"...chilled cup-holders where you can heat up your coffee..." Made me spit my coffee all over the floor I burst out laughing haha Otherwise great review!
picking up my srt8 in 2 days! counting every minute. LOVED the test drive and simply had to have one. I got the white one. I hope i made the right colour choice..
Got a 2013 showroom model brand new back in June 2014 (tho, I must admit it was EOFY) for 57k. There's huge discounts on these cars because there seems to be a huuuuge oversupply of them sitting in the US. Hence they had 2012/2013 builds still undriven in 2014 for dirt cheap.
I bought mine after the owner got done with it at 4XXX miles for $43000. I cross shopped C63 and V. I was coming out of a 6L V. SRT 8 was the bargain and U connect the best. I put Corsa extremes on and it is the best sounding motor I have ever had the pleasure to hear, and quiet on the interstate.
This is a "core" version which is why it has the srt8 on the back instead of the srt and why it has the 6.4 hemi badge on the sides. Though this one is different on the core usually there are no fog lights. The differences between the core and regular srt8 is that the core has a single mode suspension and no hid headlights and the rims are cast aluminum not the anondized forged ones. So this one looks to be a core.
+The_Mtn_Dew that's not a core edition, that's still the SRT8 version. Just because it has the 6.4L HEMI Badge on the fenders doesn't mean it's a core. This SRT8 was designed in australia even though it's an american car. The real core edition has multi 20 inch 5 spoke wheels that's from the charger super bee and the challenger yellow jacket editions. and plus all of the SRT8 and Core editions have an SRT8 badge in the back. It's not that special.

I was going to compare it to the likes of a C63 AMG, but then when I saw they go for $66k..... holy CHEAP

This was an Australian SRT model and had adaptive dampers, leather and all the mod cons.

and also the 2014 model SRT'S are just labeled as SRT only including the SRT Core edition
"This SRT8 was designed in australia even though it's an american car."
where did you find that?
Cool
It's a 300. Not 300C. ;)
And they dropped the '8' on the 2014. Not sure why SRT8 badge is on this model.
it might just be a 2012 or 2013 perhaps
Duane Bonney yea something I noticed too replacing the badge on my 06 with SRT badge comes in the mail today
Duane Bonney probably because it's in aussie land
