When I started hearing your biblical series about Genesis about six years ago I was an atheist with strong nihilistic leanings. Today, when I hear your work on Exodus, I'm a believer, I study theology at the university with the aim of becoming a priest, I'm married, I go to church, I have a child that I love deeply; I try, and at moments I'm even able to try as hard as I'm able to. Thank you for playing your part in making me aim high. Deeply, thank you.
Atheists are individuals that are mad at the world and choose to not believe in God because of the evil and darkness that pervades reality - they hate themselves in the midst of it. It’s an emotional argument. I hope time has made you realize it. Out of all the animals on this planet, the human is the most rational animal on the planet relative to other animals, and how could the most intelligent animal not believe in God IF WE ARE THE ONLY ANIMAL CAPABLE OF STUDYING AND ANALYZING THE MECHANISMS AND FUNCTIONS OF GOD! Glad to hear your faith is strong, my brotha 🙏
There is something comforting in the meaningless of life, you get to choose what matters. I don't yet know what I'll attach the most importance to, but that's part of the trip I guess.
It's a shame he didn't bring on anyone who actually knows the Bible though. Or history apparently. Claiming the American revolution came from the French revolution and the Torah is a flat out lie. Whether he knows it or not. But I suppose you won't like my comment despite the truth being at stake.
What you think you see is hidden by God. What you think is happening is not the whole truth. Who is coming, that is beyond your limited understanding will soon reveal himself in a way the Bible only hints at. No point to point out your limited knowledge. What matter because goodness is about permeate this Earth in the form of Christ's return and occupanied by intelligent life from beyond our imagination. Discussing the Bible is better than nilhists who would burn it eh? Break your preconceptions.❤ be happy. @@joshportie

It's good.. better than the usual filth we see on the internet. But the wisdom of man is foolishness to God. I love JP I do.. but he's not quite there when it comes to his doctrine (much worse is Prager)
Colossians 2:8 warns against being spoiled by philosophy and vain deceit, following human tradition and the rudiments of the world, and not following Christ.123 The word "philosophy" means "love of wisdom," and every philosophy is essentially a humanistic devotion to man's wisdom for its own sake.0 However, such wisdom is false wisdom and derives in type from "the tree of knowledge," through the "vain deceit" of Satan, who tries to persuade us that partaking of it would "make one wise" and that "your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods."
By Jordan's own admission, he's not approaching it from a theological standpoint, but the academic and psychological standpoints. I think you're mistaken to assume any doctrinal view on his part.
My 15 year old son looks up to you as a role model, Dr. Peterson. He discovered you on his own. I was delighted to find out that he likes and follows you. You speak to him in ways that make sense, especially about dealing with depression. He really needs a strong, principled, intelligent, male role model. Thank you for helping my son make it through a dark time so he can push through to the other side. Never doubt that you are making a huge difference in the lives of young men.

I'm rather taken aback by how much they pull out of what seems to be a simple sentence. Almost too much, esp. by Dr. Peterson. Just my initial response to it all. I'd like to hear more from the other participants.

I just prayed for this man JORDAN PETERSON; while praying I almost cried. Wow what a testimony of prayer. I 💯 believe that God raised up Dr. Peter's to fight the evil of transgenderism and the fights that men fight without recognition.

You mean modern priests and scribes. They are reinterpreting the Bible for the deceived. 2 Peter 1:20-21 King James Version 20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. 21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. Tyndale spoke his famous words, “I defy the Pope and all his laws. . . . If God spare my life ere many years, I will cause a boy that driveth the plow, shall know more of the Scripture than thou dost.” John 10:27-28 King James Version 27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: 28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. I have not heard His voice from them yet, but I'll keep listening.
When I was a believer but a “lukewarm” one, none of this would have made sense. I’ve tried to read some parts of the Bible before but it sounded above my head. Ever since I’ve been born again, reading the Bible is therapy to me. It makes sense now, in ways I never saw before. I’m thirsty and searching for more and this video has helped that. Cheers to only the beginning. God is endless and I can’t wait to spend my entire life chasing him. ❤ prayers and love to you all
The substance of Eternal life...dear friend...knowing our saviour more intimately. Keep digging deep in his word you will find more hidden treasure And this is the way to have eternal life-to know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, the one you sent to earth. John 17:3

Don't be discouraged. Be "a good Berean and search the scriptures d a i l y". So here's the very best advice I ever got from a teacher/pastor: Read the Bible for yourself and become familiar with everything that's in there". And I will add, Even if you don't understand it all. But like Mark Twain said, " it's not the parts I don't understand that scare me, but the parts I DO understand that scare me!" Happy Reading 💙😁👍

What do you mean Torah Jew? That you don't interpret it using the talmud? And actually let the Bible speak for itself? There are a couple small sects like this that's why I ask. Much like these guys framing everything from the Catholic perspective and not history or the Bible.
Torah Jew- as in I live according to written and oral tradition (torah and Talmud and Halacha and Kabbalah and chassidut to the best of my ability) I hate the term orthodox but that was my intention.
As a lifetime atheist who has recently taken an interest in matters of faith I really appreciate being able to benefit from the wisdom of you fellows and your deep insights gained through deep assessment of these texts. Far beyond any conclusions I could reach on my own, thank you guys.
Good on you for having an open mind. Hope you gain lots of knowledge and wisdom from your studies regardless of whether you ever end up converting or not.

You might Like Tim Mackey and the bible project, or Bishop Barron too. They both bring some intelligence and scholarly perspective to biblical teaching that elevates above dogma. Tim from his knowledge of the Etymology of Hebrew ,Greek and Aramaic words which brings passages to life in nuanced ways we don't always perceive, and his calm kind, egoless demeanor. And the good Bishop because he is an extremely intelligent man and philosopher at heart, also a big Bob Dylan fan 😂 who is very well versed amd knowlegable of the best and greatest historical theologians. I always gain so much when i listen to either of them. 😊
As someone who has always struggled to communicate clearly and argue effectively I really appreciate the notion that Moses went from being unable to speak well and communicate to someone who's very well spoken and with a commanding enough presence that he was trusted with conveying God's commandments to the people. Perhaps there's hope for me yet!
Yes there is hope in Christ. I struggle as well. But I know God change times and circumstances, he is able to teach us and grant us wisdom and knowledge. He did it for Moses, Salomon and David and his friends. All wisdom, knowledge and ubderstanding are hidden in Christ.
Very good point. The Jews hold Mosses in very high esteem, even though they rejected and rebelled against Christ. Question perhaps, would you say since Mosses was a torch bearer, and led them from the evil tyranny in Egypt, would you say he accomplished more than Jesus? He literally saved all of them from the evil tyrants under Pharaoh.
I can't stress this enough. We have a group of experts in various fields, who 1) chose a morally, historically, and philosophically epochal topic, 2) voluntarily came together with the honest intention of discovering as much knowledge from it as possible in an uncensored form with no narrative other than to understand the truth for what it really is, and 3) made it publically available with no paywall or barriers. This is the definition of "symposium." This is the very activity that, beginning with the ancient Greeks, has been continuously stated as the highest form of good and intrinsically valuable thing mankind is capable of. The fact that this video exists for free makes my eyes water a little bit. Add to it that, as now, it has over 2 million views, meaning that millions of people value the same thing in this as I do. Hats off to everyone who made this happen. If the world ever tries to take this activity from us in our lifetime, you will have my sword without hesitation.
Is that what JESUS would Want you to do? How many did Jesus or the apostles run through? How many would you be willing to run through? What would your Bible study meeting be like with all that blood on your hands?

As much as I appreciate jordan peterson and this bunch... he still just sees the Bible as an intellectual exercise. Another comment mentioned Jack Hibbs, he's a good teacher. He tends to get too much into politics, but I appreciate everything he does. My favorite teachers are John Macarthur (of course), Mike Fabarez, and voddie baucham. If you really want to feel the power of the Bible, listen to the message "brokenness" by voddie baucham.
@alakazoom87 actually...he doesn't just look at it as an intellectual exercise..clearly evidenced in his lectures and interviews. And also...the Bible 100% stands up to intellectual excerise and believers should also study from it through that lense as well. God gave us brains and intellect to use and wrestle with Him.
Awesome that you are reading it! I’m a huge fan of Dr. Peterson, and his take on biblical study is interesting at least! However that being said, remember that he is approaching the scripture from a certain perspective, and you may take from his thought ideas that drastically differ from orthodox, catholic, or Protestant understanding of the scripture, and thus a more traditional study is VERY encouraged! Still, enjoy the series! It’s a deep one.

Jordan thinks thoroughly & has been accurate thus far. Study The Word and know that Jesus sacrificed Himself and allowed the Gentiles to be a part of God’s chosen also. He’s like the umpire that allowed the Old Testament to gain forgiveness and lets Us talk and pray to God. The Old Testament people were methodical and required them to only speak to God through a Priest. It also Required daily animal and grain sacrifice…..that’s why Jesus had so much love for both the Jewish and the Gentiles(or Greeks)…I am thankful that God reveals His Word at the time that I need it…Hide God’s Word in your memory (in the case that the Word is banned, you will need it….
What truth? The ultimate truth is Jesus Christ died for the sins of the whole world, not that it happened in a philosophical sense, it actually historically happened. They can discuss all they want, if they don’t believe on Him they are condemned.

@@stevenyoung3752 don't mean to be a prick, but I'd recommend watching Jay Dyer's content regarding Roman Catholicism. I think you're making a mistake. Either way, God Bless you.
@naikhanomtom7552 Yeah, I've watched tons of Dyer. I'm investigating Orthodoxy. But I don't think Essence/Energies Distinction is ultimately tenable or reconcilable with an immutable God. The idea that God's Energies can be uncreated but have a beginning doesn't seem coherent. The idea that God's Energies are also His essence makes more sense to me. Dyer's objections haven't convinced me yet but he is extremely intelligent, extremely well educated and a very impressive man overall. I understand his objections with the modern Catholic hierarchy and papacy as well, as a traditional catholic I can agree with a lot of what he says. But thus far, bad popes and corrupt hierarchies have never contradicted church teachings and have always been corrected with time. I would also respectfully recommend that you look into some Catholic objections of Palamism and Orthodox ecclesiology. Overall I think we're separated brethren in Christ. But, in order to reunite, Palamism and other errors will have to be reconciled with Catholic theology. God bless, brother. ✝️

What I love about the discussions is that everyone is coming from a different perspective, but yet everyone is committed to respecting and listening to each other, and is ultimately on their journey to discover truth.
When He (Christ), who the OT people where purposed for, finally came into the world, the OT people denied, betrayed, abused and killed Him. They committed the greatest sin that man has ever committed (Theocide). Having broken Covenant with Divine purpose, hear what Christ said to the Jews Matt 23:38 "See, your house is left to you desolate" Those who killed to Son, do not have the Father ! JOHN 15:23 23Whoever hates Me hates My Father as well. 24If I had not done among them the works that no one else did, they would not be guilty of sin; but now they have seen and hated both Me and My Father.
I'm on Episode 10 of the series... TBCH, I cannot speak highly enough of it... It's just so interesting the conversations they have as they deep dive into the book of Exodus and I have learned so much from it. I fully plan on watching the entire series at least 2x and I'm very hopeful that they continue the journey by exploring other books...
Your lectures on Genesis changed my worldview and understanding when I encountered them on a cross-country road trip in 2018, in my mid-20's. I never thought I'd have been so gripped by a lecture series on the psychological significance of the Bible, but it was absolutely transformative. I attribute much of my 'growing the hell up' and voluntary adoption of responsibility to you and those lectures.
I'm not joking when I say I've been waiting for this exodus series for more than 5 years now. Thank you for changing my life, thank you for everything.
This secular conversation of Scripture has been more spiritually edifying than anything I've seen on Sunday. Thank you so much for sharing this with us.
That is probably because Sunday Mornings are tailored towards a wide sweep of people, and are monologues, not conversations. Few preachers know how to preach conversationally to make it more like this either. If you want something deeper try going to a midweek bible study. Or if you just want more content that is deep check out The Bible Project. It is even deeper than this, and is likewise conversational rather than one guy preaching at you.
The world would be a better place if we spent our time analyzing the Bible and harmonizing scripture to this extent, learning from kne another and growing. I have never been so captivated by a round table all my life. This was just beautiful, so much wisdom in one room.
Yep sure, would. Going around killing gay people and those wearing mixed fabrics because our "studies" told us to. Are you really that idiotic? The world USED to be like this and it was just as horrid as it is now, just in a different way.
Is Amazing how the word of GOD is being used and preached on the last days. Thank you for bringing this series, free of charge, to us. God blessed all these men for their time.
It is so refreshing to have such great minds respectfully analysing and reasoning out this part of the bibles teachings. I have often heard members of the 12 step program AA share their storey's of being at their rock bottom and crying out to a power greater than themselves for help and how being humble and powerless in the presence of something that will guide them and give them strength to overcome thier addiction has brought them into daily prayer and meditation and pure divine miracles that can't be explained. ❤️
Thank you God 🥺 I have been reading the bible every day for almost a year and It’s been on my heart to really know and understand the word . Reading and learning God’s word hands down has been and will be the greatest pursuit of my life
As a Christian who loves reading the Bible every day, I am in awe by this amazing seminar. I am beyond thankful for making this available free. I have been longing to read the Torah too. Blessings!
Thank you for this. Exodus has been my favorite book of God's Word since I was a kid. It shows His love, His power, and His redemptive plan for us all.
@@pdestefanobecause it's not actually about determining whether egyptian or jew lives in the house. It was about choice, faith, and submission to God's command.
@pdestefano Because the Self proclaimed God of the Old testament is only sated with blood, child sacrifice, and murder. Yeshua came to the earth to redeem us from this false "God of this World". This "God" even lies and murders his own prophet Moshe. He lied to Adam and Eve in the Garden... Heck... He even proclaims to Yeshua in the new testament that he controls all the kingdoms of the earth and tempts Yeshua with them as a gift for submitting to him. MATTHEW 4:8-9 The Great Deception is that the world will lift up a false God in the 3rd Jewish Temple, believing that it is the one true God. Yahweh even proclaims himself as The Beast of Revelation in Hosea 13 7-8 The Lion, The Leopard and The Bear. These people know not what they do. They think they serve the one true God and have no idea how decieved they are. This is why Yeshua will tell them "I never knew you". Intention. Motivation. Purpose. Faith. Hope. Love. You will know the one true God by these. He is not a genocidal maniac. Only good things come from the Father. The Father is love and peace. The self proclaimed imposter God, The Deciever, The Usurper, The Father of All Lies, is not The Father in Heaven, but the Father of this World. Yeshua will restore us to eternal life. That which was taken from us by the "Murderer from the beginning". He who has ears to hear, let him hear. He who eyes to see, let them see. The truth is right in the text. You don't need any special person to translate it for you. The God of the Jews is The God of this World, just as is written plainly in the text.
@@johncarroll772 they are? Don't let your egoic pride get in the way, champ. Even in the introduction, Peterson says he wanted to get all these minds together. But I wasn't expecting much intellect from a literal emoji user. "Laughcryfacex17"
This Exodus series is absolutely phenomenal. I will never approach the Book of Exodus the same after experiencing this. Not even in seminary do you receive this level of insight and commentary.
OMG! Where else could one find such a discussion on these topics! I've listened to Dr. Peterson for years while he was teaching in Canada. His lectures mean a lot to me! I love learning, and am grateful for these discussions that are offered here! Thank -You, All, for sacrifices, energy, and fortitude to make this possible for all! ❤😎🎻
As I watch this, I get the sense that this is a God-led conversation. Not to make too much of these men, but to make much of God. May God’s spirit give us wisdom to discern!
It might be more compelling if the exodus story was even slightly true or there was the slightest evidence it happened. JBP is fantastic, but this obsession with superstitious belief is not going to help rid the world of communists or communism. Christianity was the first communism/socialism commune.
@@avengingme Anything related to promoting an all powerful, perfectly invisible, perfectly benevolent, perfectly just, yet perfectly merciful being without evidence as though it is true is *dogmatism* Nobody in the Luke-Acts conversions asked about evidence, or fact checking to see if the claims could be true. We know they cannot be true at all. Nobody survives room temperature death and rigor mortis; nobody flies away without the aid of technology after that either. It just doesn't happen and it never happened - ever.
Jordan, thank you so much for these. I don’t know if it’s just “coincidence” or not but these discussions come in usually at a little over 2 hours but under 2.5 hours. Which just happens to be roughly 10 percent of a day. Meaning that on busy days re-watching/listening to any given episode of this series will be a perfect substitute for our daily time tithed toward our God. Ps. There are no coincidences.
You believe in tithing time to God? And that this is you doing God a favor? I don't understand that. God is never too busy for us. Jesus was not too busy to die a terrible death for us... it's frustrating that so many of us only give our leftover time to God. Just food for thought. I do not know a place in Scripture where God asks for a tenth of our day. I'm not doing God any favors by praying or in Bible study. He is doing something wonderful for me.
I have been a relatively liberal Democrat all of my life, and I am so extremely grateful for men like Dennis Prager and Jordan Peterson for helping me widen my perceptions of the world. The world is so much richer and deeper than I ever knew. Truly, liberals and conservatives would realize that we have so much more in common if we would only listen sincerely to one another! And as Dr. Peterson says, speak truth, as opposed to prescribed cultural narrative. What I've learned these past few years is that speaking truth requires discovering it for yourself in the first place, which is a deep and introverted task that is not for the lazy or the coward!
Phenomenal... I've been waiting for this series to creep out from behind its "pay-wall" for what feels like an eternity. Thank you for keeping your word and bringing this incredible discussion to the YT masses. I commend you and your integrity, Dr. Peterson.

Because of you have returned back to study my Bible all over again viewing the Scriptures with an eye of a trained Molecular Neuroscience. I believe this will benefit the Christian faith. I’m watching and reading you closely!! Thank you, Professor Peterson.
Thank you for posting on RUclips for free. Many of us can’t subscribe to all of the great content available behind a paywall. This is so important of a discussion and to bring to the forefront the importance of the Bible.
I hope and pray that after all of this scholarly lectures, debates, conferences, Mr. Peters finds the truth in Jesus Christ. Way to go Jordan, one step closer to hope. God bless you and thank you for all your great work.
I really am appreciating the candor of Prager. Having a Jewish Bible scholar understanding the root of the language is fascinating. Great seeing Jew, Christian, and artist/mystic discussing Spiritual matters. I’m riveted. Glad that I’m a salesman with an abundance of windshield time on the road to digest this content.
Riveted - that’s such an appropriate word when describing how I was while listening. Also agree on Dennis Prager - one of my most favorite people to listen to and learn from. His discussions with Eric Metaxas are pointed, often humorous, but that cause me to pause and consider, especially when hearing Prager’s Jewish historical perspective. But back to this panel discussion - wow - Thoughtful, humble, using their God-given intellect to seek Him more deeply and reflect more honestly on ourselves and our walk, our existence with God.
This is all a sham. This is taking place in Africa but these people want you to believe the people involved are white. There were no white Pharaohs or white Hebrews. If any of you were honest with yourself you would know the truth about this story and all the people who were there were black Africans.
Outstanding opening to the series. I especially like the dialogue around “do you really know someone before they are tested”. There is a tremendous depth to that question that explains both the resentful despair of many people today and the optimistic hope of others. Thanks, Dennis, for asking the question and thanks to everyone for the synergistic responses.
I think a lot of us fail a test or a challenge and feel cheated into despair because we didn’t grow up with these kinds of conversations. Our gut is telling us something completely different than our collective “modern” teachings. If we can’t appreciate the human spirit what is there to be grateful for? How are we able to celebrate our triumphs and overcome failures? We have a lot of people telling us to be ashamed of our history instead of appreciating how we far we have come. The Bible is so grounding in this way. God’s chosen people made many missteps and were at times overcome by corruption and enemies. That was never the end of their story. It was usually the beginning of one. We all have the ability to shine with the light of the divine and transcendent even when we’ve been brought down to our baser levels. We can’t hang onto both at the same time. We have to let go of one to embrace the other. I think it’s coming down to an individual choice that sorts us into His chosen people. Not because any of us are inherently better than the rest, but because we choose to commit to the challenge with free will. These discussions are helping me to understand so much! I did not grow up in a place of worship. I read the Bible after being raised in a secular life. So, I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to be catapulted into a deeper understanding with people like you and the ones bringing the conversation to us.
This has left me with a desire to read the whole bible and analyze it line by line, not just skim over the commonly known part. Thank you for making this content free. It’s 2:30 am and I am chuckling, engaged, and motivated by listening to you all talking about the Old Testament Bible.

The bible is the ultimate source of wisdom for life. It’s an amazing journey. I can say this as a proper hardened ex atheist. If you humble your heart and read it and be open minded . It truly is life changing book with sensational transformative power within. It’s packed full of truth and common sense I think even the most skeptical atheists could read the New Testament and agree with the moral teachings within. Especially in todays crazy world . People will be shocked at how much common sense is in there
Churches do Bible Studies all the time. Look for a Lutheran Church (Missouri Synod), they regularly have multiple groups meeting to discuss a variety of books of the Bible basically all the time. You're not going to see quite the same level of intellectual firepower on display here, but LCMS very reliably has a collection of bright people (college educated, sometimes with advanced degrees) attending most studies.

Congrats a little similar history here, thx for sharing, blessings!
Atheists are individuals that are mad at the world and choose to not believe in God because of the evil and darkness that pervades reality - they hate themselves in the midst of it. It’s an emotional argument. I hope time has made you realize it.

What a relief to here intelligent people discussing intelligent ideas. No hissy fits or drama. Just a great interchange of ideas.
It's good.. better than the usual filth we see on the internet. But the wisdom of man is foolishness to God. I love JP I do.. but he's not quite there when it comes to his doctrine (much worse is Prager)
@@alakazoom87Then, I am most curious on what your doctrine would be friend. Please, ellaborate.

I have indeed. Thank you for your prayers. It has taken me 11 days to watch this all the way through. I had to keep stopping to write notes in my bible, write essays in my journal. @@Reiman33Well said. It’s a tragedy.
That's exactly why Paul tells us to be in a church, because there's things you can learn from others, and others from you. It's a gathering of like minded people(ideally), with 1 goal: to know God. You can get to that place with a roundtable of friends or even just a spouse/close friend who has those conversations, and you should aim to! As much as I appreciate jordan peterson and this bunch... he still just sees the Bible as an intellectual exercise.
Another comment mentioned Jack Hibbs, he's a good teacher. He tends to get too much into politics, but I appreciate everything he does.

This was the most insightfull screen time I have spend in a long time and I'm realy looking forward to more of this content in the future. So to all the participants and people involved in making Dr. Petersons dream reality a very big THANK YOU, you're truly doing god's work. Onwards and upwards.

My deepest gratitude to Dr. Peterson and the round table crew for shining light onto us.
Yup! The proud cannot come to God because they are to prideful of themselves and of life to bow down to Christ, you must be humble and have humility
Humility is the foundation of spirituality, the great saints always stressed it. The greatest sin in christianity is pride.
That's exactly what I gathered in summary and commented above on this same personal epiphany... Great insight my friends 😊
Hope you came out the other side well🙏🏻

Required daily animal and grain sacrifice…..that’s why Jesus had so much love for both the Jewish and the Gentiles(or Greeks)…I am thankful that God reveals His Word at the time that I need it…Hide God’s Word in your memory (in the case that the Word is banned, you will need it….

That is probably because Sunday Mornings are tailored towards a wide sweep of people, and are monologues, not conversations. Few preachers know how to preach conversationally to make it more like this either. If you want something deeper try going to a midweek bible study.

As a Christian who loves reading the Bible every day, I am in awe by this amazing seminar. I am beyond thankful for making this available free. I have been longing to read the Torah too. Blessings!
Well, it seems like its no longer free… money can buy everyone i guess
Thank you for this. Exodus has been my favorite book of God's Word since I was a kid. It shows His love, His power, and His redemptive plan for us all.
It always struck me as so forgiving. Humans complain so much. We are annoying in this book! And God is Longsuffering.
During that pass-over bit though... why can't God, ya know, see through doors?
@@pdestefanobecause it's not actually about determining whether egyptian or jew lives in the house. It was about choice, faith, and submission to God's command.
@@jhildebrand7447 I just finished the book of Judges and wow, it was a great mirror of humanity.
MATTHEW 4:8-9
The Great Deception is that the world will lift up a false God in the 3rd Jewish Temple, believing that it is the one true God.
Prayers to those teaching truth, faith, and how to stand with Lord's support and protection.
Absolutely appreciate the free content Thank you so much Dr Peterson!
This is one of the most profound things I’ve ever listened to. I feel like this series is something I’ve needed my entire life.
Once again Dr. Jordan Peterson delivers amazing content. God Bless You Dr. Peterson and all of your wonderful guests on this amazing series.
@@johncarroll772 they are? Don't let your egoic pride get in the way, champ.
Even in the introduction, Peterson says he wanted to get all these minds together. They ARE guests, at worst you can misconstrue Peterson as a fellow "guest" to DW, but that is downright dishonest if you recall what was shared about their contract.
But I wasn't expecting much intellect from a literal emoji user. "Laughcryfacex17"
This Exodus series is absolutely phenomenal. I will never approach the Book of Exodus the same after experiencing this. Not even in seminary do you receive this level of insight and commentary.
Or any other book of the Bible for that matter. 👍
Super interesting having this kind of discussions of the bible in a different level, love to hear Mr Peterson and his accompaniments.
Thanks Dr. Petersen. This is a much needed discussion not just for religion sake but to bring people together as a nation under God.
It is always imperfect men that are closest to God, I think. It is required that you be broken in order to truly seek transcendence.
@@avengingme Heavy on dogma, heavy on passion, heavy on sincerity; low on evidence; same as communism.
@troy3456789 what dogma is present in my comment?
@@avengingme Anything related to promoting an all powerful, perfectly invisible, perfectly benevolent, perfectly just, yet perfectly merciful being without evidence as though it is true is *dogmatism*
Nobody in the Luke-Acts conversions asked about evidence, or fact checking to see if the claims could be true. We know they cannot be true at all. Nobody survives room temperature death and rigor mortis; nobody flies away without the aid of technology after that either. It just doesn't happen and it never happened - ever.
As Bishop Barron said: “faith is the willingness, under God’s providence, to risk some great adventure.”
Yes a magic puppeteer is pulling all the strings. Amen
It's because they have to set a time limit for each episode 😬
You believe in tithing time to God? And that this is you doing God a favor? I don't understand that. God is never too busy for us. Jesus was not too busy to die a terrible death for us... it's frustrating that so many of us only give our leftover time to God.
Just food for thought. I do not know a place in Scripture where God asks for a tenth of our day. I'm not doing God any favors by praying or in Bible study. He is doing something wonderful for me.
Wow
I'm a leftist that leans more conservative philosophically and I like Jordan psychology though I disagree with his politics.
I pray you reject the deceiver.
@@bonechip01 I pray you reject the deciver too.
Amazingly blessed to see this on RUclips! Thank you to Dr. Peterson and the DW Team for this incredible contribution.
Phenomenal... I've been waiting for this series to creep out from behind its "pay-wall" for what feels like an eternity. Thank you for keeping your word and bringing this incredible discussion to the YT masses. I commend you and your integrity, Dr. Peterson.
When He (Christ), who the OT people where purposed for, finally came into the world, the OT people denied, betrayed, abused and killed Him.
They committed the greatest sin that man has ever committed (Theocide).
Having broken Covenant with Divine purpose, hear what Christ said to the Jews
Matt 23:38
"See, your house is left to you desolate"
Those who killed to Son, do not have the Father !
JOHN 15:23
23Whoever hates Me hates My Father as well. 24If I had not done among them the works that no one else did, they would not be guilty of sin; but now they have seen and hated both Me and My Father.
@@NickNameMatters 100%.
The call to spread the word needs to be more effective than a literal ai copy/pasting among comment sections.
Ive gone from being angry about religion as a kid to fascinated by it as an adult. This is good for everyone to hear regardless of what you think you know about everything
what a time to be alive! This is what an around-the-table discussion looks like.
I like the humorous way you think. Blessings.
agree. Prager is being completely humble and open. Truly awesome
You should give a chance to a real rabbi's interpretation of Torah you would love it.
Chuck Missler is one of the best teacher's of the word that I have ever heard he goes book bag book chapter by chapter line-by-line I've just recently been through the old and have now started my second journey I am on the book of Exodus in Chapter 13 with Chuck Missler and moving on it is only a suggestion to you I believe that it would help you in your journey through learning the word and coming to understand a lot of the word of God's purpose and understanding and truth and future for humankind hey humankind he created and love's so dearly the more I learn the more I go through the word the more I become faithful to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and our father GOD's Sacrifice that we may find Salvation and mercy and grace through his son Jesus Christ may the Lord strengthen your understanding and may the holy spirit guide you❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
The bible is the ultimate source of wisdom for life. It’s an amazing journey.
I can say this as a proper hardened ex atheist. If you humble your heart and read it and be open minded . It truly is life changing book with sensational transformative power within. It’s packed full of truth and common sense
I think even the most skeptical atheists could read the New Testament and agree with the moral teachings within.
Study the history of the bible too. There are great audio lectures from Universities on them
@@TimTheHuman-br1nl Just watch out for the "academics" who are just gunning for a moral system they despise.
