Same. I went to see one on the lot and for my height it was great. I think it’s going to depend a lot on how you prefer to sit while driving and how tall the driver is.
No problem seeing the dash, I'm 5'7" and adjusting steering wheel was simple. Have a Prime model, Im charging every night and use almost NO gas, about 1,200 miles per tank! Its my 4th prius and I love it!
I am 5’ 9” and I have no problem adjusting the driver’s seat and wheel in a comfortable position and I have absolutely no problem seeing the instrument cluster over the steering wheel. I cannot figure out how anyone would say that the wheel obstructs the view of the instruments.
The Latest Honda Insight was beautiful and looked like a normal sedan ( similar to the accord). 50 MPG too. The old ones were ugly. Sadly they are discontinuing the Insight . A Toyota Prius fan!
We got our 24 Prime (after a 21 month wait), and drove it for three months without gassing it up. Last week we had to take a highway trip for the first time, we got over 61Mpg. Ya, very refreshing...........
Im 6'1 and yeah I gotta lower the steering wheel to see the display. At first I thought I was too big for the car because I need the seat all the way back and lowered in order to be comfortable. But coming from a 2015 Prius even if it was a bit bigger/wider I still had to do the same AND its comfy. The headrest is a little annoying because I don't feel like I can fully "REST" my head but rather just place my head on the headrest. Its dumb to me because they went for looks on that. Overall the 2024 Prius in my opinion is UNDERRATED and confidently claim that its the BEST hybrid car in the game. I have the XLE FWD model but if the LE model was available and cheaper when I was shopping around I would have gone with the LE model to save money because I don't care for the lumbar support.
The prime only coming in fwd is understandable, as the car weighs more. Also, the awd for the prius is just as good as the fwd, not much difference at all when it comes to wet roads and snowy roads
22nd and most important thing you should know about the Toyota Prius. You can’t buy one if you want one because Toyota production of this vehicle is nearly nonexistent. Be prepared for a very long wait and plan on settling for a color, trim, and options you don’t want.
Not sure what's up at Toyota. Our closest dealer has a showroom the size of a hocky rink and, it was empty for two years while the other brands had loads of models on hand. We waited 21 months for our Prime (our 3rd Prius). And, yes, we ordered a red one but wound-up with a Pearl colour. All that said, the delay in delivery meant we ended-up with the 5th Gen (we had ordered a 2022), and, the Pearl is a much nicer hue. If you take a really clos-up look the car is not white. We love it. Unreal milage. Three months on one tank !
just a personal recommendation - the non-automatic headlights on the base model would annoy the christ out of me. Having to turn on my own headlights every night because it got dark out is just ABSOLUTELY NOT what I'm paying %APR for on a depreciating asset. If I'm gonna pay out the nose for something that isn't gonna give me my money back, I want the business-class royalty treatment, or it's no-fuckin-deal for me.
@@ShadowLancer128I find it sadisfying turning on my own lights. I’ve got a prime LE and it’s great. Wish it had 360 view when parking but it’s totally worth it
if you need AWD then normal - if you want more performance then Prime - personally, the normal Prius already get phenomenal economy so i don't feel the NEED to go up to the Prime
No issues here with the dash, i see everything fine

I changed my seat height, so I can see the dash.

I think the people who complain are use to a seat leaning back like a la-z-boy recliner. They need to sit straight!
5' 9" here and the dash and seat are perfect for me.
Im 6'3, and i dont have a prius👍🏽
I am 5'7" and simply adjusted the seat up a couple inches. It now fits me perfect.
The steering wheel is telescopic, just push it forward. The cluster becomes visible to all. We have a 2024 model, try it.
The Prius introduced hybrid technology we know today to the world. The Insight came out two years after the Prius and NEVER caught up to the Prius.

8:55 you might say the system works perfectly but that obvious swipe delay makes me worry about the processing power of that digi display.
No issue with seeing the instrument cluster if you adjust the seat properly. Prius 5th gen owner.
Just got an XLE AWD ….refreshing how economical it is….. 80$ to fill instead of 300$…. And now 800km instead of 400km

There are rear vents under the seats.
My wife loves hers, sees the dash just fine

You’re not wrong. I visited a lot with 63 Tacoma’s and one Prius in stock.
Does the panoramic moonroof open or is it just fixed glass?
Fixed
Do u recommend the base model or the middle model?
Ask your wallet

They just had to get ride of the hashtags for me to even consider this. It just makes the car seem dorky
You can't even see the hashtags unless you're looking for them. It's a #nonissue😂
Sexy computer mouse 🤓
This guy says "hashtag" way too often....
the car has hashtags in it he’s just reading them
No matter how sexy it looks, it’s still a Prius. 😂😂😂😂
