I made this video cause I saw a round where warops was declared, and the nukies bought 4 assault borgs. The station did not prepare any form of emp weapons, so this video should help the crew prepare just a bit better against a cyborg attack.
i was a nukie that round lol, we got the borgops to emag normal borgs and we called it borgception. when me and the other ops died, we got the borgs to make medics a hostage then revive one of the operators. Then the ems people came when station was fucked
I dont play ss14 a whole lot but i dont think one specific melee weapon and an obscure chem recipe makes for good counterplay options vs something as simple and effective as summoning multiple warbots and just rolling as a huge deathball I feel like the core weakness of nukies should always center around their lack of numbers (thematically anyway), and holoparasites were a good way to have nukie companions with some readily accessible and straight forward counterplay (kite the holo, crit the op, etc). Warbots just feel like extra nukies that can also heal to full if nukies just bring welders. As it is, i feel like warbots just make the nukie gamemode worse
Yeah I was the RD that shift and was moving to the bridge to install some more traps and then got jumped by 3 of the borgs at once as well as one of the nukkies. It was not fun and the panic of it made me forget I had a CLF bomb in my bag.
@@quri1q662you can get everything you ever need from random chemical mutation, or you can grind steel for iron and get uranium and aluminum from said mutation. Steel grows on steelcaps by the way
Yeah borgs are surprisingly squishy. People often complain about the syndicate one but borgs honestly drop like flies atm. I hope once we get more EMP type stuff in the game they can get some actual damage resists on the go.
Problem is that borgs go in, loose, but soften the defenders so hard, that nukies come to clean up, and then just repair borgs. Rinse and repeat. Cant destroy borgs as bullets fly over when they are in crit mode. So you gotta whack them with crowbar or something, but then nukies come and stop you.

That's not war ops, that's war engineers.
i think i was in that round (if not, a similar situation), and yeah, i hope as many chems or techies see this video as possible lmao

finally a weapon to surpass metal gear
"Nobody can make EMP by themselves" *laughs in botanical*
Botany can grow an entire station on their own to be fair lol
How can botany do this?

Borgs are also very vulnerable to blinding, so feel free to use flash, flashbang, and portable flashers against them.
I was just starting to find these little goobers super annoying, finally, no more borgs
thank you king
The game could really use some neat list of those kinds of reaction effects..
underrated man
