It still is a ride at six flags in St.Louis(where the video was recorded) I just went there and my cousin rode on it and she is an absolute BEAST, she rides all the big stuff lol

Marcus Dorsey Yep, you are absolutely right! I know one was at Prater Park in Vienna Austria for a short time. The Imperator. Not sure where they are now. Sad because they are so rare and a treat to watch. I hav eyet to get to SF and ride it. Unfortunately I never did get a chance when it was at Great Adventure. I heard they could not operate it reliable.

I was always wondering why this ride seems to work and they kept it at St. Louis, while it was at Six Flags Great Adventure for a short period of time and was always breaking. The cycle on the ride is much shorter here. At Six Flags GADV, it'd stay up at the top for a considerable time, where the cars would end up facing in. It'd actually stop, and then start up again to max speed before coming back down. This skips that entire middle procedure. I'm sure it does make the ride work just fine, but this explains why it's still standing, and it would make it less fun than the experience I got, but I'd still ride it. Then again, I heard also it was a nightmare the first year this opened in SF St. Louis, so, who knows what new ride program or however it all works had to be dealt with to make it function. If it does indeed stay open most of the time.
We had this exact ride at Camelot theme park in UK called Excalibur 2 really miss this ride.

Hi. I went on this at flamingoland (UK) I loved it but they sold it and I was guttered... At the time it was there it was my favourite ride.... Wish I could experience it again!! At flamingo land it was called the terrorizer but then the name was changed to the circulator just before it was sold. I miss this ride!

This was the biggest regret of visiting the park for me. I got so nauseous afterwards. Had to take an hour just to lie down, eat and get back to the park lol. Not for the easily disoriented.

They had a ride in the same spot call Hilem fling, i miss that old ride looked like motor bikes youd climb in to. But they got rid of it for this.
they still have it. its called Holland fling. I rode it a couple days ago and yes in st louis.

Uh sorry but no. Before the Xcalibur, there was an arcade in it's spot. The arcade is now moved by the Palace Theater, and the ride your thinking of is actually called "Highland Fling" and it's always been in the back by the boss entrance and the dragon's wing. Across from the Xcalibur is now the Pandemonium spinning coaster (formally known as Tony Hawk's Big Spin) and that used to be the Robin Hood Theater.
Not in the same spot at all.. the Highland fling is close to the entrance of the boss. Actually now a bungee type sling shot swing thing is in the highland flings place, but you can still see the circle there.
its a shame it doesn't do the longer cycle it had when It was at great adventure where it would stop at the top.

Its the better version of an enterprise. An enterprise put on a zamperla discovery disc. XD
Its actually called a GRAND EVOLUTION regular evolutions are smaller more compact only has 10 cars and has a more controlled spin and can do several rotations and lock upside down super easily and carts can be controlled. Grand evolution has 16 carts and cars spin based off speed and gravity and are much heavier only 3 of them were to ever be born 1 in six flags great america was dismantled 1 was in a traveling fair that is no longer in operation stored in a building inoperable by the public and 3rd one is in st louis they keeping this ride because their will probably never be another 1 built due to expensive upkeep, its ability to be nauseating, and not very popular considering how mental this ride is it spins faster then a regular evolution. Simple reason regular evolutions are cheaper more efficient to operate and tons more thrill rides are in more high demand then these for being less nauseating but just as thrilling.

@@bushwxcker540 tiny you said HAH ya is sure as shit won't feel like it when you are on it boy. This isn't no coaster 130 ft is pretty dam high for a flat ride. Especially unlike a giant frisbee which you only see down for a split second you are directly stairing at the concerete as the catapult pushes ya through as you are spinning.
