    With the lifter failure couldn’t you just do an MDS delete and cam swap? That sounds like the exact same issue with G8 GT’s, DOD lifters fail causing engine problems. It’s just the nature of cylinder deactivation lifters in push rod V8’s but you can just swap the cam, lifters, valve springs, trunnions, etc.

I also have custom exhaust, demon offset wheels, wicker bill spoiler, maxxis breaks and rotors. So all and all the same car. Small repairs here and there mainly electrical. The big difference on mine would be the lifetime warranty on the power train. No upgrades for anything under warranty and for good reason. Amazing car. It’s a classy monster. I have a 2007 300c that looks like crap. I love his car. I had to replace the motor at 314000 miles. I recieved a new motor through my warranty. My car is dying at times. I know it looks really bad and has some issues, yet It sounts so good and handles like it was new. I had to install a Power Torque transmission due to Chysler not having one available. I can never get enough of the sound of my car. It is the 5.7 with very burnt out exhaust. I am thinking for fun and amusment I would post something on line sometime. Everyone does not have the money or time to have a perfect car. We still love them.

    • @Junior305able
      @Junior305able 11 месяцев назад +1

      Well you messed up right there by buying a police pursuit version. The police versions have a 100% failure rate when it comes to hemi ticks and general engine failures because they let the car stall way too long and if you know anything about these hemi engines you would know that. And yes after 2014 the reliability increases every year thereafter but just know that it can still happen
