Thanks for covering the Sea Doo Fish Pro Trophy! I just bought my husband this badass machine. He is taking it out today for the first time. Great videos.
Great videos. I've owned one Fish Pro. In fact, I've owned two. The first one was great. I swapped it off for a new one last year. I was one of the unfortunate ones who had IDF issues. They NEVER got it fixed. After being stranded on the water three times, my dealer was good enough to allow me to return the ski. Since I loved my first Fish Pro so much, I decided to chance it again, and buy a third one. Unfortunately, with the way things are right now, I don't have it yet. I've been waiting since August of 2021 for it to come in. It is supposed to be shipped to my dealer on the 15th of this month. We'll see. Anyway, like I said, your videos are great. The sunset on the calm water looked fantastic. I've been there, done that on my first Fish Pro. I know exactly what that feels like, man. The 360 camera was great. Thank you so much for not getting too crazy with it. I hate those videos where guys go nuts with their 360 cameras. Those videos are disorienting to me and almost make me seasick...lol. I hate 'em. Could you tell me about your camera mount, please? I see you're using RAM mounts. What RAM mounts are you using, and how are you mounting them to the ski? Thanks a lot.
Thanks for watching!! It is an absolute blast to be on the fish pro. The mount I am using is a ram ball rod holder adapter then their ram ball camera pole
I love that set up! Nothing like a Ski chasing fish.. Want to find big Spec's? Throw that Paul Brown Fatty Texas Chicken Lure. I limited out in less than 10min fishing the Quintana Jetties in Surf about the 4th gut. I Started culling 17" to 18" Trout because it fire! Lady fish would smoke my MirrOdine lure but every cast with that Paul Brown hooked up! I had guys offering me $50 for that lure because they were using live shrimp under a cork but catching trash fish. That was June 29th & 30th. NNW Breese to my back made the surf right there like glass. I would love to get a ski but out of my budget. Now my Son wants to get Kayaks
Awesome to hear you smashing them! I love those days when you have the perfect tackle to smoke the good fish! Kayaks are still a great way to get out and have fun! Thanks for watching!
I'd get either a handheld spotlight or 6" light bar for your sea-doo if you ever get caught when the sun goes down. Careful coming in or out of the boat launch at the end of Texas City Dike. On the far right of the boat launch there a lot of wrecks, dangerous reefs, and structures that you don't see on marine maps. Looks tempting to fish but I'm too scared to get slamed into the hidden dike, ships passes by leaving large wakes. Like the new 360-degree camera that's a fun toy for your collection.
Yah wouldn’t be a bad idea to have a light on it for other boats to see me but because of the garmin I have total confidence if I had to running at night
@@KagenFishing I'm also running those fishfinder/GPS combos on my boat but at night it's a whole different ball game. At your size, you want to be a beacon out on the water. You can be doing 30-50mph in glass conditions if you hit a floating log you are sailing off your sea-do and tumbling into dark waters. At night you'll be searching for pimple size green/red dots on the water while if you have a light bar it's far easier to see. You're young have balls of steel be safe, and good luck out there.
Wish I could get my hands on one. Everywhere I call in my area , people have deposits on them and they don’t have ECU chips because of shortage. If anyone has info on where I can get one in Florida let me know
Hey man, im actually ordering 2023 model and i can't walt top get this thing out on the water, where did you get that Power pole for that? That is slick!! Let me know. Thanks Glenn. Tampa, FL
Hey bro, I just subscribed to your channel I'm looking at getting a fish pro trophy next year the only reason why I'm getting the trophy is the swivel seat and I've noticed other people on RUclips that have the trophy don't use the swivel seat at all let me know how much you use that swivel seat and do you really like it otherwise I'll just get the other fish pro instead of the trophy I appreciate it Keep up the good work like your channel
I think if you spend any amount of time out on the water for leisure or fishing having a seat back to set up and chill on is an absolute game changer. If you just take little rides then not worth it. But I know going from a solo skiff with no seat back to having a boat where I can sit back for a bit will extend the time you spend on the water. Also if it’s to choppy to stand on the back you just set up your seat and you are at an elevated position that rotates 360 and is so comfortable
Nice Fish Pro! Just remember to always wear your PFD while on the ski even while launching the ski off the trailer and only ride from sunrise to sunset its Texas State law.
Just a FYI, we took our skis up to lake somerville a while back and got tickets for not having our life jacket on while launching and tying up to the dock. GM walked up right as we were getting off the ski onto the dock.
Wow well that’s dumb I get running but launching especially when solo is already difficult enough and having to take a life jacket on and off for two seconds is a silly rule.
How long is your power pole because I’m thinking about buying one of those fish troop, fish, pro trophies, and I had an idea about putting one of those on. Just wanted to know how long the pole was on
Well depends on how shallow the flats get but if there’s just bottom grass in abt 1.5ft you should be fine but if it comes up to surface it could clog impeller
Draft is a little less than a foot in with a full tank of gas it handles shallows fine but if you are running in less than 2ft the impeller could suck sand oyster etc into it just fyi
Not sure about the fish pros but I do know other sea doo models use a cheap replaceable liner in the pump..and one good amount of sand threw it puts the impeller out of spec and causes a huge power loss until you replace the sleeve
Does it go shallow enough for you, or do you still use or recommend the solo skiff? I have a 22’ bay boat with a Jack plate to get down to about 12” of water, but I keep seeing everyone catching in super skinny water in clear lake and galveston areas. Debating if I look into a solo skiff or one of these jet skis as your offshore fishing experience looks pretty awesome !
The ski can float in inches but I wouldn’t take off in that. I would be comfortable taking off in abt a foot when I know it’s just a sand or mud bottom and I would be comfortable with idling the ski in 6inches to get to deeper water to take off. The solo skiff would be better for super skinny water but in the solo it needs to be calm or your getting wet and it only goes 13mph. Where the ski can cut through 2ft chop all day comfortably and can go 50mph. With every craft and boat there’s give and take. But I do have to say I love being able to get out offshore with it and was my main reason for getting it.
@@KagenFishing is there anything in our area you find it can’t do ? Being that you own all three- what percentage of use is on the sea-doo ? I have a 22’ shearwater bay boat, and a double seated kayak, but haven’t had much time for either. Do you stay drier on the sea-doo compared to your aluminum boat ?
Thanks for covering the Sea Doo Fish Pro Trophy! I just bought my husband this badass machine. He is taking it out today for the first time. Great videos.
Lucky guy
I’m still Hella-Jealous. If I hit the Lotto, I’m getting one of those.
Love the power pole idea on the FishPro....have never seen that!!

Gotcha. Thanks a bunch.
Nice Jet Ski 👍
Great content as always....
awesome video! Also by the way I have a galveston/houston fishing channel myself. Nice fish man tight lines!
Game changer homie, with the camera 👆🏽
Thanks man! It’s fun to play with
Nice! I have a 2020 Fish Pro and love it! Would like to see how you have that power pole mounted to the back if you could do a video. Thanks!

I am picking up my Fish pro Trophy Tuesday. Wish I could ask you some questions about the power pole. Thanks for putting out the vids!
What questions do you have
Yea I have questions also. Don’t actually have the trophy yet-even though ordered last Aug’21.
Wish I could get my hands on one. Everywhere I call in my area , people have deposits on them and they don’t have ECU chips because of shortage. If anyone has info on where I can get one in Florida let me know
Same all the way across the country in Washington state
How and where did you mount the power pole

O yeah that's one of those special kinda assholes, he just doing his job tho atleast that's what he tells himself
How long is your power pole because I’m thinking about buying one of those fish troop, fish, pro trophies, and I had an idea about putting one of those on. Just wanted to know how long the pole was on
8ft
You would think east bay loaded with fish right now. The salinity is as high as it gets
could u post some pics of power pole micro setup
How did you mount the power pole to the ski?
Can you do a video on how you setup the power pole on the back of it?
came here looking for the same info. Also if the grass messes with the impeller
So did the swivel seat seem like a waste of time, or did you really like it?
I really like the swivel seat. But when it’s super calm I just like standing on the back.
Which length Micro pole is mounted? What battery setup are you using to power it?
I’m using the micro powerpole battery that’s made by powerpole. It just clips into it so no wires or anything. That pole is 8ft
Did Tommy ever locate his Solo Skiff?
He sure didn’t but luckily his renters insurance covered it since it was stolen at his apartment when it happened
@@KagenFishing Oh that's good then! Glad to hear it!
how does that thing run in the shallow grass flats
Well depends on how shallow the flats get but if there’s just bottom grass in abt 1.5ft you should be fine but if it comes up to surface it could clog impeller
Iv been on the fence of getting one of these or a new boat. What's the draft and how does it handle the shallows?

How shallow does it draft?
It floats in shin deep water so close to a foot?
Where do you launch out of?
I launched at the end of Texas City Dike
Nice ride like your videos but your music will too loud compared to your voice
Thanks for the feedback I will make sure to level sound better
Music is too loud and SUCKS
hey what kind of mount do you have for your camera?
