I enjoyed that gentle yoga this morning. I felt the tightness in my thighs. Today I will focus on my body and pay close attention to my thighs. I thank God for waking me up every morning and everyone in this world.I know it gives us a chance to strive to be a better women and man. Thakns again for your supportive video that enlightens my heart. Have a very promising day.
@Candace, I've been doing this practice following along this very video every morning for the past 2.5 years. It's quick and totally sets me up for the day - both physically and mentally. I don't easily form new habits, but this one got installed into my system in no time! Thank you so much for putting it together for us🙏
I have had Lyme since May and decided this morning to do a search for yoga with Lyme. Thank you for this gentle video to help bring me back to stretching and hopefully beginning to work through my stiffness and chronic pain. 💚
I had bad Lyme disease for over two years. I am happy to report that I am healthier than I was pre-Lyme, so please know there is hope. Keep your head up
I am real happy to have found an easy yoga morning routine from bed to get the day started. As a beginner I find it a little hard to find easy yoga routines but this one is so gentle and easy to follow 👍🏼❤️
Candace I love your practice, I suffer Fibromyalgia and sometimes this practice is the one thing that makes me feel a bit better, so thank you for this. Namaste 🙏🏻
Been having trouble getting out of bed on time for school, but I watch this as soon as I wake up and immediately feel so much better and energized to get out of bed! Thank you
I am trying SO HARD to do yoga every single day for just one whole month. I'm only two weeks in and the psoriatic arthritis in my knees and ankles has improved SO much that for the first time in about 2 or 3 years, I can finally go down stairs somewhat like a normal person again, lol. However, this is the second time I've had to find a quickie "lazy yoga" video to be able to keep my promise to myself and not skip a day. I'm generally terrible at sticking with routines and this video is monumental in helping me to adapt my new routine instead of abandoning it. Thank you so much for this. Namaste. 🙏
Hey Rebecca, good for you for setting a goal and really aiming to stick to it! Don't get down on yourself about doing a "lazy" practice - despite this video not being strenuous, it is going to open up the tight fascia which is what's responsible for us feeling stiff, so you're actually doing wonders for your body even though you're not working up a huge sweat. Part of getting into a solid fitness/yoga routine is knowing when to give yourself time to do what's called Active Recovery - that is, a bit of movement that isn't strenuous so that your body can recovery from the more strenuous activity you've been doing. Make sense? Enjoy!
I'm a big girl and as a part of creating healthy habits for myself i wanted to try yoga and see how it goes. I've been doing it for a few days and i love it. I actually get exited to do it. There are 2 poses that a bit hard for me because of my belly lol i still do it and it makes me feel very productive. Thank you so much✨
Video is a little fast paced; especially when you’re not wearing glasses in the morning and the screen is blurry. But I’ve watched it two mornings now and you start to remember the poses! thank you for this addition to my morning 💗
This was a really good, easy going practice. Very short, but I still feel refreshed and thankful that I took 5 minutes to realign. I'm in university so I only have a single bed and I found this really accommodating, sometimes bed yoga assumes you have lots of space.
This is wonderful! Perfect for me as someone who is recovering from chronic fatigue syndrome and needs a really gentle way to connect to my body. Thank you so much!
This is me too. I have been basically bed bound for months due to chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia. Gentle stretches from bed will be a great gift I can give to myself as I try to regain strength and flexibility
Such a beautiful easy routine that is now a must for me as soon as I wake up as it gives me an awesome stretch and immediately wakes me up🤗. Thank you and much love from South Africa 🇿🇦
Thank you for this video Candace. Usually do the longer morning routine but today (after some injury) I could only do a shorter one. I appreciate your variety of videos and lengths.
Perfect. I usually don't have time in the mornings to do a full 15-30 minute yoga practice before I leave like I used to. Perfect for starting my day. Thank you! :)
Thank you Candace, I wake up feeling really heavy every morning with body aches. No matter how many hours of good sleep I get, I still have pain. I saw your video today and I tried it seem to help me, I'm going to continue doing these steps every morning. Thank you for sharing and helping me . God bless you
Yay! Finally, someone who demonstrates "Bed Yoga" poses. I woke up thinking about how to do some warming poses while in bed that would help my neck and shoulders and wondered if there was a vid I could share with Mom. Most "Bed Yoga" web pages and videos show people doing yoga on the floor or full yoga poses on the bed instead of the floor - not helpful! Yours is helpful. Thank you!! PS - I also did the upper body part of the pigeon pose to loosen the hips. I'm looking for more ideas for Bed Yoga poses.
Thank you 🙏 just started this gentle yoga as have had an injury and not been able to do any exercise for a month so a great way to begin slowly. Namaste x
So this when you wake up I swear it helps you to be more aware , you know when you just wake up and get out of bed and you start tumbling and hitting into walls 😂😂
This is a nice gentle stretch to start the day, I will add it to my wake-up routine. Your voice is soothing and steady and matches the pace of the movements.
This was the perfect morning stretch/yoga I have been searching for. I had honestly given up on trying to find one like this and clicked expecting another video where I would have to end it and do other stretches after, but nope! This covered it. Thank you!
I tried this for the first time, and would have benefited from a few additional instructions. The reason Candace is on in the middle of the bed is that this requires the space. I did find the stretches helpful, but I will need to practice them more, as I am quite stiff.
I love this practice, thank you so much! This may seem off topic haha but you have beautiful skin! It would be great if you did a self-care/skincare routine video to show how you get that glow. I'm sure the yoga you do is a huge part of it. Thank you again!
Aw thanks for the kind words! I actually used to have really bad acne - the biggest thing that helped completely transform my skin was eliminating processed foods and refined sugar and eating more variety - those micronutrients are so good for the skin!
Just tried this for the first time, loved it! I'm a v stiff/inflexible person and it got worse after my car accident last September so my New Years res was to start doing yoga :) this is a great start to my day I can't wait to incorporate bed yoga every time I wake up/go to sleep!
Thank you Candace for sharing all those videos. I love the calm tone of your voice. I really like the gentleness you share in those classes. It helps me not to be too hard on me.
Thank you so much. The movements are a bit too fast for me so after watching the video initially I watched it again pausing the poses. It took me 20 minutes but now I'm relaxed and limber. Thanks again! 😁🙏
Good Morning Candace! Love these videos! So easy! I have arthritis in my knees, shoulders and neck plus I'm obese, but these stretches are so simple!! My muscles still are flexible, just the fat isn't!! lol I'm sharing these all over facebook and twitter!!
It's never the fat! One of the greatest things I learned is that people with extra weight just need to do whatever they can to accommodate the weight. For example, in downward dogs, most yoga teachers are taught to say 'feet hip distance' - this isn't going to work for someone with a bigger belly because of the weight distribution - they'll need to take a bigger stance. Ultimately, you know your body best, so feel free to use the videos you see as foundation, but then make your own tweaks so that it works for your body. One of my goals is to educate the yoga teacher trainees I have coming up in my training this summer in Thailand how to teach people with ALL TYPES of bodies.
You have such a calming voice and presence ❤ you

Simple and easy. Been doing routine for more than a year now. Thanks for making every day a better one.
My 3 year old and I have been doing this every morning for the last couple of weeks. We love it, thank you so much.
Ah I love that you practice with your little one!! Amazing!
Every since I started doing yoga with Candice in the morning I feel so good . No more tight shoulder blades .
Simple and easy yo do. Thank you for becoming part of my morning routine. You have pulled me thru a difficult time.
Thanks so much, Gail. It's been a rough year - we are in this together.

But did you invent stretching a bit before getting out of bed? I think it took lazy Americans to come up with "Bed Yoga" class of one person.
