- Hey all. It's finally decided! This is my build for Elden Ring's DLC, and it turned out even better than I expected! This build allows for a lot of overpowered weapons and setups as well as being an OP Build that is versatile too! This is one I'm happy to take on Elden Ring's DLC with!

Maliketh Black Blade Is my go to. super cool,super fun,big lore,and has B scaling in both strength and faith. that's insane
Seriously this is probably this most versatile and fun play style period! Im actually running a similar setup for DLC! Nightriders glaive, Silurias tree, Ordovis's Greatsword, and Envoy's longhorn are gonna be my main weapons! Im thinking about adding the Crainal Vessel cuz it gets a B in faith! It does really solid damage and has a fun moveset so yeah! Seeing that the Iron Greatsword I might go ahead and farm for one, had no idea it got such high scaling on faith infusions! Great vid as always! 🤘🏽

I'm definitely changing to this build once I've fully explore Bleed. There's so much versatility shown here from Colossal weapons to huge ashes to incantations. Thanks for the great video! It has everything needed for each build and discusses your choices really well.

The Wild Strikes build with a Heavy Rusted Anchor is unbelievable. Just slapping the big bosses that have been giving me so much trouble

I was planning on doing something similar with dex/faith. It allows me to use both weapons and incantations for fire, lightning, and holy damage. Dex for me allows faster casting and better scaling for some weapons(bolt of gransaxx and sacred relic sword). Love your vids!
Nice and thank you! 🙏 I like dex & faith too, but capping my levels at 150 strength is easier with the 1.5x two handed bonus. 🤘

If you have soft capped strength and faith and other stats are decent I’d recommend going for a lord of frenzied flame build, I tried it out and it’s actually pretty fun using vykes war spear. Vykes war spear and frenzied burst are actually pretty fun to use in pvp too.
Great vid. Good to see new build ideas away from the strong metas that can work. Are you going into dlc on NG+7 or is that just more to show what the builds can do?
Thanks! I’m going in at 150 (same stats here) just not sure if I’m doing NG, NG+ or NG+7. I may do NG first then second playthrough will be on a NG+7 character.

Cool builds and stuff but honestly, i just really really wish that all the versatility was in one specific balanced and perfect build. Like using two weapons or different ashes of war. Btw awesome video as usual.
Thank you! That is good to have but tbh I need versatility going in. Too many bosses have too many different weaknesses & resistances.
Going Strength and Faith as well. Too much versatility. Love being able to swap between Maliketh's Black Blade, Marikas Hammer, Ordovis Greatsword and Blasphemous Blade

Love your stuff. Is it possible to make more builds that consists of 2 different buildups? I think those are interesting and would love to try more of those. I know you have one, but would love to see what you can come up with..

Yooo you gave me an idea, I will use these stats to make a crucible knight build with ordovis's greatsword and siluria's tree along with lightning and fire incantations(I hope it will be good😁)
I still run my int build basically, with the sword you get from end boss. That sword is still amazing to me. Sometimes i switch to dual curved with sepukku, or the long sword build...

Nice build! I have something similar prepared, but when you said confessor I guess you mean Prophet? Hero or Prophet seem the best choices as they have the lowest Int at 7 as you have on the video.
Yeah either of those 2 work, this class was hero. But I like the prophet & confessor classes too. Also thanks! 🤘
Very good choices! I'm in the same boat. Have played nearly 100 combinations of weapons/stats but I feel faith/strength is the best. I also really love some lightning dex/faith combos but strength is just more versatile. I'll go with a Scythe or Iron Sword build...or with my beloved raptors talons. These bad boys are strong with strength or dex.

the watchdogs greatsword build looks really cool, think im gonna take that into dlc

@metaphysicalparadox my guy an advice, don't use it it's not worth it. The greatsword or the zheiwander is way better because the watchdog has less range, you'll deal less damage even though it has high scalling but it's because it's damage is low and it looks uglier compared to the two, but if you still want to use it go ahead
@@dudu_alonne yeah the base damage on GUTS is really good. But the scaling on watchdogs is a nice bonus. They’re actually close with sacred blade with identical stats. GUTS has better base damage, watchdogs better scaling.
@dudu_alonne already got it to +25 😂. It's not always about having the most powerful build ever especially for me because I have nearly 1000 hours in this game (not to brag), so I like using things that look cool and aren't super op

For DLC I’m probably gonna run my Str/INT “simp for Ranni” build that was my original character.

@TheKingofRedLightning In your various videos, I've seen you use various seals, Giant Seal, Erdtree Seal and Clawsman Seal for your Blasphemous Blade builds, which one is the best overall Seal for that build? thx
This one is specific to whatever boost it has. Giants seal for giants incantations, gravel stone for lightning etc. Erdtree is a great well rounded seal but at 80 faith. At 60 Faith the boost you’ll get for the different ones makes it best to change based on what incantations you’re using. So no single seal lol clawmark is nice for this style, but it’s scaling even with strength & faith isn’t great.

So, I have my build at 200 capped, ((since I am an old gamer (over 50) I need all the help I can get with reaction time lol.))
What would you, or how would you spread an extra 50 points into your build stats? Should I put +10 in Strength and Faith or spread that 50 around to any other particular stats? Or add +25 to both Strength and Faith? cheers
@@dinosp8th I would just get to 70-80 faith & strength if you can. You’ll get even more damage. 🤘also maybe some more mind/endurance too.

Which would you say for that build; are Best in Slot though?
If you have them both Millicent’s prosthesis & rotten winged. If you don’t, one of those 2, ritual sword, shard & lord of blood’s. 🤘
I'm not sure if this works on Xbox, but you can save scrub (upload/download method on PS4/5) to avoid using larval tears over and over again.

Is this the Hero starter class in the video? I know you mentioned confessor, but hero also reaches these stats at 150
Yep! Confessor is prob best for faith builds, but my character is from around launch. It’s Hero. 🤘
I am currently doing a versatile faith run and as much as I prefer my arcane runs it isn’t as versatile as faith
The fact that by swapping certain/talismans & tears we get to have so much variety in weapons & play style is insane

Yeah that’s why I didn’t even cover it for this video. Aside from the Frenzy Burst for mobs & Frenzy Flame for big targets, they’re fairly PvP centric.
Is Dex/Faith good for lighting Bandit sword build?
It’s good sure, but strength & faith is way more versatile imo.
I'm probably going to regret it but I will be going ng+7 because I'm to lazy to grind a new character, but I am farming the shit out of those albinarics planning to get to level 500 ( I'm level 460 ).
You should be fine, I’m sure the combat system will even everything out (hopefully lol).

Definitely a good build, but I personally wouldn't use some of the options provided here. Something like the envoy's longhorn or Ancient Dragon Lightning would just take the fun out of fighting bosses for the first time. Also, I don't want to take the best spells and weapons in the game into the DLC because it might be difficult to convince myself to try some of the new options that way. Even though DLC in Fromsoft games usually adds some of the strongest stuff.

Why do we have to stop at level 150?
I stop at RL 150 for people that do PvP and also for a challenge. After about 250+ it’s not really building as much either since you can basically do anything lol

It’s “Your Average Variety Gamer” the shard quest & rotten winged in the description are both on that channel/my alt. 🤘
I went with a Confessor build, and it will only let me have all the stats. Except Faith, as it will only allow me to put it to 50. With the rest of those stats. So for some reason, my Blasphemous Blade build can't get those extra ten in Faith. And follow that build, I'm guessing that's a Samurai?
Nah it’s the faith tear I’m using. It’ll add up to 160 with those 10 levels. 🤘

@@fallenangelyt1590 the metas for PvP are 80, 125 & 150. Faith or strength tears won’t impact that.
What stats do I upgrade past level 150?

Why is there no talisman for Increasing your damage when in vicinity of frostbite? Or a talisman that boosts damage for unsuccessive attacks, like 5-10 seconds in between? Youuuuu guessed it- Because From Software hates me
Black Myth Wu Kong is only boss fights I think- kind of a turn off for me
They might add more talismans for DLC let’s hope. Also I heard it was short missions (5-10 mins) & bosses. I’d be good with that for sure 👍
Amazing build, but honestly 60 vigor in NG is just way too much, 40 is enough, now count greatrunes in and use drsgoncrestgreatshield talisman(must have for every build) and you have more than enough hp and spare 20 points to spent on mind/faith/endurance or even dex. And if 20 spare points are too much you can still drop your vigor down to only 50. But 60 are really too much and kinda wasted points.
I’m on NG+7 here. So 60 is good, also for PvP you’d want 60 as well if you’re playing at RL 150. 40 is pretty glass cannon on NG+ & beyond. For DLC itself I’d recommend 50 on NG if that’s what you’re going into DLC on, minimum. Souls’ DLC’s are the hardest bosses typically.
It's been awhile but a handful of bosses can basically one shot you a 40 vig
