It would have been better to tell us after using it for few nights and tell the reality of which one is the best in terms of it’s comfort and performance
I bought the ZQuiet and while it did work it was really uncomfortable. Luckily I found out my dentist made snore guards from “Silent Night”. They take professional molds and measurements of your jaw and make you a custom snore Goard. While it is really pricey, it fits perfect and I have stopped snoring for my wife. 😊
I've tried this type of anti-snoring devices. The fact that it brings the jaw forward seems like a good idea... But.... at one point, the joint of the jaw really hurts. So I stopped using these devices. It is not normal to have your jaw pushed forward like this. I think that in the long term, it could have a bad impact on the joint of the jaw. Just be aware of this.
My husband needs this he snores and grinds teeth. Sounds like something he would like to try! Thats great you can try it for a month I think the 1st one is the best one for him.
Issue with these is that none come with a mouth piece that fixes your jaw back in place in the morning like if you go get a mad done at a dentist or specialist they usually include a piece to wear for like 5mins after you take the mad off
I think the most frustrating thing is finding a place that doesn't have bad reviews. I will see a place that has potential and then when I do some research it all goes down hill. I don't want to waste my time and I do not want to be treated like im a cash cow. I just want to stop my snoring in the easiest way possible. I am thinking of getting one of these on Amazon to see how it works.
I've used pure sleep for years. Works wonders but I had a sore jaw for about 2 years. My lower jaw is not in the same place anymore. Almost have an underbite now but I'm used to it now. I don't have an underbite all the time tho, really just when I'm lying on my back. I've tried convincing people to get it because I snored like a train and now nothing. Most will try but didn't like the sore jaw. I have mild sleep apnea and it stopped that. I sleep great now. I think I'll try vital sleep now. Just to try to move my jaw back a bit. The pure sleep is pretty much set after you boil it. The vital sleep looks like u boiling and can still adjust it. So I'll try to adjust back to as normal as I can get my jaw. 1 mm at a time. Hope this helps someone. My wife says it's a miracle worker. Lol One of the downfalls is I can't sleep without it now. So I have to take it everywhere.
Update. Been using vital sleep for close to 2 months. It's comfortable, but I'm sure after 2 years of pure sleep, it's just my jaw being used to things. Vital sleep works great. However, my wife says I still snore a little. Nothing that bugs her at all she said. But with pure sleep, I didn't snore at all. I do find my vital sleep doesn't move my jaw as far back as the pure sleep. Even though i have it adjusted as far back as it can go. So comfort: vital sleep is better. For effectiveness: pure sleep wins. Both are good tho.
I tried the SnoreX earlier this year. Definitely stopped the snoring, but stretched my jaw so far open that I could no longer chew food and it gave me tmj. I had to toss it.
@@ctnicetune141the settings really have nothing to do with how much the appliance stretches your mouth open. They are more for how far forward it pushes your jaw .
Curious that a device to eliminate the tongue blocking the airway would recommend you not sleep on your back (recommends-side or stomach positions). If I could sleep in those positions I wouldn’t need their device. Please review ZQuiet and vital sleep. Loved this video, informative!
I tried the tongue stabilizer, didn't work at all. It made be drool something terrible, drool runs all over pillow and side of your face for on side sleeper and choking drool if on back. Those jaw position devices aren'[t good in the long run as they will reposition your teeth outwards over the long run. and short run will make your jaws or tongue sore the next day
True i’ve tried both as well. The tongue holder doesn’t hold through the night. The jaw holder shifted my right side teeth/molars after 5 months of use…
I think ZQuiet may be good since it gives some flexiblity for the mouth to move, so should be easier to swallow saliva. I tried the one like VitalSleep but it is so uncomfortable especially hard to swallow saliva. However, I do when wearing it does open up my airway properly so it might help you breath through your nose except the difficulty when swallowing saliva part really makes me dislike the device.
It would be great for you to review Blue Sleep, which provides a customized device based on a dental scan. Obviously will be the pricest option, but interested in hearing your review on the whole Blue Sleep process. I just completed my 3 day sleep eval with the Night Owl device through them, and the next steps are to get fitted for a device and determine insurance cost coverage. Depending how much my insurance covers, I'll go with a customized device or a "boil and bite" device that is cheaper.
I've never heard of this before! I wish I'd known about these when I was with my ex! Also wish you'd do a review on mouthguards for people who grind or clench their teeth at night.
hi, will this help for me that i don’t snore, rather i do suction between tongue and mouth palate all night when sleeping and when i wake up, it really hurts swallowing. Any help would be appreciated. i made a appointment with the doctor, they said its not normal and he doesnt know about it
I bought the mouth thay you need to mold in dhot water.. Problem is.mi feel like i physicly need to keep biting for the entire duration its in ny mouth I mean, if i dont try, my mouth just opens up and it dosent have any effect
Mouth tape at night and even during the day to remind you to breathe through your nose. Obviously you'd do this in private normally while at home, lol But it will completely change your life and eventually your lungs, fatigue issues, and eventually the shape of your face.
Start with two or three stripe of blue 3m medical tape so you can still breathe through your mouth a bit and eventually you'll just tape your mouth completely and be fine. It's not nearly as dangerous or scary as you'd think when done correctly. And it will COMPLETELY change your life.
Is there any in particular you'd recommend for someone with a small mouth and a big overbite? My dentist has recommended I get one but I just find them really painful
do these aids put too much pressure on your teeth? meaning over time that having them put pressure against your teeth each night eventually start to shift your teeth?
AdaptHealth charges you An arm and a leg for CPAP, plus it's now become a hassle with that machine and mask. am over weight so Inspire not an option. I am gonna order a mouth piece. I'll let you all know. thanks for video
Mold before adjustment, to make sure your teeth are sitting center to the mold. Beware though, these devices that hold your jaw in place depend on your teeth to hold it in place, obviously. You will see teeth shifting/tipping over time. I used one daily for about 5 months as I was seeing 0 snoring recordings throughout the whole night, only to realize that my bottom right teeth/molars were shifting 😢
