I think there are enough examples of editions which proofs that translating the votes in 3 languages is just dragging out the voting too much and makes it way too difficult for the host. Doing one set of votes yourself seems easy, but being on that stage with all the pressure, going on for 20 or more sets of votes, makes having a slip more frequently; which also makes it confusing for everyone to watch. Such as during this voting where she suddenly almost forgot how much points were awarded to a country, because each time she translated it, she changed the number of the vote.
Unfortunately she was anxious, judging from her voice being out of breath and she failed to ever focus on what she was currently doing. Her mind must have been all over the place.
I love it how during the voting the commentator continuously roasts Corinne Hermes with "that girl needs a drink" and "all the emotions going through dat girls face"
Greece should have given 12 points to Cyprus in Eurovision 1983, since Greece and Cyprus are one people two nations and other countries exchange twelve points and vice versa like Moldova and Romania which are one people two nations since these two countries have Romanian as their official language and exchange twelve points and vice versa. Azerbaijan and Turkey are one people two nations and they exchange twelve points and vice versa.

This is *such* a strong year, with only one entry I dislike (Luxembourg).
Edit: I would have put France much higher, if not for that horrible tierce-de-Picardie which had no place there at the end.
Rene Do you know that you are being ridiculous?
Take away the winner of the top10 ..... unbelievable dishonesty ahahahahahah
litogor I am not being ridiculous. I’d say that this was the best of Carola’s efforts by far, though Fangad av en Stormvind is also my 1991 winner.
@@JeSuisRene I've noticed that you are the Carola fan, haha! I love both Framling and Fangad av en Stormvind, though neither of them were my favorites in their years (3rd in 1983, 2nd in 1991). I prefer her 1991 entry because there's so much joy in it.
I'm not a big fan of Invincible, however.
Luxembourg's entry was good, but I will never understand why it won. There were more interesting (and catchier) songs that year. My favorites are Yugoslavia and Israel.
Beautiful Europeans countries languages is not only english !!!
we had 3 barefoot ladies tonite: spain and the 2 girls from belgium :D

Greece not giving Cyprus any points this year🫣👀
@@giannis93FUL nah it’s nice to change it up
Greece should have given 12 points to Cyprus in Eurovision 1983, since Greece and Cyprus are one people two nations and other countries exchange twelve points and vice versa like Moldova and Romania which are one people two nations since these two countries have Romanian as their official language and exchange twelve points and vice versa. Azerbaijan and Turkey are one people two nations and they exchange twelve points and vice versa.
Truly abysmal.
Twölf points to la Schweden 😂
What a racket that song from Spain was. No wonder it ended up with no votes.
And Cyprus gave Greece 12 p.!😂😄
The woman presenter was so crap. Her husband was amongst the producing team and so she was imposed to present the show. There were mistakes along the entire evening.
3 different languages...not so easy...everything is same but different
The year Eurovision lost completely touch with popular music and trends. It was to be like that for 20 years to come with a few exceptions to the rule… what if Sweden would have won? More pop music in the years to follow? Nobody knows but this was a dull winner though she sang it beautifully and the song is nice but for 1983 it was outdated as hell…
Greece gave Cyprus 0?? Really??!😄😂🤐

Que vergüenza TVE siempre dando la nota de vergüenza
Hehe
Самый ужасный дизайн сцены за всё время. Выглядело как конкурс самодеятельности в тюрьме. И слушать оценки на трёх языках - реально утомительно.

Presentation wise possibly the most boring Eurovision I recall.
One of the worst winners
What a horrible stage
Carola should have won
