into the skin and doesn’t leave a greasy residue. Love the eye look today
My favorites are: For unscented: Vaseline Clinical Care Dry Hands Rescue -or- I also use the Vaseline Clinical Care Extremely Dry Skin lotion as it's very similar to the hand cream and, for me, easier to find. For scent: Capri Blue Volcano (this one is a fine balance for enough to fully moisturize but not so much your hands feel greasy) For extra lush feel: Holo Taco Jojoba Oil Hand Cream (nail polish company started by a RUclipsr (Cristine of SimplyNailogical), if you haven't heard of it before!)
I am disabled and on a limited income. Due to meds I need I have gained weight. I have hair loss due to several stressful things. I told a few close friends that there isn't a lot of things I enjoy anymore soo, with that being said, I LOVE playing in my make-up and I use drug store so I can have even more fun. 🥰❤️ Love the eye look!! Stunning. I always enjoy what you post! I may not comment but I enjoy!! ❤️🥰
Nabla is so under rated and their products are top notch! The longwear stylo eyeliners are my HG liners no transfer, last forever, no smudging just amazing!
I really like the lotions from gold bond for my dry skin!! They’re not super glamorous lol, but you can always get a cute travel bottle to carry if you prefer
Khiel's ultimate strength hand salve(great travel product or in your purse) and good ole Palmer's coco butter lotion with vitamin E are my go to. love them both. I love all things bareMinerals... the blonzers are one of my obsessions.
For a lux hand. cream, I love the Clarins Hand & Nail Treatment Cream. For drug store, I love the CeraVe Therapeutic Hand cream. At night, I use the CeraVe Healing Ointment on the cuticles and any extra dry spots.
Her voice is so soothing and calm, every time i have trouble sleeping I open her youtube channel and i start one of her youtube videos and I would fall asleep immediately
HG hand cream is the Clarins Hand & Nail Treatment Cream…it’s worth the $ because it soaks right in and doesn’t feel greasy but still leaves your skin so moisturized! Comes in a travel size too
Jergens girl!! It's been around forever and it penetrates the skin immediately and so nicely. ❤️☺️ The pallet is gorgeous. It looks gorgeous on you and your eyes look beautiful especially with the touch of color on the under eyes!
The blueish green lash line actually makes your eye color pop a bit more imo - at least on camera, since it kind of matches the blue part of your eyes, it's kind of mesmerizing 😍😍
Hi Allie!! Beautiful look as always!! My favorite hand creams are from Aveda. I had no idea they sell hand creams until a few years ago when I received a gift set for Christmas and since then I've been repurchasing their hand creams ! Their scents are really good and they are so moisturizing but not greasy . Love you girl 💓
I must have this eye palette!! That lip color would look AMAZING with your fall colors video from the other day!!! (Last week maybe?) It was the Anastasia Rose Metals Palette I think, it had browner tones and was just gorgeous!
Best hand lotions: 1. La Roche Posay lipikar triple repair moisturizing cream. My dermatologist recommended this to me and have been using it for a few years 2. O’Keefe’s working hands cream (in the jar). It’s pretty thick and my family swears by it. We find this one is more moisturizing than the one in the tube, which is thinner 3. Aveeno hand lotion. I always have the big bottle everywhere (car, purse, house, travel bag, work)
My FAVORITE hand moisturizer set by far is the Satin Hands Pampering Set by Mary Kay. It includes a protecting softener, a shea scrub, and a shea cream. LOVE IT!
Allie, they have pumps on Amazon that fit the L’Oréal foundation. They come 4 in a pack. I also used the pumps on high end foundations as well. And congratulations again on the pregnancy. Soooo exciting ❤
Working hands is my go to for the winter. I'm constantly washing my hands at work, and it's the only thing that helps with my knuckles not cracking from being so dry.
I was a nurse and now working in a pharmacy, I wash my hands A LOT! My go to is Gold Bond Ultimate Healing Hand Cream. It is super hydrating and healing. It lasts through washing and keeps my hands from getting chapped. I suffer from super dry skin, so my fingers will crack and bleed when they get too dried out from over washing. This saves me from that happening. Hope this helps you. 💜
Hey Alllie! OMG the loccatain hand lotion is absolutely amazing!! I highly highly recommend it. It has shea butter too. Smells great and is highly moisturizing.
When that nabla palette first released I was so excited to see reviews, but no channels I really watched seemed to be interested- I’m so thrilled that you did!! Love you and your content so much 🥰💗xx
I highly recommend Mary Kay Satin Hands!! Thank you for sharing your beauty wisdom with us! You're absolutely stunning! God Bless you, your family and baby !💗
Best hand cream ever is Clarins hand and nail treatment cream. I’ve used so many over the years and go back to this every time. Been using it for 20+ years. It’s smells amazing too!
As a hand cream lover, the Burt’s Bee’s almond and milk hand cream (in the tub) is PHENOMENAL!!! It’s definitely pretty oily, so I use it only at night, but it’s honestly so luscious. It smells amazing and hydrates like wild. It’s my holy grail by a long shot!! :D even my step mother who has eczema on her hands really enjoys it (and she hardly finds creams that calm that dryness)!!
It's too big to throw in a bag, but I love keeping the Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream for very dry to dry, sensitive skin on my nightstand and apply daily at night. I call this my "magic cream." I sometimes get random rashes on my wrists and elbows but regularly applying this cream for 3 days makes the rashes completely disappear. It's amazing and I can't live my life without it!
As far as hand cremes go, the Vaseline Advanced, the White is absolutely the very best for many many years now! I started using it in the 80s, and shopped for any others since! The thing is that it absorbs completely without a greasy film or feel. You can actually feel it absorbing, tho it does take two applications, but still no film or slip whatsoever, just a moist supple feeling!! Enjoy this basic hand creme!
Allie, I work in a hospital and my hands really go through it 3 (sometimes 4) nights a week. I'm constantly using sanitizer, washing, gloves. I keep the brand Hempz lotion (travel size) in my pocket and use it after every hand wash. It has really helped! Plus you can't go wrong with any of the scents. Another tip is once you find a scent you prefer, buy a large size and a travel size. You can just refill the travel size as needed and it's cheaper that way. 😉
Neutrogena Norwegian formula hand cream. Use at night and you hardly need hand cream during the day. Have used this for ages and still get compliments on how soft my hands are!
Okay, so for a hand cream I highly recommend the La Roche-Posay B5 Balm. It’s not exactly a hand cream but it works so well on my hands. My skin on my hands dries out so easily. It’s really good. Also you can use it on your face if your skin is feeling super dry as well.
Allie, I SWEAR by Avon Moisture Therapy Intensive Healing and Repair Hand Cream. When I see it on sale I buy like 20 tubes so it’s been a long time since I ordered it. I checked their website and they do have it but it is in holidays packaging. My hands used to crack and bleed in the winter and this is the only thing that keeps that from happening. It is very intense so I only use it at night. It’s a miracle worker and it’s extremely inexpensive. Give it a try. Love you Allie! Can’t wait for baby girl!
Neutrogena Norwegian hand cream is really great for dry cracked hands. My holy grail for many years. Carried it with me during my years as a nurse- and you know how many times/day we wash our hands!😊
Aveeno Skin Relief Moisturizing Lotion! I love it! Stays on skin for a long time and you don't need to reapply a ton throughout the day. Not oily either. Cerave lotions are really nice too, just think the Aveeno one stays on longer as for the hands as often as we wash them. Starting to use more sunscreen on back of hands too. Water resistant sunscreens help lock in the moisture 😉
Hi, Allie! My mom was the queen of hand creams. Her favorites were Avon Silicone Glove and L'Occitane en Provence shea butter hand cream. I have super dry skin and like Eucerin Advanced Repair hand cream for very dry skin. It's also fragrance free if you're fragrance sensitive.
Hi Allie. I’m a teacher and working with young kids I am FOREVER washing my hands, and living in London the temp has really dropped lately so my hands have been paying the price. I told a few close friends that there isn't a lot of things I enjoy anymore soo, with that being said, I LOVE playing in my make-up and I use drug store so I can have even more fun.
🥰❤️
Love the eye look!! Stunning. I always enjoy what you post! I may not comment but I enjoy!! ❤️🥰
Nécessarie peptide hand cream with the La Roche-Posay cicaplast hand cream on top!!! PERFECT combo.
Hi Allie, I highly recommend the CeraVe hand cream. It absorbs so well and is non greasy, but is super hydrating (and fragrance free!).
Nabla is so under rated and their products are top notch! The longwear stylo eyeliners are my HG liners no transfer, last forever, no smudging just amazing!
I really like the lotions from gold bond for my dry skin!! They’re not super glamorous lol, but you can always get a cute travel bottle to carry if you prefer
thanks for showing the Nabla palette, I loved the look of this 😍
Khiel's ultimate strength hand salve(great travel product or in your purse) and good ole Palmer's coco butter lotion with vitamin E are my go to. love them both.
Her voice is so soothing and calm, every time i have trouble sleeping I open her youtube channel and i start one of her youtube videos and I would fall asleep immediately
love you so much 🥹❤️
@@allieglines you replied omg i love you more ♥️♥️♥️
L’occitane hand cream specifically in the “Amande” scent! It’s so moisturizing but dries down and doesn’t feel sticky
The L'Occitane lavender hand cream is sooooo nice!! Super moisturizing, not sticky, and smells absolutely amazing!
The pallet is gorgeous.
Best hand lotions:
1. La Roche Posay lipikar triple repair moisturizing cream. My dermatologist recommended this to me and have been using it for a few years
2. O’Keefe’s working hands cream (in the jar). It’s pretty thick and my family swears by it. We find this one is more moisturizing than the one in the tube, which is thinner
LOVE IT!
Makeup will always be exciting to me also, I love it! Love the look you did, you look do pretty! That palette is beautiful!! 🥰
Allie, they have pumps on Amazon that fit the L’Oréal foundation. They come 4 in a pack. I also used the pumps on high end foundations as well. And congratulations again on the pregnancy. Soooo exciting ❤
Can you link the name of the pumps? That is a great idea!!
I love to see you use glitter shadows and they are so pretty on your eyes Allie. I love that palette too.
Working hands is my go to for the winter. I'm constantly washing my hands at work, and it's the only thing that helps with my knuckles not cracking from being so dry.
I really love the entire look, but especially the lower lash!
I swear by the Clarins hand cream! Used it for years.
I been waiting for someone to test this concealer thank you ❤️
Best hand cream ever is Clarins hand and nail treatment cream. I’ve used so many over the years and go back to this every time. Been using it for 20+ years. It’s smells amazing too!
I use Korres body butter as a hand cream. It's perfect in every way. I use the Lemon Basil.
Beautiful look. The Mascara looks spectacular!
Archipelago hand cream!!! I have them everywhere. Lavender, marine, charcoal rose. All awesome!
The Josie Marian Argan Milk Smoothing Hand Treatment. Light texture and hydrating. Hands feel smooth not tacky.
Neutrogena Norwegian formula hand cream. Use at night and you hardly need hand cream during the day. Have used this for ages and still get compliments on how soft my hands are!
WOW!!! So very pretty!!💓💓💓 I like that eye palette color stones that's one I'd use all the colors... very thoughtful palette!!❤️🥰💄😘💋😍👑💎💟
Hi Allie! Ahava's mineral hand cream is my holy grail.
We need a blue eye shadow look from this pallet! Also expensive but the L'Occitane hand and body creams are worth the splurge
Oooh, I’ve heard really good things about L’Occitane and Eucerin
Love this palette! Btw the original L'occitane Shea butter hand cream is amazing. ^.^
The Neutrogena hand cream is great! Keeps your hands and cuticles hydrated.
Soap and Glory Hand Food is my favorite! Nice and thick but not greasy, with a lovely fresh slightly floral scent! ❤
I’m so excited to see a new video on my birthday!!!
Happy birthday!! 🎉❤
@@jenniferwhitaker969 THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! I really appreciate it!!!!
Hi Allie. I’m a teacher and working with young kids I am FOREVER washing my hands, and living in London the temp has really dropped lately so my hands have been paying the price. I use the QV Creme which is very thick and can feel greasy BUT I use it when I get into bed and when I wake up my hands are so much more improved!
That eyeshadow is AMAZING!!!!
Absolutely love ya! You should have your own line of make up and brushes. Go for it! ❤
The blue eyeshadow looks great with your eyes and the lips look good with the eyes too!
