Wow. Solid guide, good instruction, nice quality. I came back to my new game+ after a LONG time and was completely lost as to what I needed to do to get to the dlc. Started a new character, dex this time (strength and spellcaster before) and this guide helped SO much! Subbed, cheers.
What I did was made one character for each build "intelligence, strength, faith, arcane and dexterity" and got them all up to speed in terms of just defeating the bosses needed for the dlc as well as using wrong warp to get higher upgrade materials and early strong weapons.
@loureed1226 I only got that far because I still want to get into the dlc at a decent level to collect new stuff, and go back into the main game and experience it with the new weapons and what not.

I made a character that made no max level weapons (just one level under) to save the stones and no respects. When I finished the game (picked up everything) I backed up my save so I can just load my save and make any character I want and level whatever weapon to max and play the DLC.
I just went for a strength build for the base game, completed all of the main content while juggling I think 23 NPC questlines throughout for a bunch of useful rewards, then after that I just went box ticking for all other talismans, sorceries, incantations, spell catalysts I could get, as well as all memory stones, containers (cracked pots, ritual pots, perfume bottles) obtainable max level smithing stones and larval tears. I had MUCH better success switching to a bleed build and shredding the content instead of sticking with Iron balls the whole time... Not sure why the guide did this. or at least did not suggest better easy builds for new players.
Yeah I have to agree with you on that. Having come back to the game after a while on a new character I'm super rusty (and was never THAT good in the first place 😁). There's some great tips here but "easy" is not the way I'd describe it. I followed the guide up until Radahn and realised Iron balls may not be the way to deal with him. Might try bleed myself and see how it goes, since I was dex/int on my original playthrough and want to try something different this time round!

@@aardappelgang6335 well it's not just a little overleveled. Most people stop around 120-150 for their playthrough, regardless of what NG cycle they're in.
