    Hey there, I am really tempted to buy these gloves, in the same colour as yours actually. I had a couple of questions:
    - Do they get dirty easily? And how is the synthetic leather holding up after using them for a while? I plan on using it on the heavy bag a lot.
    - I was also debating getting the LX versions, but I heard reviews that they are not as durable (issues with flaking). Did you see the same types of issues?

    I bought the T3 gloves in October 2019. I box 3-5 times per week for 60 minutes per day. At least 1 day per week i box for 2 hours. I predominantly use a PRO BOXING 110lb 6ft heavy bag, but i also use water bags and double ends.
    Its January 2024. With the exceptions of some loose strings in the black elastic strap, these gloves are still going strong. The only reason im researching new gloves is because im considering buying the T3 again or upgrading to the T3 Kanpeki leather gloves.
    Sometimes I do research the Rival RB10 INTELLI-SHOCK, but they are an additional $50 more than a glove that have lasted me 4.5 years and still going.

    I bought the S3 Leather Hayabusa gloves and loved them but that thumb material to wipe away sweat (which i rarely ever used) started separating from the leather thumb area. Its not a very strong material and will separate at the seam after period of use, well that is if you make a proper fist on impact with the thumb somewhat tucked in. I was so upset because these gloves are not cheap but i liked the support it gave my hands. I would suggest they make sure to reinforce that material so that it does not separate from where it joins with the leather on the thumb so easily. Its a nice feature to have to wipe away sweat but i would much rather not have have it if it meant the gloves would stay in tact.

  • @FredKuneDo
    @FredKuneDo 4 года назад +1

    Seth, even if you do not like handwraps, because of your karate background, there are some shorter, elasthic wraps with length between 2, 5 m to 3,5 m. (Hayabusa sells some 120 inch "mexican youth wraps" for example, should be ca. 3 m)
    One reason is really to catch some of the sweat of your hands, extending the lifespan of your gloves.

    • @FredKuneDo
      @FredKuneDo 4 года назад

      @@SenseiSeth, makes sense. With harder punches in sparring, the risk of hurting the wrist on your pardners guard may increase. While throwing circular punches, for example.
      There is no defintive rule to wearing wraps or gloves anyway.
      Depends on what and how you are working on.
      I do not let my folks get on the heavy bag without at least some short wraps around their knuckles, because I let them hit it for more than an hour, to work on the endurance and power. On a canvas or leather heavy bag, they would bleed on it sooner or later.
      They have to wear gloves on the bag, when they need to learn/know how to punch in a glove type for sparring or competition.

    Mine lasted 6 months heavy use, 6-7 days a week. I got 16oz and I weight about 155. The padding on the right knuckle broke down unfortunately.
    Still happy with them for the price. Super comfortable and pretty durable but I don’t know how they last people years.

    I bought a pair of 16-oz have lots of gloves, so these were lying about in brand new condition never touched, put one glove on, eight or nine light jabs, the inside near the thunp, whatever fake leather they are using, became extremely loose from the padding, only on the glove I used, you could pinch it slightly, and see in next to no time at all, these would be pretty unuselble, I have used hayabusa products in the past found them to be ok, these gloves have amazing wrist protection, but apart from that I would not bother, contacted hayabusa with pictures, the customer service leaves a lot to be desired enough said buy some decent boxing gloves, I paid £130 now they are £110, maybe I got a bad batch, because after a very small amount of use of the glove has format big wrinkles in the knuckle area, has anybody had this issue

      Dude I started at home during the lockdown with RUclips vids. Now I’m down 92lbs and basically own a boxing gym in my backyard and everything was either made or bought super cheap second hand.

    I know people are broke, but you shouldn't ever use the same gloves for sparring and hitting heavybags. Even "multi-purpose" gloves are designed for you to choose a purpose, not use them for all purposes.

    Sorry man, once you mention you’re sponsored by them your “review” is now just a promotional hype plug no matter how good the product is

    • @SenseiSeth
      @SenseiSeth  3 года назад +3

      If you’d like you can watch the first video I made, when I was NOT an ambassador (To be transparent, I’m not technically sponsored. I don’t get paid to make the video, just for units sold.) However, I totally get where you’re coming from. I do disagree though. I am an ambassador of 2 products total. I use these gloves and shinguards nearly every day, it was an honest review. The link is simply a way to support my channel 👍

      Sensei Seth thanks for the quick reply. It’s clear you’re passionate about the gloves and I appreciate your honest disclosure of your ambassador role. You’re not the only RUclipsr giving high praise to the product so I’m not saying you’re full of s%^t; having said that, once you’re affiliated w/a product it lessens the quality of your input and review of said product. You’re in a tough position. Keep working hard

      I get what you’re saying! I had the same thought when I first took the ambassadorship. Then I remembered I’d probably be making the video no differently regardless. The link is the only change 😊👍 have a good one!
