I don’t know why in RUclips this Qigong under English version kept named as Zhineng Qigong which is not accurate. The name of this Qigong is called Xing Shen Zhuang (形神庄). It is one of the forms of Zhineng Qigong. I know ‘Peng Qi Guan Ding Fa(捧气灌顶法) is also another form of Zhineng Qigong. Maybe there are other more but I only know those two. As a Chinese who practise for 30 years I feel I have the responsibility to add a comment here.
Some of us just need to be able to find it on you tube so we can practice. Giving us an obscure name that 95% of people don’t know can’t help us to do that. But thank you for educating us. However I will always search for it by zhineng as that is the name I know and is in common useage.
fascinating practice, seems like they were able to find a way to strengthen the fundamental movement patterns all in relation to the respiratory system through what is an elegantly streamlined set of movements/thought actions.
It's more to do with the mind directing qi. Not just physical movements , it's not a dance that's where people go wrong. Practicing la qi first helps you understand this. I have friends who have learnt complex forms of qi. Gong and you can see they are just shaking their arms and legs and doing the moves, it's comical it's not qi gong

isn't it very hard to focus the Qi, if do it at the beach with strong wind. Just note this to beginner, don't start your learning at beach. it ends up you only doing body movement.

@@oliverk191 I literally don't care what you think on this subject, take your esotericism elsewhere.

When is the best time in the day to do this practice?
The best time is always, when you have time and you can relax and concentrate on your practice. Haola from Innsbruck
a chinese master in France said, that yes all times, but when the moon is full and new, try it to 22h in the evening
