- Met my buddy Justing out in Galveston East Bay to do some marsh fishing and ended up being a great fishing day! The fish were hungry but I ended up losing my pink hunchback R.I.P.

I fished east bay yesterday. I target flounder mostly. Caught 4@16-18" before that front blew in and it got nasty. As I mentioned before, I usually fish tandem jigs and caught 2 flounder on the same cast. Lots of bait where I was. Shad about 2" long, finger mullet and a lot of juvenile shrimp.

Most times when I find a spot like this, before I leave I'll clean my fish and put the guts and heads back into the water to keep it fishy! Just a heads up!
Just a heads up, if you get stopped on the water by fish and game with fish filets in your boat you may be fined and left fishless. Just thought I’d share.
@@blakemyers5010 Depending on the State one square inch of skin is to be left remaining for identification verification.
I also use speed clips. The one I use like a paper clip. About every other trip, I'll make a great cast, then I discover it came off the clip. Every time I bring it in the clip has flipped upside down, exposing the lure to fall off. I get to where I'll visually inspect it every couple of casts.
Another awesome video. I’ve fished many miles of those shore lines. My house was a block over on Fisherman, Pre Ike of course. Who makes the Hunchback you fish with.

Aloha Kagen, Mahalo nui for yet another great vid. My buddy from here just retired in Port Lavaca, TX, and he's been bugging me to visit and fish for redfish and specks.
Question: What size PVC pipe you using for your trailer bunks, and how are they working out?
I think the bunks are 3 inch PVC and it sits perfectly a little bigger than the rails under the solo. A little bigger but thats what you want. I know a 2x4 will fit into them but causes a problem cause it makes it hard to unload it once those boards sit inside the slots. (Wedging effect)
So you recommend a 3 inch? How wide you set tge PVC? Did you cut the PVC to 10 inch long?

On the hunch back, what rod action are you using? Also did you modify or swap the hook? Also are you using the bigger, or smaller hunch back? I've tried using the hunch back, and have had zero luck.
Arron 0507 I’m using a 7’3 medium fast rod. I just changed the trebles to different ones. I am using the bigger one. I work the lure in a popping/walking the dog style with pauses.
