hybrid i-gpu mode is the best mode imo. It completely turns off the dpgu but when you plug it in and play a game it'll still use your dgpu.
I have personally not experienced it that much, since i use it for gaming and editing, its easier for me to use it on DGPU only.
But now that u said it, i will consider using it on hybrid IGPU
It's a bad option fr, is you enable that for some reason the dgpu gaves 10/15% less performance, i think it's better just change to the igpu when you wont play and you want battery an restart laptop, ofc you need to wait but i prefer have the 100% of my dgpu when i want it

@@notengonombre4229battery is DROPPING drastically as on 98% its shows 3h 10 min but as soon 97 hits boom 2 hours gahdamnn
@@notengonombre4229 best is hybrid, on battery its completely igpu and on wall power its completely dgpu
make sure to use A.I optimizer on Balanced mode. In games like league of legends it makes huge difference. In my case at least.
btw now there is Custom mode from where we can undervolt and change fan speed

Hybrid auto mode don't work. It opens games even when power is plugged in

when in hybrid mode i play a game and dgpu is used it creates a second wired display that can be seen in display settings please help me i dont understand it

My legion pro 5 (ryzem 7 7745hx , ryx 4070) does not have an option to enable xmp profile to increase RAM speed in the BIOS (my ram is ddr5 5500mhz)... Any idea how to do that?
Xmp is onyl for intel cpu

Probably a bug. Try reinstalling the software.
Sir, how significant the difference when we use iGPU only? Could it extend the battery life to 8-9 hours?
Legion 5i battery totally svcks but it really depends on the model. Mine is 2021, I think the 2022 battery is equally as bad.
@@thatsentertainment6683 I found a video when my local video creator tested a legion 4 years ago (I think it's 2021 model with 80wH battery, I've forgotten the details already) with testing condition as follows:
150 nits brightness
25% volume
WI-FI off
Bluetooth off
iGPU only
It could last almost 8 hours, but then I checked their video about newer legion up to this year's and yea it svck, last below 7 hours down to below 5 hours with the same testing condition

Because that model does not have a mux switch. Gpu working mode is another name for mux switch.

Hi..does it supports screen refresh rate switching between 60hz and 165hz by pressing the Fn+R button combination. Please confirm.
It should... But it doesnt.
@@techshackOG i think this may be due to the multiple display outputs options available.But it is manually switchable in the Advanced display option where you can choose between 60hz and 165hz.
Lenovo should have made it easy via Fn hotkeys combination.
Does overdrive function work for 144Hz screens?

Vantage has been facing bugs for past 2 years that i have seen. Try contacting customer support
my vram is at 0.41 and my gpu is at 0.30 while idle power mode is high perfomance is the frequency normal
My laptop is Lenovo loq i was using thermal mode on custom mode and maxed everything and was playing Fortnite suddenly the laptop shut down and after it turned on i cant use custom mode or performance only balance mode or auto any tips?

Must be some windows issue as far as i can tell. Try restoring windows to restore point before that fortnight laptop crash.

Hey I’ve got a question why does my app suddenly change out of nowhere and now no longer looks like this anymore. Now my version is all white and stuff missing the Keyboard color change feature and overall all the GUI’s look so different and ugly, and plus I cant turn on dark mode on this shitty app so its all super bright ans blinding for my eyes.
That’s what I came here for, my app doesn’t have the right side info any more like the over clocking options

Umm, i think u covered everything, but missed one important aspect.
In vantage (or any other performance customization software of laptop), go to thermal profiles and keep the laptop at Quiet mode/power saving mode.
Try it out. However, more battery comes in general browsing. Even video playback reduces battery life

Custom mode is the best so far but some tech guy said that if the fans run at high speed it could cause a short i dont know if thats true (probably not)

I have lenovo vantage t5 for 8 months and there is a button for update now in the app but what does it update i have all latest drivers and updates im not gonna click it if it does something i dont need
If u feel u have downloaded all the latest drivers, well u can safely ignore it.
But u should not ignore windows updates.
Its just a short cut for windows updates

It must be an internal problem, not relating to any setting. Call customer care i guess coz this might need refreshing windows or bios.

Does this only work for lenovo legions?
becuase I have a Lenovo vantage but this setting does not appear
becuase
1. Vantage software is for other lenovo laptops as well like legion, loq, IdeaPad
2. Urs may not have all the options as every laptop has different features, hence different options. U may think u have the same laptop as u see on video, but different regions have different featurs of same laptop variant .
I dont have spectrum option even though I have 4 zone rgb
would u say vantage is better than nitrosense?
I feel its about the same as nitro sense in terms ofnraw features. Nitronsense nowdays have better aesthetics, and depending upon laptops features like fan control, nitro sense seems better, but Vantage software feels more clean.
