1 out of 16 of those ever made in Deep Cherry Red
496 of them in total for the 2014 model year
    Very RARE 300!

@@tylercouture216 Exactly! And also, 3,130 of the Second Generation SRT8 300's were produced in total!
      1,999 of 2012
      And 635 of 2013

Handling is suspect though it's not all about horsepower. Going downhill on curves this car will lose control and fly off the road or crash into the hills.

Maurice Gamble for real what happened? Well the charger didn't get it either. I'm thinking of getting 2014 300 SRT8 and putting the 8 speed myself. So SRT8speed.

It’s works fine with 5 speed. This car it’s a beast. It swallows the gas too when you floor it.

I've owned a 2013 and now a late model SRT. There's nothing wrong with the 5 speed, it did the job just fine. As for the steering, the later electric assisted steering is awesome.
Don't make the mistake of thinking this car is a muscle car, it isn't, it's a really nice cruiser with a V8.

Wheel and Tyre combination is too narrow for this much HP.

VERY RARE CAR!! If Chrysler would have used the 8-speed starting in 2012 300 SRT8 they would have sold a bunch more of these cars. 500hp and an 8-speed would be a fantastic highway cruiser.

I have a Ripp supercharged 3.6 2016 Chrysler 300S and a 2014 SRT 392 Charger. The V6 300 is faster and handles better due to electric power steering and the 8 speed. This guy is wrong on the steering! I like the 300S so much better that I am gonna buy a 5.7 hemi version and yank the engine and replace it with a Joey Arrington 415 incher with a Pro Charger and all forged components.

I MUCH prefer the 5 speed. With an engine with so much torque and such a wide powerband more gears are superfluous and only lead to too much shifting. When I wanna go fast I simply tap a paddle. Why would I want to make 3 more shifts, with every speed change. It just wastes time and upsets the car.

His bitching about the transmission makes zero f'n sense that's what those paddles are for. And these cars barely understeer, as the ESP will trail brake for you, that's a driver issue.

bro its covered under warranty. dealership will replace for free. i have a '12 SRT8 300 and i had the same problem on the carbon fiber accents and they took care of it for me. same shit even the shifter bezel carbon fiber was peeling off and i bought a new one for like $400 then got a letter in the mail for the recall and they reimbursed me the $400 i spent on the part and also took care of any kind of lamination issues
