I agree, Music can also help with storytelling for example in World of Warcraft The Burning Crusade there is a place called Eversong Woods which was a Elf forest that was invaded and destroyed by the undead. The music in that place has an echoing lament that weaves in between sombre and bright notes that sounds distant and ghostly as if they were voices the Elves who lived during a time before the invasion happened when their forest was in its most beautiful and untainted form. It is a hauntingly beautiful song with a tone of sorrow and lostpride.
Yeah, it's been FOREVER since I've played WoW but I know what you're saying, Music enhances and can shift the feel of a scene/level/etc. completely. Overall, it's very looked over, and some of my favorite music is video game music.
Good music is the best parts of a game. If the game doesn’t have good music it definitely won’t be as good as it could be oh and MY GUY you forgot zelda music it’s in my opinion one of the greatest game music ever and if I hear it I recognize it instantly not halo. Love the video keep up the good work
