How to remove American Standard pop up sink drain

This video shows how to remove the pop up drain that comes with the American Standard Rumson 8 in. Widespread 2-Handle Bathroom Faucet in Polished Chrome. I'm guessing other American Standard bathroom faucet models with a pop up drain work the same way. Hope this helps.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!! This is exactly what I needed. One thing I noticed which I’m not sure you mentioned is that there’s a little arrow on one of the tabs and on the edge of the drain itself, those should be lined up when putting it back in. Otherwise great video! 👏 👏

This solved the problem we were having with our sink! I couldn’t figure out how to get the stopper out, but thanks to you explaining the design with the tabs, I was able to get it out and unclog the sink! Thanks a million!
