The reason we walked right out of four councelors and two therapists office with our teenager. Someone who enables and justifies the very actions of why we are there in the first place does not need the respect of being heard any longer. Basically when they state their ridiculousness beliefs within the first moments of a meeting they've given you all you need to know about them, you are not obligated to continue the conversation or situation any further. I'm all about manners and was raised very properly but in these situations I see no need for politeness and simply leave without saying another word. I hope I leave them confused and bewildered.

Well, manners are different to everyone, I find it horrible manners to ask me, let alone my young teen our pronouns. That's horrible manners and highly disrespectful to me and to many people I know. And as I was taught when you are not treated respectfully or with proper manners you may remove yourself from the situation. And that is what I do. Preaching and stating my piece or getting on a soap box type high horse is what women who need attention do. These people deserve no further manners from me when they kicked off our meeting displaying none toward me.
As for the therapists it's clear why I am leaving when I have already stated my beliefs and position on the matter, why we are there and what we are there for. THEY are being rude, disrespectful and unprofessional when they are asking the question of my child we had already established was unacceptable BEFORE the visit. They need nothing further from me. I believe I did say thank you for your time to one.
How is it you think this works? We walk in off the street? I actually call and speak with them then set up a fist appointment with my child. When their first question to my child is that after already speaking to me on the phone about the matter, I've done my due diligence and if they are not well aware of why I am walking out with my child at that moment they are not very bright. Weather stupidity or a blatant attempt to circumvent my parenting they do not deserve any further respect or manners from me. Have a good one.

Groomer grandpa reminded me of a weekend conference I went to, years ago, when the trans trend was still pretty new. Everyone attending was on a co-op housing board of directors. I found myself seated next to a guy about that age - and very obviously a guy - that was trans. I'll grant that he at least didn't try to be a caricature of a woman and was dressed pretty normal, but long hair and sparkly barrettes don't make you a woman. Still, he didn't make a big deal out of it, and neither did anyone else. It simply never came up. Early on, he complained about how the members of his co-op kept trying to get him kicked off the board. By the end of the conference, I could see why. He was a very belligerent, insulting person who kept pushing his opinions onto everyone else and demanding the act the way he wanted them to.
For those who think they're having a hard time at work because they're trans, maybe they should consider that it's because they're terrible to other people, or just plain bad at their jobs.

You'd think she would've loved it and never want to leave. But the lack of structure and boundaries was stressful. For example, no one knew how much PTO they ought to take, so some people abused it and took months off (which usually meant losing their job) or they were too afraid and barely took any time off. Boundaries and structure and rules are GOOD. They keep good things hemmed in and bad things out.

8:20 I remember getting into a conversation with a non-binary person, and I remember her telling me “I want to live in a world where I don’t feel like if I step out of the house to get the mail the postman will murder me.” And I remember thinking “no one is gonna notice unless you’re wearing your sexuality on your clothes or outright tell them, and in a world where people like you are celebrated and people who critizised are socially sacrificed, you have no worries”. I find it rediculous that these people feel “unsafe”. In the city I live in, the ammount of pride flags I see in windows and the amount of people I find wearing the typical “I’m queer” look is disturbing.

Talk of "my people" is kinda cringe, but I made a similar observation elsewhere in this thread.
Namely, that generally speaking, the Woke Virus is far more virulent in the English speaking Western democracies and Northwestern Europe in general than in Southern European countries (that J&B commercial appeared to be from Spain).
There definitely is Wokeism and political correctness in Southern Europe but herefore it just hasn't been anywhere near as bad as in the pastier European countries, probably because their relative swarthiness makes them less inclined to feel white guilt, and they're just less inclined towards self loathing.
Most of the propaganda is in English and the English speaking Western democracies have large Northern European populations and Northern Europeans are definitely singled out as The Worst Of The Whites by the left (the swarthier a group is the more inherently noble they are in the eyes of the left).
The Brits and Germans absolutely loathe themselves.
But the Southern Europeans have no natural defense against the trans variant of the Woke Virus.

Being a kid of the 80's and turning on MTV and seeing every guy wearing a lot of makeup this doesn't shock me as much. However the musicians and singers that wore the makeup never thought they were trans or promoted that you could be the opposite sex. It was just apart of their costume.

and I didn't have or watch MTV other than for like 30 seconds at a friend's house once as we were flipping though their cable TV channels. We settled on Nickelodeon and half the shows on their made me sick too. My parents weren't THAT old time Bible-belt type, either ! NOT picking on those who are, just saying they were less particular although some, and we weren't by any means totally sheltered, although I understand that most 80s and 90s kids would have thought so. Anyways, the coarse, crude, immature.... can't even describe it but some sort of completely godlessness cane though ... that 1 or 2 shows were even older sitcoms, like from the 60s and 70s, and they just made me feel sick. Anyways, so did the rare enough times I saw rock stars in all their makeup and extra-wild or very feminine type way of having long hair ( on some). Makes me sick. So, trans or not, I find it disturbing and it, along with their songs or talk or attitude usually - gives off a very un-healthy vibe.

I live in Australia. If any of our TV adds involve a group of people, then we have to have one of everything. We especially have to have a Drag Queens. Breakfast cereal, Cars, Insurance. You name it, it appears that a Drag Queen is going to sell it to you.

Yeah it's gotten a bit in your face lately eh? The thing that gets me about Aus adverts though is not so much the 'one of everything' but the way if the ad calls for any kind of incompetence to be done, it will ALWAYS be a straight, white male who is incompetent. In fact, almost every time you see a straight white male in an advert you know they're going to be unable to do something straightforward, or they're going to stuff something up that has to be fixed by either a female or an ethnic minority person who is skilled, preferably both. F**k off. There was a garage advert - autotune or something - came on, nothing special but it had competent Aussie guys doing what they do - going around being competent at their chosen skill - I was shocked it got past the censors! I bet they can't wait to neuter even the Insurance Direct guy at some point because he's depicted as being an expert at uncovering insurance deals. Can't have that - he needs to be shown to be not as competent as his female sidekick. Still, I don't mind the inclusions of the 'ethnically diverse' AAMI girls they're all consistently hot (sorry!).

@@manticorenettleable I read about what you are talking about. Its actually in the advertisers code of conduct. Its recommended that women not be seen in a capacity where they are "waiting" on a man. For example in a Kitchen preparing a meal.
And its also recommended that Men do not "save" women in any sort of situation. A tradie demonstrating his competence in a trade is ok, as long as a female is not shown as being helpless.
