    Love the option to add a 0.25 sec delay to soundbomb and light strobe. Means I can use oem horn to toot thanks and goodbye without the embarrassing loud soundbomb sounding everytime.

    Excellent, very informative and explained in layman's terms. Unfortunately, I've only now 'stumbled' across you after ordering my Denali kit from somewhere else!

    Thanks for your helpful videos. Added CanSmart to my 1200GS today: The ring that goes on the red battery screw had heat shrink too long, down under the screw and adjacent ring terminal: electricians are not allowed to have any wire insulation under the switch and receptacle screw heads for good reason. I trimmed mine on both sides of the ring. Buy and store an extra 30 micro fuse or two to carry on your trips. The long "horn" cord can also feed insulated 1/4" spades crimped onto lights with just two wires, headlights or rear lights. The CanSmart can majcally dim these as well, maybe just 50%. Denali sells a pigtail that goes in/onto its 3 wire connectors so you can solder or crimp on a wide variety of your 12 volt things or just waterproof an open ended connector (be sure to insulate each tail separately). They don't sell the microUSB waterproof plug, but my pigtail order requested one too. Hope this helps some.

    Thanks for your videos. They gave me the confidence to buy my controller and lights, and be able to do the work by myself. Didn't buy from you as I am in another geo, but be sure your good work is appreciated around the world.

    Hi, Ive just purchased a CANsmart from you. I have watched many of your videos, and can see your installations are very neat, which I like. Can I offer a tip to make them even better? When you cut the cable ties off, you use standard wire cutters, that leaves a 'sharp' piece protruding above the buckle, which can cause a nasty cut. At work we used to use Lindstrom 8141 cutters to cut the tie flush with the buckle making a very neat and safe fastening. 👍

    Hi I was hoping you could explain the brake function.More so the sensitivity levels and what they mean when you adjust them for emergency braking and engine braking. It's under more settings.

    Good Morning Steve .... just about to wire up my D4’s in the configuration that you have just done on this video, As you’ve explained in other videos & I have run the red and white circuit to my D4’s so they can switch off & back on independently with the indicators.... what do you do with the two spare plug ends ? Do Denali supply any blanking caps to cover these two spare plugs to stop water ingress ? Thanks Mark

    Does it automatically remember those settings after you adjust them or do you have to hit the hamburger next to the yellow triangle and download to cansmart? I adjusted everything then hit that three horizontal line button next to that triangle on the upper right. It had several options and one was download to cansmart so that’s what I hit. It nothing happened.

    Do you the run 2 cables from cansmart from to either side of the bike? Eg left and right?

    Hi, Steve,
    love the videos. So much so, i went and bought the Cansmart unit, 2 spotlights, & a rear brake light.
    All went on without a hitch, but when i try to program it all , i cant get my computer to drop down to apply the settings. i bought a brand new computer to sort it but it doesnt want to know.
    When i start the bike all the denali lights work, until i get 50 meters down the road, when the denalik stuff turns itself off . Please feel free to call me a twat, but, what am i missing ?
    Thanks, Alan.

    Hi Steve.
    I've just got myself a pair of d7 and also the cansmart.
    I've managed to set it up as well but I can't seem to make any changes to the intensity of the lights using the wonderwheel on my R1250gs.
    Is it possible to do so?
    Could you please help

    I'm always looking forward to it. Recently, the D4 light always flashes. Is the setting method wrong?

    • @ABIKETHING
      @ABIKETHING  4 года назад

      Could be moisture in a connection. Spray a switch cleaner inside the plugs to draw out moisture. Also make sure modulation is switched off. Finally if dimmed too low in 2 wire dimming setting create this.

    What is the difference between the silver Cansmart 2 and the black one in the videos? I've noticed the programming page is different.

    • @ABIKETHING
      @ABIKETHING  4 года назад

      Silver is hex’s own module. Black in denalis cansmart which is made by hex but changes have been made for the Denali market place

    I watched your video a few times, did the install and programmed my D2 2.0 lights as you did. However it doesn't work the way it should. Just purchased from Twisted Throttle and installed.
    Everything works except:
    Left turn signal On - Both D2 lights off
    Right turn signal On - Both D2 lights on
    Only the D2 on the side with the turn signal on should go off.
    I have a screen shot, but can't send here. Any idea what I did wrong???

    • @ABIKETHING
      @ABIKETHING  3 года назад

      Hi dale, feel free to email directly at steve@abikething.com however the quick check to do is this......let’s say for arguments sake you’re running these 2 D2’s on red and white circuit. Now in the software make sure you set the left (red) to be left light 1. Now set right (white) to right light 1. Now this makes light pair one. You’ll be able to then set light pair one to do what you want and it’ll work. I promise 😀. If it’s back to front you can either swap the cable connections round or just rename the circuits so red in right light 1 and white is left light 1.
