    I cancelled my '23 scatpack widebody order when I went to a dealership with a friend to pick up his hellcat and they had this 300c on the lot for sale. The guy who had ordered it backed out and they were offering MSRP no markup. Everything said in this video has matched my experience perfectly, especially how this vehicle CAN NOT make sharp turns on a damp street at all. But you can't help but fall in love with it. I got it in July and already have 7k miles on it. Driving it is just a pleasure and joy.

    Yuri is so right about the amount of tech in cars. It may sound ridiculous compared to real older cars but when you compare to modern even dailies. Some seat adjustment, heated seat and steering wheel, gauges with most important info and thicc analog speedo and tachometers. Ok some bluetooth is nice too but i wouldnt mind CD player for some rare occasions

    • @RatBürgerSk8
      @RatBürgerSk8 Год назад +7

      My car being a 2011 strikes a nice balance. It has stuff like Bluetooth, aux port and heated seats, but the infotainment screen isn't some overbearing focal point with too much going on like many new cars.

      @@RatBürgerSk8yep, 100% agreed. My Jaguar XKR is 2014 and it's the same - all the modern amenities (backup camera and forward + back sensors, heated and cooled seats, Bluetooth audio and calls, auto-dimming mirrors inside and out (+heated outside), etc) and none of the bullshit driver nannies that don't work right. The only thing I wish it had is radar cruise control. My earlier XKR had that but apparently it was an option there after and no one ever ordered it 🤦‍♂️

    I own one of these in Bright White. Absolutely ridiculous fun car. You did a little bit of comparison to the Charger Scat Pack (which has the same engine/trans), but there are a few additional things that the 300C has that you can't even get on the Charger Scat Pack. 300C has the full Laguna Leather seats, Scat Pack only comes in Nappa Leather/Alcantara as the top option. The 300C also has a full panoramic sunroof, not available on the 300C. And the final thing, equipping a Charger Scat Pack as close as you can to the 300C is a sticker price of $64K, $7K MORE than what the 300C stickers for.
    Some dealers who have the cars on the lot are asking a few grand over sticker, but I got mine for right at sticker price as have a bunch of the owners.

I was so pissed when that happen but I'm surprised it's 2023 and it's got a 6.4 instead of the 6.1 and it only has 485 from the 425 it had back then and a 5 spd auto compared to todays 8 spd trans. "bf goodrich gforce comp2 a/s plus 245/45/zr20" are the BEST TIRES for narrowbody scatpacks and chystlers with 245s. u can speed in the rain after u properly break them in. I use to race teslas and trucks in them because they thought I couldn't keep up, but id dust them. pretty good for winter too. the only downside is you have to replace them 2x a year if u speed a lot or doo burnouts, but they significantly improve the traction and handling. They also give you better 0-60s. 3.6 once & 3.8 five times. other than that 4.0 - 4.2 every time

    That version of the SRT 300 may be a charger,but our 2013 300 SRT has nothing in common with a srt charger.
    My 0 to 60 with crappy Goodyear tires that were 9 years old,was 3.8 0 to 60.
    It is 180 mph governed.
    Can't wait to do another 0 to 60 with new tires.
    It has 3 modes and launch control.
    The launch control is tricky to find,and it has under 14000 miles.
    Ours was not made by the same company.
    Ours handles like it should not like that 300.
    That looks like driving a charger all over the street.

    Yes, you absolutely need to get the V10 M5. You have to, because I have no choice but to live vicariously through you guys I would love to see it. I've always fantasized about getting one, but all the reliability issues scare me because I don't have RUclips and Continental and TuxMat money backing me.

    So, is the 300c and its brethren's chassis still loosely based on a late '90's E class?

    I own a 2008,300C station wagon (in Europe it's called 300C Touring) with a 3.0 Diesel and a 5 speed transmission.
    It's an absolute dream to drive and gets pretty good gas mileage (average of 7.5 liters for 100 km). I can get almost 1000 km out of one tank. 🎉
    I really love this car although it has already 280.000 km on the clock it still runs strong doing 170 km/h with the cruise control (but the the gas mileage is a bit worse 😂) on the autobahn.
    Great car. I gonna keep mine forever but I wouldn't feel that lonely in the driveway if I'd buy a Hemi powered 300C as it's companion 😂.

    Interesting, is Yuri stating that 2023 is probably a good time to buy a car before they become too automated with OTA updates and stuff or because of the EV transition? I know were close to the end of being able to purchase cool (PUN) ICE cars which would be one of the reasons persuading me to potentially buy a new ICE car now.

    Who was the designer that ripped of this, the Charger, the Challenger, the Magnum, the Journey, the Nitro, the Grand Cherokee, and the Durango? Designs so good they all still look good 20 years on.

    • @NvSrAgE679
      @NvSrAgE679 Год назад +2

      What? What? Dodge has the worst design language of all brands. The Journey? The nitro? The Magnum? Every one looks like doodoo after 3 years. The only 4 that age well are the charger, challenger, the grand Cherokee and Durango. Look at Dodges history. The intrepid aged horribly, the avenger aged horribly, the journey aged horribly before it was even released. The weird lines and squared edges make them look like the cheapest car on the road. Most Dodge products look like crap accept for their top models. Their trucks look sick af though.
