The Helios 16 can only be upgraded to 32GB, and I can't say for Gen Zs or other younglings, but I couldn't give a rats @$$ about the RGB, it has no practical implications whatsoever, I've used a Katana GF66 Katana, sold it, no issues except the fact that it's noisy (during cooling) and crappy batter life and only 1 SSD slot. I used the TUF F15 with the 1650gtx card and i5 10300H, which a gave to my son it has a good battery life compared to all the other gaming laptops ive had, my other son accidentally dropped it on floor from the table (don't try this at home), still works, I've used the F17 with the i5 12500H and RTX 3050, no issues with it whatsoever, even ran wow classic wotlk on 3 accounts simultaneously (in 3 windows) it performed quite well with a cooling pad, also tested the Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3 with i5 11320H and the gtx 1650, it's fine for begginer gamers, also my son dropped a heavy glass vase with lots of seashells inside on it (so it was 3kg+), had to disassemble it and replace the keyboard 😂 and reassemble it, so it's quite sturdy 😅 The point im trying to convey is I've read and watched a few reviews on the all the gaming laptops, and based on my experience in the last 2 years I'd go for the TUF 15 which is being reviewed on this video, since it has good performance, it's sturdy and reliable and can be upgraded to 64GB RAM and an extra SSD 😅

I snapped up the 7 ultra 1tb on ebay for £320. I've had the ally/legion/deck but there's something about this comparing to the original ally I'm more excited for better sticks with hall effect, a working sd card slot without worry and slow slightly better battery. I get performance isn't as good but i hope we continue to get updates overtime to at least close the gap

I got this on 28/06/2024 same specs i7 13th gen rtx 3050 6gb and 16gb ram 1tb internal storage, and i got the price for 96k !! working very welllll... fabulous perfromance and built quality is very strong!! just charging drains fast as told in this video..! by the way gaming laptops has less battery lasting time then the professional laptops.!! this one lasts for 3-4 hrs maximum on full charge..!!

Looks like you review primarily the high end handhelds. They're too big ,heavy and expensive for me and it seems there's no plug and play option.

This would be a home run at the right price...like 1/2 what they ask for it. It benches well, but when it comes to real world, it just doesn't perform. And it's not even as efficient as the foes kicking it's butt. Meh. I would wait to buy any of these for the 2nd gen that has to be right around the corner.

First thing I think MSI has underestimated the understanding of the people who will buy these devices. In terms of performance/price this is a terrible product, of course the biggest problem is Intel - Extremely power consuming. Not to mention MSI and Asus are the same OEM product with the same controversial design. I am willing to support Chinese handheld device manufacturers like ayaneo/onexplay over such devices. My condolences to MSI if you continue to cooperate with Intel.

19745 time spy cpu score? Really? There is something wrong here, cause my MSI Vector laptop with i9 14900hx cpu, rtx 4080 gpu, and 32 gb dual channel ram scores around 17k cpu score, 19k gpu score, and 19k overall in 3D mark time spy, and these numbers are very similar to other laptops with same specs.

Hello, I bought the same one but with i9 14900 HX processor with 4060 graphics and I am a little bit concerned about the heating as the CPU temp of my laptop gets 56-70 degree Celsius even while just using chrome and doing minimal task. And also my device does not have a co-pilot button, is this normal should I return the device?

There's zero hype for this device, seeing as every initial review slated it. Although I do like the device, which would make for a fantastic small desktop (like a NUC with a screen), it's beaten by the rest for its actual purpose... gaming. Oh well. When there's a range of OneXPlayer and Ayaneo devices, as well as ROG allys on ebay for low prices, no-one should consider the Claw. No-one. Ever. Great video.
