  • The Ladies of Song (Celeste Scott, Margaret Aikens Jenkins, Robbie Preston Williams, and Gwendolyn Smith) was organized in 1961 and recorded a few albums. Robbie Preston is the mother of the late Billy & Rodena Preston, and she was also a songwriter and pianist. Margaret Aikens was a publisher, writer and singer, who wrote many Gospel standards such as “A Brighter Day Ahead,” “All Is Well,” and “Lord, Don’t Let Me Fail,” which were all recorded by the Gospel Queen, Mahalia Jackson.
    The Ladies of Song sing "Don't Stop Using Me," from their album titled EVERYBODY WILL BE HAPPY. Other details on this album are as follows:
