Here’s some fun synchronistic symbolism: We know Bethlehem means 'house of bread' in Hebrew, but in Aramaic it translates to 'house of meat.' Symbolically, this means Jesus was born in the 'house of flesh'-the body-a fitting place for God to enter into humanity and for Christ to be born within all of us. From there, you can play with the idea that the 'house of bread' transforms into the 'house of meat,' much like bread becomes body in the Eucharist. It’s a beautiful symbolic reflection of incarnation and transformation.
That is the modern Aramaic version “beyt lahm” for the house of meat. But the original version is the same translation “beyt lehm”, the house of bread. Nothing has changed and there is no corruption or confusion in the text.

Had to chime in immediately after the passages were read... But by listening to the narrative and identifying keywords that stand out in my consciousness, and somehow making those statements applicable to myself in a nearly incomprehensible manner, I picked up on a metaphor at the end. Referring to Christ, as a baby, swaddled in clothes and in a manger. There exists a Christ-like light within all of us. "Swaddled in clothes" would be in relation to the way we protectively cover ourselves with the personality traits we develop (or "put on") as we grow into adulthood... And I immediately drew a connection of the "manger" with that of a mangy dog. Which in my mind, is a direct representation of the world as we will ultimately come to see it through any degree of exposure to the ways in which it operates. It is, in fact, a dirty world... Anyway, the point is that Christ's light resides within all of us from birth. And if we can manage to see His entire story through metaphor in a similar fashion, there will almost always be components present that remind us of something that sits at our very core. The story is about us. Jes-Us. He's Us.
But, the story is not about us. We simply want to think that because we have big egos. Jas 4:6 But He gives a greater grace. @wendy6781 I'm sorry you see it that way. Because if Jesus is offering Himself to you but you refuse to accept Him as a part of you? Because you are a part of Him? Then how can you ever expect to enjoy Eternity? Going home to God means returning to your own core of existence... Without developing the proper understanding, the separation persists. It's so hard to fathom that most of the dedicated followers of Christianity have yet to accept what He was teaching. The only penalty behind that is the lack of Knowing to coincide with one's faith. @@jeremycancelo9113 You are making assumptions about my relationship with Christ but you don't know my relationship with Him. Only He and I are privy to that and I never shared that with you. Nor would Christ share our relationship with you so it is not a part of this conversation. The indwelling of Holy Spirit does not make a person equal to Christ. No one is equal to Christ. If a "god" is no higher than myself, or as you say, is us, then that "god" is a puny, useless god. He's no better than those so-called gods people have on their mantel who does not have eyes that see, ears that hear or a mouth that speaks. My God is seated on a throne above it all. The action of sanctification in the life of a believer is to separate us from our true nature, which is unrighteous. Hence being born again. Complete redemption does not happen until death or rapture occurs. Then the true believer is changed forever. That is biblical. "Extra dimension", "fully aligned", "core of existence"... that's new age talk. New agers use Bible terminology such as faith, but deceive themselves trying to speak a language they are unfamiliar with because familiarity only comes with the indwelling of the Spirit of God. Test the spirit.
Betlehem literaly means house of bread. The prophetic value of Jesus, who is the bread come down from heaven, being born in a "manger" in "bet lehem" cannot be underestimated. And by now you all know that I am catholic I imagine...

Dear Jordan, I want to wish you and your family a very Marry Christmas and also remind the world that Jesus said that we "MUST be born again." John 3 is a very important chapter to understand. Once we're born again we will know without a doubt that we have Salvation. This Christmas I want to encourage everyone to repent of their sins directly to Jesus Christ alone (with no mediator in the way) and let Jesus Christ know how we feel about Him paying our sin debt in full. ❤ Psalm 51:17 "The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise."
Recently I heard a different prospective of the situations of shepherds in that time. That they were very important (maybe even rich and respected) as they were the ones who provided for the sacrifices that people were required to make when they traveled to the temple every year ..
Dear Lord, I can feel the cracks in my life becoming bigger. I am tired. My mind is a plague I can't escape, and the fight to not dabble in the ways of the world is a fight I am losing interest in. I am tired. The injustice of my misery is heavy. My mind flickers between the selfish desires of my heart and plight before my human eyes. I am tired. If my circumstances are necessary for your cause.... I am tired. I know that the happiness that comes from your grace is greater than the worlds, but my selfish eyes find no comfort from either, as they can not coexist. I am tired.
What in the world does this comment mean? I know what you said has a lot of meaning and I can feel it but I can’t decipher it. Can you break it down for me, please?
@ natural revelation is what you can learn by observation and deduction alone. This includes science, philosophy, history, psychology…of which Peterson is of a high caliber. But special revelation is information God gives. It’s the top down direction of Jacob’s ladder. Now once the Magi got hold of Hebrew sacred text they studied it with more vigor than the Jews (ironically). So interesting they found the Messiah, and the Israelite natives missed it. They even brought gold and frankincense because they knew Messiah would fulfill both offices of king and Priest! (Zech 6:13)
Generation into one person YES! Into me, you (within our individual relationship with our Creator, process consuming all of our unrighteous character(s) leaving only the true Character of Our Creator (HIS MIND, TRUTH) our fulfillment, only manifesting the true image of our BELOVED, Our CREATOR
Your question about Jesus is best answered by the words found in the Bible. If the answer is not in the Bible, then we can not know the answer because it is unknown. Don't take the word of men as absolute truth unless their answer corresponds to what God says.
Simple answer to the first question, christians who do unholy evil things, may be true believers (or not), sin. Even believers sin, we're not perfect. What will make things truly peaceful is following the word of God not only because 'i say so' but because it's in the best interest for all humanity. Sin is literally falling short, failing to do right. By definition that will cause bad things to happen. Simple answer i guess isn't so simple. Imagine the complicated in depth answer😅
Jordan Peterson really insulted the jews by insinuating that their honoured sages that we call pharisees are a better archetype of a failed religion than the roman cult.
2:23 “Who Is GOD here?” “Is that every human baby with the potential to participate in the redemption of the world?” No, Jesus Is GOD in flesh. Always was GOD from all eternity, Who descended and took on flesh (incarnate). We (humans) do not have the same potential, making ourselves gods from a pre-existence! Jesus is GOD and Wholly different from you and me; He Is Holy, Holy, Holy; set apart. John 14:9 “Jesus said to him, “Have I been so long with you, and yet you have not come to know Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? John 10:30 “I and the Father are one.” John 8:56-59 “Your father Abraham rejoiced to see My day, and he saw it and was glad.” 57 So the Jews said to Him, “You are not yet fifty years old, and have You seen Abraham?” 58 Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was born, I AM, 59 Therefore they picked up stones to throw at Him,…” ❤️✝️👑🎄

The quality of the Faith is far more important than that of the understanding. But I prefer to experience the extra dimensions that come when both are more fully aligned. To each their own, my friend...
This is surprisingly relaxed and naively positive. What a joy to see something like this in the modern mess the internet is sometimes.
Betlehem literaly means house of bread. The prophetic value of Jesus, who is the bread come down from heaven, being born in a "manger" in "bet lehem" cannot be underestimated. And by now you all know that I am catholic I imagine...
Jesus Christ is our savior. Please have mercy on me.
Thank you 🙏
The shepards were watching the sacrificial lambs for Passover. How beautiful is that!
We love you peterson ! Specially when you dont cry 😂❤

Shepherds - the good shepherd risks his life for the sheep. 🐑 🐏 🐑
The best shepherd gave His life for us sheep . Jesus is KING !
I pray 🙏 lord God everyone should see this they are studying your beautiful mind and soul, you words
If anyone is searching for a complete Traditional explanation of the providential necessity of the Roman Empire for the birth of Christ I overwhelmingly recommend Schwerpunkt's history of religions series.
Great message ❤
🎉factual information ℹ️. As you were sharing ideas.💡 I pulled my Bible -To read along.
The Magi, 🎁 , bowed down and worship the King of the Jews. 🎉 after presented their gifts they were warned 😢to use different route.
We Hail the King of Glory 🎉
Queen of Divine Will pray for us to be worthy of your beloved baby JESUS Word made Flesh and dwell amongs us.
To not spiritually bypass and to have mind and body attached... you must feel the body...
As the lotus rises through the water. Man has to understand the body, the emotional/psychological experiences of the body. That is where the baby is... but it is allowing that baby to rise from within and become enlighten and liberated from it's history...
3:32: "For it is the one who is least among you all who is the greatest." - Luke 9:48
what a time to be alive.
Zechariah 8:23 ESV
[23] Thus says the Lord of hosts: In those days ten men from the nations of every tongue shall take hold of the robe of a Jew, saying, ‘Let us go with you, for we have heard that God is with you.’”
As a gentile I grab the tassel of Yeshua and follow Him wherever He may lead. I thank God but also pray His good news of Messiah will reach more people especially the sons of Abraham.
Psalm 51:17
"The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit;
a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise."
Recently I heard a different prospective of the situations of shepherds in that time. That they were very important (maybe even rich and respected) as they were the ones who provided for the sacrifices that people were required to make when they traveled to the temple every year ..
“The word for good news is ‘Evangelion.”
My brain: SHOUNEN YO SHINWA NI NARE
Thank you❤
"Great things from lowly beginning" @Jordan Peterson
Dear Lord,
I can feel the cracks in my life becoming bigger. I am tired.
Merry Christmas and God bless you ❤
Jesus Christ is God ❤
The Magi represent you, Dr. Peterson. It’s people who synthesize natural revelation with special revelation.
(Zech 6:13)
@@bruin4Christ that’s pretty cool. Why do you think the Magi studied the texts more than the Jews?
The predetermined plan of God was to perfect the Author of Salvation through sufferings Hebrews 2:10
Amen ❤❤❤
Great information here
I want more of this 🙏
“… round aboot them…” Merry Xmas!
Great show, distinguished Gentlemen: God rest ye gentleman❤...
I asked a question to myself yesterday about Jesus and just got the answer in this video.
Beautiful! (All we need now is the Gerry Grannelli music in the background Linus...er.. Jordan!) Thank you. 🙂
GBU Jordan P.👏✝️⛪♥️
Jordan Peterson really insulted the jews by insinuating that their honoured sages that we call pharisees are a better archetype of a failed religion than the roman cult.
2:23 “Who Is GOD here?” “Is that every human baby with the potential to participate in the redemption of the world?”
No, Jesus Is GOD in flesh. Always was GOD from all eternity, Who descended and took on flesh (incarnate). We (humans) do not have the same potential, making ourselves gods from a pre-existence!
Jesus is GOD and Wholly different from you and me; He Is Holy, Holy, Holy; set apart.
John 14:9
“Jesus said to him, “Have I been so long with you, and yet you have not come to know Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?
John 10:30
“I and the Father are one.”
John 8:56-59
“Your father Abraham rejoiced to see My day, and he saw it and was glad.” 57 So the Jews said to Him, “You are not yet fifty years old, and have You seen Abraham?” 58 Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was born, I AM,
59 Therefore they picked up stones to throw at Him,…”

Peterson seems to believe the entire Bible is symbolic and is not historical documentation.
@@officialtbhoopsPeterson doesn't realize it but he has a very Gnostic view of the Bible, Knowledge above all.
Colossians 2:8 See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the elemental spiritual forces of this world rather than on Christ.
This is why I take any interpretation that Peterson does of the Bible with a grain of salt. He's trying to approach the Bible through Gnosticism.
@@Deathl2ow ❣️
@@Deathl2ow It's gnostic because he still is sort of a nominalist, to some extent. at least thats what seems to be the case. Christianity is fundamentally a metaphysically realist religion/philosophy.
@@Deathl2ow You're not giving him enough credit for what he may or may not realize. Imo it's the best, and likely only, realistic interpretation. Imagine being able to convince the world of the need and goodness of the human wisdom accumulated over millennia, and documented in these texts, without having tor resort to making up - and forcing people to believe, often through coercion and violence - in the existence a fictional character.
Merry Christmas Jordan and the Peterson Family!!!
