I hate when “women’s empowerment” is portrayed in woke culture as “be selfish and rude”. Seriously, that woman took the ENTIRE blanket and didn’t apologize or care. So healthy and empowering 🥴

I thought giving polite apologies for minor inconveniences was a universal idea. Someone bumps into me when they werent looking where they were going and both parties apologize. manners are lost these days. Very few people apologize for anything. If I were to accidentally step on my husband's foot, I would apologize and so would he. I understand the purpose of this commercial but places apologies in a negative light and makes women appear weak.

I just took in a teen that I knew as a child, ”Jane”-(not her real name, obviously)she walked in the door and said “I’m Joe now”. Since last weekend, apparently. Can’t tell you how awkward it is, not saying someone’s name. We have settled on a compromise, an-in-between nickname, that we both feel comfortable using. This is such a confused little girl, who is trying not to be a girl because of past hurts. And now instead of therapists and counselors finding out WHY she’s uncomfortable and in pain, they will just reinforce this absolute garbage of an ideology. I can’t tell you how difficult that conversation was-that I have my beliefs that will not, cannot change to fit today’s trends. I’m willing to love and comfort and care for her, but I believe in right and wrong and cannot change my beliefs because that makes me who I am. I thought she would have been out the door as soon as we finished talking...she’s still here, and we’re figuring out what the next steps are. Sorry for the novel, just needed to vent to strangers, 😊

Does no one notice that the woman in the waiting area chair was taking up both arm rests and a second chair with her purse... in other words taking up most of the space available to sit. She was right to say "sorry" (which in this case was just "excuse me"). I saw that commercial before and started paying attention to when people say "sorry"... in my observation it's pretty much equal among the sexes. It's usually just being polite.

Ya know what would be great. If companies sold a product on the merits of its function. I have actively stopped purchasing products that advertise this way. It’s annoying because I’m running out of things to buy. I would love a clothing company that just ya know...sold clothes!

If I accidentally bump into someone I say I'm sorry. I consider that polite, not demeaning myself. We all should be polite with one another.

I'm a little new at this, because I don't shop for a living, I work for a living, but I started checking some of these companies out by Investigating which companies supported blm, and that was my start. If there is a commercial with interracial couples, or even just african and women, you can guarantee that they will not get my business!!!
