The Sailor Dog

This is a slightly longer version of my all-time favorite Little Golden Book, Scuppers, The Sailor Dog. The illustrations are so evocative and the story wonderful. In this version I added a scene from the original book that was missing from my later edition. I used some of my Covid downtime to convert the book into a little video. It took quite a while to adjust the illustrations to match the 16:9 video aspect ratio but in the process I learned lots more vector art techniques. I plan to make a 'how to' video as well to show some of the tricks I used. I must have read this story hundreds of times to my son Denby when he was little. He loved it! And he kept the boxed set of Little Golden Books and so was able to send me photos of the airport and airplane pages to add to this new version.
