- Magnesium, often recognized for its essential role in numerous bodily functions, may not be suitable for everyone and could pose risks for individuals with certain health conditions.
As a vital mineral involved in muscle function, nerve transmission, and energy production, magnesium offers several health benefits. However, it's important to consider potential drawbacks in specific situations:
Magnesium supplements can cause digestive issues such as diarrhea or stomach upset, particularly when taken in high doses. Individuals with kidney problems need to be cautious, as impaired kidney function can lead to an accumulation of magnesium in the body, potentially resulting in toxicity. Additionally, magnesium can interact with certain medications, such as antibiotics or blood pressure drugs, potentially altering their effectiveness. Overconsumption of magnesium supplements can also lead to imbalances in other electrolytes, such as calcium and potassium.
Being aware of these considerations can help in making informed decisions about magnesium intake. If you have concerns, moderating your intake or consulting a healthcare provider is advisable.
Magnesium glycinate is the best
Very true, although other forms of magnesium do have slightly different uses, this one is the best overall and has an absorption rate of about 80%.
this one i use at 420mg one in morn and one b4 bed i have type 2
at a local health store near me, all the Magnesium Glycinate I've found are all blended with Magnesium Oxide and Magnesium Chelate . Glycinate having the higher concentration in the blend

I'm using a topical magnesium spray for neuropathy and it helps with the pain and inflammation. Also taking magnesium drops to put in tea or coffee along with GABA. For anxiety and central nervous system issues. After 3 weeks... Big difference in energy level with no anxiety noted. Feel the best I've felt in years and I'm 80 yrs now.
That's wonderful to hear! It's great that you're experiencing such positive changes in your energy levels and anxiety. Thanks for sharing your experience! 🌟
I've had kidney stones for about 8 years now. Not once did a Dr tell me to take magnesium. WTF !
UMMMM! And he wouldn’t! Big Pharma makes no money, if you get well and thrive.
Thank you for sharing your experience! It's always important to explore all the options available, and magnesium can indeed play a role in kidney health. We appreciate your engagement!

Doctors know absolutely nothing about nutrition so why would I even remotely consider consulting any PhD? What a joke...
thanks for your engagement, Steven
Now that Dr’s have seen the evidence of proper nutrition they will soon behave as if they’ve always known this and even claim they discovered it!
I heard/sense that doctors r glorified drug dealers, in the sense that drug companies incentivize them to sell drugs with vacations, recognition & bonuses--normal capitalist language

Im taking magnesium Glycenate for almost a year now. I tried to stop taking it. My muscle cramp go back again so i itake magnesium Glycenate again
Thank you for sharing your experience! Magnesium glycinate can be beneficial for muscle cramps, but it's always good to assess your overall diet and lifestyle as well.
Why did you mention 1 gram but did not revert to that in the actual clip
I understood it to mean that it doesn't take much Magnesium to reveal the benefits and effects of proper Magnesium consumption.
Something helpful might be to look up "The best and worst forms of Magnesium." I supplement magnesium and potassium together, along with Vitamin K2.

Healthy Forever, What kind of "specific "Magnesium" are you talking about here??? Ty!
YES! Just saying magnesium is way too general
magnesium glycinate has the best absorbtion
@@Quandemetrius ok, but what magnesium are THEY referring to here. Glycinate helps with sleep, Taurate is good for your muscles, malate for your heart, citrate for bowel movements and on and on. Are they just lumping all magnesium together???

Citrate
Magnesium glycinate is the best
I am taking magnesium citrate during meals to prevent oxalates from food/ vegetables, fruits to be deposited in the body and magnesium glycinate or a capsule of 5 types of magnesium, don’t use magnesium.
Can you be a little more specific? There are so many kinds of magnesium
I take magnesium taurate for heart health and magnesium Malate for my muscles. Is that too much magnesium overall?
