I first started MAD to treat my OSA. It was a big mistake, for me. Totally messed up my jaw. I'm sure they work for some people but I totally regret having used one.

I've read that the downside to these is that you jaw gets out of its socket somewhat, and that can have lasting impact on your jaw joint. I'm pretty used to CPAP at this point, but the allure of these devices (no power needed, no hose, no blowing air) is real.
